Call it how u like, I found this place to be a wonderful Canarian getaway, private Oasis, Nature hide out with a salt water pool & more than enough spots for a wonderful yoga morning stretching. Relaxing music with Canarian birds chirping in the background + incense sticks by the pool made it feel like Spa Wellness vacation & happiness at the same time. Very close to airport, great private location. We loved the swimming pool and the birds😊 Commune kitchen is fully equipped and we got to use it privately, there was no breakfast at the time of our stay, but we made some ourselves. The hostess was great!

Very nice and comfortable. A little oasis far away from the touristy towns. Perfect for relaxing.

Due to the construction nearby, the car access could be better.

The facilities were spot on. Very comfortable room with a great communal kitchen that was well kitted out.

Room are clean but minimalistic.

Wifi is really poor.Breakfast was not available.

Lovely coutyard and little pool once inside, and everything was very clean, at least at the start.

Room was hot. South facing and no fan or aircon (avoid sea view side) Room was noisey, due to airplanes flying over and nearby construction site. Bring ear plugs. Difficult to access. Easy for one direction of motorway (east), difficult the other way (a long route to get to other side). NO breakfast, so one B missing from B&B, at least from October onwards. Be warned as the place is in the middle of nowhere, you will need a car to do or get anything, including food and drink. Bring plenty of water, as you will need it to stay well hydrated. I was supposed to stay 6 nights but cut it short to 4, despite having paid for all 6.

Beautiful cosy garden where you can enjoy the calmness and the warm water in the pool. With a great kitchen to use, a clean and comfortable bedroom with a nice terrace Exceptional hospitality of the staff.

Amazing location, peaceful and quite, very clean and pleasant rooms, lovely garden with beautiful plants .. the place to stay if you wanna be away from the crowd but still very close to the airport and El Medano. Perfect location for the passionate of water sports kitesurf windsurf … Delicious breakfast home made by the lovely owner. Highly recommend!

Where to start, everything is super clean. The rooms are spacious and nice. Espescially the ones with the terrace with garden view are great. The breakfast is super and fresh, it will be made for you on the time that you want. When you step in the garden you feel like you are in Bali with all the beautiful plants and the birds singing. Jo and Jane are the best hosts and the nicest people. We went kind of unprepared for sightseeing and they made a 2 page list of nice places and restaurants to visit. Pictures on this site doesn't do it justice, since it is so much more beautiful in real life! Would rate them 20 out of 10!!!

Finda da Barca is an amazing little paradise, with a great kitchen to use, clean and comfortable bedroom, a beautiful garden, and really helpful hosts :)

Liked the calmness of the place and the relaxing atmosphere once you entered the premises. Also, there is a pool and a jacuzzi to use. The breakfast was really nice and a perfect start to our activity-filled days.

We really enjoyed our stay. If you want peace and quiet, this place is for you. Very friendly host and family. There was a good breakfast offered. We decided however to make our own coffee and our lovely host gave us a coffee plunger. There was a fridge in the room, which was very useful. And we had the use of the kitchen after 11am to 11pm. The location is great. It’s a peaceful little oasis with a lovely small heated swimming pool and gorgeous plants and trees. Very quiet. The whole place has been very beautifully designed. Our room had a veranda with the most comfy hammock type chairs. El Medano close by is such a mellow place, really loved it. We hired a car as we wanted to explore the area. There are fantastic mountains, forests, towns, fishing villages, all pretty close by. Finca La Barca is about 10 minute drive away from El Medano. You can walk to El Medano for the more adventures, it’s a long walk in tricky enough terrain, but enjoyable once you’ve figured out the way to go! The taxi cost 5 euro one night and 8 euro another night. Not sure why. So if you don’t have a car, you’ll need good walking shoes, water, a hat and possibly after a few drinks you might want to get a taxi back! Well worth it. We loved our stay. We’ll go back for sure.

We got horribly lost walking home our first night without a car. We had to go back down as it got dark and we got a taxi. The next day we walked down again, we still had difficulty finding the path, but eventually got there. I think it would really help if the host could maybe do a walking map and or put painted rocks at certain points to guide walkers. It takes 20-25 minutes to walk, the terrain is rough but is pretty too and nice to do if you like walking. Otherwise a worth hiring a car.

The place has everything you need in order to make your stay pleasant. The property was new so everything was nice and clean. The room was welcoming, the bathroom was clean and tidy, the big shower was a big plus. The pool was heated and the water was very clean. The courtyard looks very nice. I recommend the breakfast, it's very good. The owners are very nice people, making you feel like home. The location is very close to the airport.

It’s a great location, the garden is like a peace oasis, the rooms are very clean. Also, the host is very nice, helping you with everything you need. We will come back for sure.

Beautiful beautiful cosy garden with colorful birds, tropical trees, small elegant pool, even place for some yoga. Fantastic lovely made breakfast - to pay separately only 7€ You need to rent a car to get there.

Our stay was very good ! The staff is very friendly and always ready to propose a nice location for dinner or something else. The room was very clean and the Equipment was new. The garden in the building is absolutely awesome. Very nice for relaxing and enjoying. The Swimmingpool comes with warm water. Joanne, the owner is such a lovely person ! High recommendation from our side !

The room was a little dark by daytime. Strong wind OUTSIDE the building.

The owner and her family made the stay extremely enjoyable. The whole property was spotless and felt like a little haven, perfect for a relaxing time away. The pool was heated so was great for a wee dip after lounging in the sun. Lastly the breakfast was delicious! 100% recommend it.

I would definitely recommend hiring a car, it's a long walk to the surrounding areas. Its also very windy outside the property but the windsheilds around the building stop it from entering the pool and outside area.

Remote location, you will need a car to get to the nearest town as local roads are nothing but rocks and debris. A car/moped is a necessity if you want to stay at Finca La Barca

The place is located a bit far from civilization so you need a car.

It’s beautiful and modern. The owner is also very kind. It felt like being transported to Bali!

The road to get to the property is quite difficult! Definitely need a car if you stay here.
