Overall the stay was above what I expected, with 4 good size bedrooms so there was plenty of room for the whole family. Two bathrooms was very handy when additional family came to visit. The fenced back and front yard was great for our two little dogs to run around when it wasn't raining. The laundry / washing facilities made it so easy to wash and dry our clothes during the rainy days. The location was excellent with a cafe across the road and the main shopping centre only a 15 minute walk.

Just a suggestion the gate at the rear of the property has quiet large spacing which our little puppy was able to fit through. Maybe adding some wire so future guest furry friends are safe and secure.

Only negative comment was the bins were full in the back yard, other than that perfect.

From the moment you open the front door and walk inside the Ambrose on Byng, the ambiance is similar to a hot mellow smooth coffee. Delightful, and perfect. The boutique B&B also had a garden that our fur baby enjoyed romping around.

The house was a classic bungalow type, with beautiful hardwood floors, nice bathrooms and a good kitchen equipped with all necessary equipment. The beds were of good quality, and the central heating was nice for nippy evenings in July. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to everything in Orange CBD, and 15 minutes by car to any winery, lookout point, historic venues or other destinations of interest around Orange

There was a blockage in the dishwasher from previous guests but we sorted out that problem by washing up manually - which is not a big deal

The Ambrose on Byng was exactly as described. A clean, comfortable home away from home that was close to all that Orange has to offer. I would highly recommend this house for the discerning traveller.

Beautiful house, great bedding, full function kitchen with everything you need. Very clean and well looked after. Heating was great on a very cold night. Backyard was great for our small dog. We will definitely book again next time we visit.

Great location, comfortable bed, everything worked and a large living area. And our dog was very settled there.

The weather was terrible with gale force winds and even snow. The front door blew open twice during extreme wind gusts and we needed to deadlock the front door to secure it. The back door had gaps around it so there was a draught of cold air, but we turned up the heater to compensate.

Location was excellent. Hosts left the light on, heating turned on as we were arriving later in the evening. Very comfortable and excellent furnishing and facilities. Very thoughtful in the kitchen with facilities.

Could have given a few more specific information about how the house functions eg separating rubbish out and where the bins were located.
