Overall I think this property is ok. There was nothing "wrong" with our stay, but I would not rent this property again. The layout of the house is weird with a very small kitchen and TV located in the basement. The master bedroom does not have shades on the main A-frame windows and the glass is thin, so expect to be woken up by the birds and morning sun. I heard similar complaints about the other bedrooms. Decent and very quiet location and a good choice for those visiting the cape on a budget.

This home is walking distance (all within 15 min) to all the great things woods hole has to offer- shopping, dining, the ferry and some beautiful local beaches. The home is full of character and is a spacious 5 bedrooms 2.5 baths, with a well appointed outdoor space that includes large decks with ample seating for dining and relaxing. The home was clean and we were provided with more than enough towels linens and extra pillows etc to be more than comfortable for our stay.

We rented this house for a friends wedding in Woods Hole. The town and beach were walkable, we loved the back deck and barbequing in the bamboo forest. Everything was clean and well appointed. Would definitely rent again.

We had a difficult time getting the address because two different websites Most of the bedrooms did not have a bedspread Kitchen was disgusting Family room had a dirty futon to sit on

Okay I never feel inclined to leave reviews but this one made me want to help other renters be totally aware of what they’re walking into. Overall, it held its purpose and I would recommend again for how cheap the property was. BUT: - sauna did not work, after many attempts and google searches to figure it out - spider webs and crumbs and dust everywhere. I feel like the cleaning crew just changes the sheets and empties the trashes and then calls it a day (showers had bugs in them) - the pictures everywhere are honestly pretty creepy. Kind of felt like you’re in a horror movie at night, but in the daylight it’s significantly better - there was no propane in the grill. The oven/stove didn’t work. If you stay here, plan on eating out the entirety of your trip, or come with your own propane tank. Pros: - great location - easy check in/out - price - the deck and outdoor space is amazing, wish we got to use it more if the weather was better Overall, I would recommend this house but just go in with wicked low expectations! **In reference to another review about a neighbor complaining about noise: there is a neighbors house directly next to the house, probably about 10 feet’s distance. Luckily right now it is under construction, but I can definitely see how that could be an issue if you were to be noisy.

Photos are beautiful. Step inside and try to figure out the smell. Comforters in closet smelled like never been washed. Had to go buy blankets. Kitchen in basement old and not user friendly. Bathrooms smell like cesspool. One TV in basement where the worst smell was. Never again will we book there.
