It is rather more expensive than any house we've used before, for a relatively small place

The location was superb, the accommodation was clean and hosts very quick to respond and help.

13.5 tog winter duvet on the bed in summer, we just used the cover. A bit noisy but not unexpected as read reviews. Dishwasher tablets but no obvious dishwasher? Would be helpful if we could have brought our small dog.

Great location for going out to restaurants in the evening. Nice house that worked well for our family of four. Good to have a smart TV and a second toilet (which I hadn't spotted in the description when booking).

Beds on the small side, depending on what you're used to. Lack of a dishwasher deterred us from cooking (but that's just us being lazy!). Some outside noise as it's so central but that's the flip side of an easy walk to everything. Parking space is tight for a large family car (but at least there is one).

The overall presentation of the property was very high. The kitchen was well stocked and the free parking was such a bonus. The hosts were very responsive (prompt and informative) to our enquiries from start to finish - excellent customer service. We were delighted with the shower, hot, consistent and water not getting outside of shower area - just what you need in the morning! The location for us was so good for exploring Canterbury - parked up the car and explored on foot with the exception of a drive to Whitstable and Herne Bay. We had a great night in Houdini’s Magic Bar ….. so different and highly recommended (blew us away). The people we met … all very welcoming and helpful.

For us two ( both fit mature older adults) personally, nothing. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

The property was deceptively spacious inside, very well maintained and clean, with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. The location was superb, with easy access to Canterbury city centre and road networks. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for a family visit and in an ideal location, just a minute from the main (pedestrian) street in Canterbury. Free parking in the city centre is a major bonus! The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. Rachel was very helpful and was quick to respond to any questions or problems. Highly recommended.

It was all good

Location was very central, the house was in an attractive street, just a short walk from the High Street. The house was very clean and well equipped and it was good to have the free parking. We especially liked the video we were sent to help with finding the car parking space. It was helpful to have a downstairs toilet as well as the bathroom upstairs.

The blinds in the bedrooms let in the light - blackout blinds would have been better - or curtains to make the place feel more cosy. There was also noise from people walking/ driving down the road and the path at the side of the house.

A nice cosy house with all the facilities you could need. Very nicely decorated and appointed. Very helpful person to let us in when we arrived. Free parking on site and immediately behind the house. Great central location for exploring Canterbury.

Convenient location for central Canterbury. Clean and comfy. Good hosts who gave excellent directions and instructions.

Only one bathroom. Power cut in the night meant the alarm went off and was hard to silence.

The property was very clean, short walking distance to the shops, parks, cathedral and theatre. Very convenient that the property offers free parking.

In need of some maintenance to some walls in the property. Being near the alleyway can be a little noisy in the evenings.

This property is so perfectly located, clean, comfortable & inviting! The host is so friendly and can't help you enough with anything and everything! Honestly really made our girls weekend away! Will be returning for sure!

The location was amazing,only used the car once to visit other places outside Canterbury, because everything was only a short walk 🙂

There was nothing to dislike,my only thing I would suggest is getting a couple of more garden chairs as there was only two,and a slightly bigger out side table.

Excellent location. Didn't have to use the car at all for the duration of the stay. High street 5 mins walk with choice of restaurants. Green space just round the corner.

Location fab for the city centre. Free on site parking. Excellent communication with owner. A video of directions was very helpful. Lovely little house which was spotless. Almost home from home. Would recommend.

A small point but the bath plug does not fit well which means the water drains a bit making a soak difficult. Also the sealant could be replaced. Nothing major. Couldn't find a teapot. I drink a lot of tea! The water is VERY hard so a filter jug would be lovely! I.e perfect.
