Location was great, kitchen and downstairs bathroom were fine. Holiday park itself was okay with lots of green open spaces and a decent play area and pool

The chalet was tired and old fashioned and the stairs to the upper floor was more of a ladder than a staircase. The shop on the site was not good, didn't even stock milk or fresh bread. The restaurant/bar was virtually non existent, only opening once a week at most, even though the holiday park was full.

The first moment we opened the door we were struck by the smell of mold that was in the whole house, the second thing was the refrigerator which was dirty and a terrible stench came out of it and the shower was dirty and clogged, a terrible place I will never recommend this place to anyone. We left this place immediately and we were not refunded, which is exactly £300 for a night we didn't even spend there. Shocking !!!!

Great location high above Kingsdown with friendly and helpful staff.

Sloping roof walls with rough artex surfaces dangerously close to your head and face when you get up. Rickety sliding bedroom doors. The chalet is not one of the ones with a nice view - but is close to car parking so didn’t require the garden centre style trolleys to transport luggage.

The new refurbished kitchen. Very clean house. Two bathroom. The equipment with large TV and good network connections. The decoration .

If we need to find something... but it was not awful. The double bed was small. The sofa was not so comfortable.

Location was fabulous, it was great having the pool close with young children. Easy to get into Deal and Dover, although local beach was extremely convenient. I was concerned about the £1 meter but the electricity lasted a decent time - we were probably using £2-3 a day and that was with the heating on in the morning and evening.

Paying nearly £200 for cleaning which was not well done ! I know this wasn’t down to the host, but we found old dirty socks behind one of the drawers and old crisps under the sofas but in east reach of little ones - they weren’t ours as we didn’t have any! We would have expected more for the money and present climate. Generally the cleanliness was poor. We could have done with access to a floor mop for the kitchen and more than one bin liner. Price of the chalet was right - it needs some updating but at the price we paid it was good.
