The room I stayed in was cozy and clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

Plenty of parking and a nice location

The lodge was too small for a double and single bed. There was no room to properly use the kitchen facilities as the bed was too close, one example being that you could not fully open the fridge door.

A lovely little cabin which was warm and had a small kitchenette and en-suite. The collection of the keys was easy from a lock-box and there were a couple of complimentary bottles of water in the fridge which was welcome. The bed was particularly comfortable. One thing not noted in the property description was the park opposite the property which featured an outside gym - for those travellers who like a run or workout in the morning this would be a great facility in the summer months. Excellent value for money.

TV was at a slightly awkward angle for watching in bed and wasn't particularly easy to use but this is a very minor point and didn't detract from an excellent stay.

Easy to get to from the major roads, comfortable and somewhat better equipped than we expected. The site is in a reasonably pleasant suburb and opposite a park. The staff seemed friendly but the key-coded lock-box system meant we didn't have to have much to do with them. Self-catering facilities, though basic, were modern and more than adequate for our needs. We really enjoyed watching the Red Kites. The set-up worked well for us, so would certainly consider staying again should the need for a similar journey arise.

Nothing major, though the wind overnight brought down chestnuts onto the roof, which disturbed us on one of our nights. The local birds could be quite noisy in the morning, but we were quite happy to put up with that as we enjoyed seeing them.
