Great place to stay! Spacious and close to everything! Only recommendations are to avoid trash pickup right near the entrance as it was extremely odorous, supply coffee, and replace bathroom mats.

The house is great with every possible amenity.

From the last minute booking to the overall property, everything was top notch! The home was spacious and beautiful. The location was an easy walk to Main Street. The game room and propane fire pit were added bonuses for us. We would highly recommended this property to everyone.

Love, love, love Abenstern. This property is close to everything - its in a quiet, lovely neighborhood and most importantly walkable - within a few blocks you are on Main Street visiting the many shops, museums, galleries and eateries, while still "coming back home" to relax, play games and hang out in an open concept home easily accommodating large groups. The yard is amazing - during our stay we were able to adore blue bonnets and other Texas native plants about to bloom. I loved how the house was recessed back - and after a long day, you are greeted with a Hill Country courtyard and outdoor patio (which was too cold for us this time - but will definitely plan to enjoy in a future visit). The bedrooms were huge, beds comfy, it truly is a home away from home. Our family loved the game room - foosball, ping pong, and shuffleboard. Every day ended with playing the games as a family and such wonderful memories were created! The check in was easy and we were warmly greeted via text by the owner. Highly recommend a visit if you want to have that feeling of a true vacation home.

This beautiful home has it all! My family and I stayed for 5 nights over the New Year and so enjoyed everything about it. Very spacious, nicely decorated, EXTREMELY well stocked, very comfortable king size beds, w/ super nice linens. A huge game room. A REAL TREAT!! Instructions were very thorough and both the owner and the management company were very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

What a great home with lots of space. Comfy beds and the garage gameroom brought lots of laughs. Close walk to Main Street and The Rockbox Theater. Will definitely rent again.

Very clean, spacious and cozy. Close to Main Street shops and plenty of gaming options to stay in too. Our kids loved playing in the garage. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. Even a crockpot which helped with our thanksgiving feast. Only two minor cons - the beds are high for short kiddos and elders. And the TV in the common could not download our favorite streaming apps. But they do have Netflix installed.

The house was absolutely beautiful! The rooms are spacious and the furniture well cared for, all looks new. The game room garage was a huge hit! Kitchen is stocked with anything you could need. Very close to downtown. We will definitely be back again and stay here!

The house was a great, welcoming gathering place for adult family with a game room to occupy the kids. Perfect get away for the weekend!

We were so happy staying here!! Someone put a lot of thought and consideration into the details of this rental! The rooms were well laid out, clean, and nicely decorated. My bedroom had a tower fan to use at night! The kitchen was amazing! Fully stocked, had all the little things from home that you'd want, and the coffee cups were big!! We spent our evenings playing pool, air hockey, and shuffle board in the game room :) There were also washers/dryers in this rental so that was a nice surprise! Would absolutely stay here again!!

Our stay at Abendstern could not have been any better. The house has a wonderful set up for couples or even a girl trip. It was clean and well equipped for those who would like to eat in. There were no issues with our accommodations. I would definitely rent this location again and would recommend it to friends.

Abendstern is a wonderful home to rent. The appliances and accoutrements in the kitchen are top of the line making it easy to cook when you want to hang out at the house. Even though there are many things to do in Fredericksberg, this home has many entertainment spaces indoors and out - the game room in the garage has multiple games, a very comfortable living room, a spacious kitchen and dining area, then also has several seating / visiting areas outside. It was a little too cool for us to enjoy the outdoor visiting areas, but they were very inviting. The master suite is massive and very comfortable. The other 3 bedrooms are spacious. All of the beds are extremely comfortable. We loved our stay at Abendstern and highly recommend this lovely home!

It was the perfect setting to meet our friends and spend time enjoying what Fredericksburg has to offer. The close proximity to downtown was perfect. The outdoor space was great for having charcuterie and wine in the evening. This house exceeded our expectations.

The Abendstern home was perfect for our girls trip. As one other reviewer commented, pictures do not do it justice. Super clean, great location, roomy, cozy and beautiful outdoor spaces as well! Highly recommend.

This was the best house we have ever stayed in in Fredericksburg. We were on a Moms weekend with 8 ladies, and every room was seriously so comfortable and welcoming. The house was immaculate, walking distance to downtown, and really well laid out for a group our size. Every person slept so amazing in the comfortable beds, and the owners truly thought of everything you might need. We will definitely be back to this house.

This house had everything we needed and more! The beds were amazingly comfortable as were the towels. The house was spotless and had all the supplies you would need. The garage/game room was enjoyed by all. We can't wait to come back again and stay in this home. It couldn't have been better!!

Home is beautiful and conveniently located close to Main Street. For those times when you want to take a break from running around, there is a lot to keep you entertained at the home. There are a lot of nice little extras at the home, my personal favorite was the towel warmer which was nice on that freezing cold morning. The outdoor fire pit and pavilion (we didn't have time to use) were also nice touches to have. Would definitely stay here again, the owners were very easy to work with.

This property looks better in person than even what you see on the photos. The home was very well equipped, in a great location, spacious, provides plenty of games/activities and has very comfortable beds! I would highly recommend this property!

3 other couples joined us for a few days in Fredericksburg and booked the Abendstern. What a great pick as the place is perfect for a get away. Close to downtown and quite neighborhood. The facility is top shelf and all the amenities one could ask for. We will return for sure.
