Staff were not attentive and not friendly at all.

Overall was a great experience. Suited our needs and were able to mingle with the locals in the bar.

The shared bathroom facilities were in poor condition. These needed to be cleaned and have hand towels and bath mat changed regularly. We were there for 3 days and these were not changed during our stay. The smell of cigarette smoke came through the rooms constantly due to balcony doors being left open and the draught pulling the smoke through. The rooms were very standard with the basics but most things were in poor condition.

Food was excellent. Bed was comfortable. But is not suitable for disabled or older folk. Only 1 toilet and 3 showers for all rooms. As it is an older building there was only stairs to go up to accommodation. No handrails on inside stairs about 20 steps. Beds were too close together. No hot water in the sink in the bedroom. Only stayed 2 nights out of the 3 paid for because I could not manage the stairs. But very pleasant and helpful staff.

HORRIBLE!! Room was dirty, didn't have bedsheets. When we asked for that, the cleaning lady went to check and she left the room even more messy and the "clean" bedsheets on the floor for us to make the bed. Also there was old opened soap on the shower, she didn't clean at all.

we checked in on Wednesday we lived there for a week and the bed sheets didn't change until we checked out. I went down, to the reception and ask for bed sheets and the staff said yes but never get the from them. everything perfect except the bed sheets

We loved the staff, the owner wasnt there when we arrived but came to meet us when he returned back to hotel. Lovely man friendly couldn't ask for more.Loved the band as there 8 of us and just traveled from north island some of our friends were tired so they stayed up stairs in rooms music wasn't a problem. Thank you too staff scotty, owner for having us and looking after us we will be back.

There is nothing we didnt like. We will return. Loved our showers. We knew what to expect but totally opposite not one problem for our group
