Loved the pool courtyard and it’s beautifully lit up pool in the evening. Plenty of tables and chairs in the courtyard to enjoy family meals. Also loved the water purifier with plentiful amounts. Truly enjoyed Unit 4 with its large windows looking into the courtyard and a very large Palm Tree. So nice to have washer/ driver in the unit. (bonus) Staff very kind and helpful. The communication with the owner was truly outstanding. Always there to help out! 2 day delay due to flight cancellation and was able to extend for two extra days. gracias! Would definitely come back! Must say great location walking distance to the beach say 10-15 minutes. Yes you have to cross a busy street however worth it.

The bedrooms in the front are loud due to street noise. Also the blackout blinds need to be fixed to completely blackout the light and possibly the noise. The unit could use more kitchen utensils and having a strainer would be helpful.

The cleanliness, the kitchen, washer/dryer, large showers, responsiveness of the staff, and the excellent pool. The proximity to Malecon and Puerto Vallarta is also ideal. Buscerias, where this hotel is located, is a little cheaper, quaint, and small townish. However, if you would like to travel to more touristy spots, you are only a short Uber/taxi/bus ride away.

Its very difficult to find any faults with this hotel, but if I had to nitpick; crossing a busy street to get to the beach and restaurants is the only thing I can mention. As long as you understand that this location isn't exactly beachfront property and you'll have to do very little walking and/or driving, then you will be pleasantly surprised. Honestly, there are no negatives with Frida Kahlo.

What breakfast?

The stairs going to the room steep no railing. All the different levels in the rooms! No counter space in the bathroom! No mats in the showers wash machine leaks into hallway!

The venue is lovely but noisy in the front suites. The staff are fantastic and accommodating. It feels more like Mexico here then in the big resorts. We have loved our stay and will be back again.

Noise from the iron workers but that is Mexico. The stairs and weird steps are dangerous.

Location manager spoke no English we speak no Spanish. Used email and translation and they ALWAYS went above to help us with everything.

Security could have been a little more active in late night with overly loud groups.

We liked the garden and swimming pool area

We didn’t like not getting our place cleaned every week or new bed linen, towels.

Hosts were very friendly and pleasant to be around.

during the day some construction and mechanic shop noise from next door. Also, at night, barking dogs kept it from being quiet and totally relaxing.

Very nice flat. comfortably furnished, fully air conditioned, well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and drier.

Wrong side of main road for beach but didn't bother us. Maybe less good for elderly or very small children.
