Had a great time staying at this home. Great beach, amazing sunrises and awesome location. Home was super clean, beds were very comfortable and kitchen had everything that we needed. Thanks Les.

Les was great

Our group of 6 adults had a wonderful stay. We started our days with beautiful and tranquil sunrises on the expansive deck. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to easily prepare our coffee and breakfast before venturing out to enjoy Door County. The beach is amazing. We are already planning a trip back next summer to take full advantage of the sandy beach. We ended our days by grabbing a meal at the local restaurants and enjoying our evening cocktails by a bonfire under the the moon and stars.

This was an awesome place to stay and the beach kept the kids busy.

As good as advertised

Great location to explore all of Door County or just stay at the house and enjoy the lake life!! Everything was wonderful, clean and Les was close by to answer any questions! We had some wonderful weather and enjoyed swimming in the lake every day with the kids, very easy entry, sandy and shallow so the kids could enjoy by themselves. Shipwreck not far from shore you can easily swim out to. Farmers market was also an added bonus at the park next to the house. Les gave great recommendations for food and where to explore.

Good lake house for family get together

Loved staying at the Jacksonport house again. This is our 2nd time and it’s even better than our 1st stay in 2019. Looks like they’ve invested in new furniture, a new stone break wall, and a new wonderfully maintained beach! The house is right by the park, farmers market and Island Fever. A+ vacationing.

We needed to reschedule to an earlier week, which in June is before things really heat up around there, (so we did not get to test the air conditioner or much of th swimming!) but the host was gracious and generous with his support. The house is right next to a park with a playground, which the 10-year-old grandkids loved! The sandy beach is shallow for a long ways out! Thanks, Lee!

The property was so nice. The house has everything you need. The location was incredible. My family and I enjoyed the lake during the day and the firepit in the evening. The property manager was very accommodating.

This is a beautiful property with private beach access. The home is clean and provides everything you need. The only drawback is you are right next to the public beach so during weekend times there would be people that would come over to the private area. Other than that it’s a relaxing and beautiful area that we will visit again!!!

Great waterfront and sand beach frontage to enjoy water activities. Our group kayaked and paddleboarded in area throughout the day. Owner met us at check in. Only negative for us was an extra firm mattress- not our comfort level for a good night’s sleep.

This place is lovely...great for kids. The beach is sandy and shallow. Lake Michigan is always chilly, but the water warmed up everyday and was quite pleasant. Les met us at the house and explained ecerything we needed to know. We would stay here again in a minute. Have always stayed in the Fish Creek area and Jacksonport was a hidden treasure.......low key and tons of fun.

The beach is the selling point to this property. The water is shallow for several feet making it great for kids. The house is well maintained and clean. We had everything we needed for a great week on the beach.

This house was very clean and comfortable. With four adults and two kids we had plenty of room to spread out. The beach here is fantastic! Even with the extremely high lake level there was still plenty of dry sand. The sandy bottom slopes down very gradually which makes it perfect for little kids to wade and practice swimming. And there's a shipwreck just a few hundred feet off shore! We brought our canoe with and had no trouble spotting the wreck. The town was nice and quiet (exactly what we wanted) but still had two solid restaurants and a little grocery store just a few blocks away. The only small drawback was that we usually ran out of either cups or bowls before running the dishwasher at the end of the day. Not a big deal but would be nice to have more dishes available. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this house and will come back if we get the chance.

Fantastic location. Home was impeccably clean and location was the best! Close to everything. The hiking was amazing, the fall colors were beautiful! Love it!

My family rented this home for a long weekend and we had a great time. We enjoyed the private beach, and how close we were to surrounding areas. Overall we had a great experience.

The location was great. Small town, easy to access, two local restaurants, a grocery, coffee shop, playground, and of course the lake. All within 5 minutes of walking. Two nice state parks and nature centers nearby as well. Great for our two little boys. House was clean and very minimalist, but it had everything we needed. Owner met us for check-in, which was a nice touch, and nice that he is local as well.

We spent 3 nights celebrating retirement with our siblings. It was a perfect place to be. We could walk to dinner and down to the little grocery store for everything we needed. We walked on the beach and it was beautiful. We also spent time at some wineries and shopping. I would highly recommend this property.

Clean house, loved the view!

This was a beautiful home! We were worried about staying in Jacksonport, as it's a bit southern, it was actually perfect. The owner met us there and went over everything! We had everything available to us and it was perfect for our family gathering. Thank you so much for this perfect stay!!

Great location in Jacksonport. Great small community. Mike’s Port Pub & Grill is a four minute walk and completely worth it. Loved it all the way around.

Because the lake is was so high, there was no beach. The sump pump under the bedroom ran every 15 seconds so we didn’t get much sleep. The house was nice and the location was quite. We left early and received money back on the days that was left.

This was an amazing lake house to bring our family to. The house is nicely furnished and very clean. My only negative is that there are not enough linens and towels. There are no extra blankets for the night when the air is chilly. However, we loved the house and the location (it's on the quiet side) and having the grocery store, park, farmers market in the park, and the restaurants were great as well. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful family memories!!

We stayed here for 5 nights with 7yr, 5yr and 2yr old. Great location - not as touristy as Bailey's Harbor, Fish Creek, Sister's Bay and other small towns nearby which was perfect for us. We spent mornings and evenings playing at the beach (the house is located between two public beaches and has its own beach area). We found lots of very interesting rocks which the kids loved hunting for. There is a playground right next to the house. The other more touristy towns are a short drive away and are fun to explore during the day. Would definitely recommend this location. The house was clean and it had everything we needed.

Great location. We loved having the park with farmers market and playground literally as neighbors. We came for the 4th of July and could see fireworks along the shore to the north and south. Beach was almost non-existent due to high water levels all over the county, but we made use of the small boat loanch next door and entered that way. All sand bottom and clear water. ..no icky floaties ;) House was a great size with a central gathering area with each bedroom in it's own corner of the house. Would love to stay there again.

Great location, and the house worked perfectly for our family of 5 with 3 young kids (6, 3, 1 year old). Jacksonport and Baily’s Harbor offer a number of restaurants and parks, and it’s only a 20 minute drive to the other side. Perfect family getaway and looking forward to coming back for years to come.
