nice and comfortable place. It has all you need to make it a pleasant stay!

patio window doors were broken. apparently a known thing. you have to use the entrance door and it shut while we were sitting outside. Luckily a window was open and we could climb back inside!

It was so quiet and relaxing. Short walk to Marina and bars.

clean and well maintained. Close to the marina and local amenities.

The inside of the house is lovely with good sized bedrooms and kitchen facilities. Only a 10 minute walk to Puerto Calero and its restaurants

Houses are being built rights across the road and a forklift, cement mixer, jackhammers, drills, and hammers were going from 07.30 to 16.00 Mon -Fri and 07.30-13.00 on Sat. We had to move from the front bedroom to the back but noise still heard. Impossible to use the patio or balcony at the front for eating or sunbathing so had to eat inside. I checked Googlemaps before we left and it only showed empty ground opposite and next door where there is now a large sports complex. It is unfair to rent property under these circumstances. I guess building opposite could continue for another year so prospective renters should be wary. Also 1|) the top bathroom toilet seat was extremely loose and the shower heads kept drooping, 2) there were no curtains on the landing so people in the sports hall could see in 3) the swimming pool water was glacial and we were subjected to extremely loud heavy metal when we dared to sit outside one of the properties around the pool ( it stopped immediately when we moved) so we ended up using the leisure facilities at a hotel instead. Not only were we not informed by the owner/agents about the noise which we realise from previous reviews has continued for several months but Booking.com only highlights "See what guests loved the most" not the bad experiences.

construction work at location 6 days per week from 07.00. should have been told.

it was very clean, modern, spacious, good supply of cutlery and crockery, beach towels. good WiFi, very useful utility area with washing machine. good outdoor table and chairs. only attached to other townhouse on one side, leaving a lovely open view of the mountains. sports centre next door with lovely heated pools for all ages, only €7.

shower upstairs was in the bath which was awkward and shower didn’t stay in position. bedroom doors upstairs and bathroom door made a loud noise opening and closing. pool very cold.

The house was great, really clean, great communication with the host, nice restaurant and bar area down by the port...

They are building some apartments infront and it's a bit noisy around 9-10am. It's not Orquídeas fault but it's something worth knowing.

The place was amazing! The house was neat, with all you need as a holiday home. The swimming pool was great too! The area very quiet and great for a rest. Just a short walk from the port and many restaurants to choose from as well as a supermarket. Easy to go to more touristic/crowded places like Puerto del Carmen with a bus, taxi or driving. Definitely recommended.

Everything was great!

Owners are very nice and helpful, the house is completely renewed and everything is brand new and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and allows any kind of preparation. We found new and soft towels, wonderful mattresses and a nice sofa + smart tv. The block swimming pool is funny and always cleaned.
