We really enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Watch Bed & Breakfast! Not only did we sleep soundly & had lovely different gourmet breakfasts each morning, but we also watched whales breaching and blowing different mornings, and a pair of eagles to watch in a nearby tree! John was an amazing host…lovely place; delicious food; wonderful sleep! We will definitely come back to stay again!

Property is a special place. Quiet beautiful view of Auke Bay. John has the property filled with thoughtful touches. He went above and beyond to help us with our frozen fish. We also really enjoyed his cookies and breakfasts and S’mores at night. Everything is clean and well maintained. We would love to return.

John’s property is everything that was described in the reviews. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning and getting to know John was a wonderful experience. John is very knowledgeable about the Juneau area and we enjoyed getting to know him. We will recommend his Bed and Breakfast to everyone. Thank you John for your wonderful hospitality and we all enjoyed our conversations with you. If we ever go back to Juneau we wouldn’t stay any where else.

Both bedrooms have an incredible view of the bay. Birds and the soothing sound of the waves are the background sounds from the patio, while you decide which time of day offers the most breathtaking view. John catered to our group and we enjoyed his property immensely. Breakfast the next morning was the topper and we wished we didn’t have to leave. If we ever return to Juneau for more than a day trip his listing will be the first I investigate, and we’d plan our activities around it’s availability for booking as anywhere else will surely be a disappointment.

Amazing location on Auke Bay with beautiful views of the harbour. The place was immaculate and John was an amazing host. Our every need was cartered to and he was a wealth of information about Juneau and Alaska. He even served as our guide to the Hatchery and picked us up at the airport as we arrived after the car rental was closed. Cant recommend Eagles Watch highly enough.

Location is outstanding-you are literally right in front of ocean. Views are incredible and the actual living space is very well thought out and comfortable

I visited Alaska with my significant other . We were looking for a romantic setting and this location was perfect. The unit is the bottom floor of a 2 level house with living area, 2 bed/2 baths and has washer/dryer/dishwasher/full refrigerator/microwave/airfryer/Keurig coffee maker. The unit is listed as a bed and breakfast, but we didn't use the breakfast part of it. George was a gracious host. He let us have our privacy. The unit looks out over Auke Bay and has chairs with a gas fire pit under a covered deck. It rained most of the weekend which I I understands is common weather for Juneau. We stayed dry and warm under the deck. The blinds in the rooms allowed us to sleep in. Perfect location if you want to be close to town, but want to see the more beautiful part of Juneau. Highest recommendations for this VRBO listing.

John's place is lovely and he was so helpful. We will stay with him again if we are back in Juneau!

If we could give 10 stars we would! John was the most amazing and gracious host - from working with our ever changing schedule, picking up one of us from the airport and helping him get settled, to spending quality time with us. The property is amazing, eagles to watch all day. The tide movements, and the peaceful area will make you start looking for your own home in Juneau. But the cookies - excellent and plentiful. Then there is the daily breakfast - prepare for a level of awesome every morning! You will enjoy it. All the amenities are there for you and you will not regret the visit. We are blessed to have met John and had a week of his company! We will return!

The place had a view post card worthy. The porch with the little fire pit made winding down in the evening easy. The owner is an amazing cook and host. Each breakfast for our picky group was innovatively delicious. John George shared with us his Alaskan adventures and was a true ambassador for all things Juneau Alaska. His place and his personal touch made our trip that much more perfect.

John the host is attentive, affable and informative. He prepares excellent and tasty breakfasts. Also fully supplies you with S'mores for the small pit fire outside and an "endless" oatmeal cookies. Definitely staying again on next trip to Juneau

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. It is well represented by the pictures and description. We were a close drive to many of the places we wanted to see. John is an amazing host. His breakfasts are second to none and his homemade cookies are legendary.! John knows so much about the area and was so helpful in answering any questions we had. No question, we would definitely stay here again.

John’s bnb is the real bed and breakfast experience you’ll rarely get! We wish we could stay for long enough to exhaust his breakfast menus. The house sits on the oceanfront with hawks nest view. During the day, it’s even possible that whale could come swim in the water within eyesore of the deck. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are clean. We’ve enjoyed the 3 night stay in Juneau and would definitely like to come back to this place and hear more stories from John.

The Eagles Watch B&B was simply awesome. John could not have been a more gracious host from picking our group of 6 up at the airport (at midnight and in 2 shifts), then taking us to Mendenhall Glacier and downtown Juneau the next day to catch up to our NCL cruise. He made us feel very welcome and appreciated thus making our Juneau adventure so great! I would highly, highly recommend staying here with such an incredible view, clean accommodations, awesome breakfast and truly amazing host! I will certainly look forward to staying there again!!

John was very welcoming and his cookies are the best ever! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the beds are cozy and warm. We loved sitting outside and watching the eagles from our patio. Thank you John!!

Our host John was above and beyond a gracious, kind and attentive host. He provided clear instructions for check in. He bet us outside and helped us with our bags. He gave us a tour of the space, which was immaculate. He had the most delicious cookies set out for us and kept the plate replenished throughout the trip. He inquired about our food preferences and made the most delightful breakfasts. I mean full breakfasts with just the right amount of food. We enjoyed him so much he joined us for s’mores and chatting one evening. He made our trip restful and delightful. His location is nestled amount trees with a perfect view of the water. It was conveniently located to everything we needed. I will only stay with John on future trips to Juneau

Bald eagles welcomed us upon arrival, view was perfect, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. John certainly made us feel like very special guests.

We had a wonderful experience. John anticipated all of our needs. The breakfast and cookies were out of this world. The walkout lower level is perfect for 2 couples traveling. The two bedrooms are separated by the living room, with additional sleeping space. I would highly recommend this rental

We make a trip to Juneau every summer to fish. This year we were unable to get into one of our regular spots , and we found John’s B&B. This has become our favorite place to stay in Juneau, and we will absolutely return. John makes amazing breakfasts and you will definitely not be disappointed. He also made sure there were s’mores and drinkable treats for the kids. Everything was first class from check in to check out. There were five of us and it was very comfortable for everybody.

Our stay was awesome. The view from the rental is amazing. The house was extremely clean, well stocked with snacks, bedding, laundry supplies, towels and delicious homemade cookies. Our host made us the most delicious breakfasts. Our host was a gentleman in every sense of the word. Very nice and very receptive to meeting our needs. I would like to point out that the house does not have beach access. There is beach access down the road and not too far. Also, I was charged taxes that I was not aware of when I made my reservations. The host did text me and inform me that I would have to pay taxes at or prior to checkout. According to the host it is the responsibility of the owner to notify the renters concerning taxes. I think that's ridiculous, and feel that all costs should have been charged when making the reservation. We stayed at another rental during out visit and we did not incur any extra charges. Even though I had issues with being billed for taxes at checkout, I still highly recommend the Eagles Watch Ocean Front rental.

The location was great. We could get just about anywhere in 10-15 minutes. The place is quiet and clean and the breakfasts were AWESOME! As were the cookies every day! John was super easy to work with and he accommodated our late check-in. On our last evening he provided us with muffins for breakfast the next day as we were leaving at 3:30am. Eagles are everywhere and often sat in the tree above us. We took advantage of the covered patio and fire pit every day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing place and location! Uncle John was a great host and chef! Knowledge of the area, impeccable and unprecedented historian!!! It was an incredible bed and breakfast experience! And we were so lucky to have him be accessible at any moment we requested! Fire pit, patio, eagles everywhere! Do not think twice, book it!

The accommodations were great-two separated bedrooms and two excellent baths. With three days of wet/muddy hiking, we greatly appreciated the large washer and dryer. The patio with fire pit and chairs is covered, so we were able to spend the long evenings outdoors enjoying the view of Auden Bay. One evening there were 9 bald eagles on the beach below the house and an immature eagle settled into the tree adjacent to where we were sitting. Breakfasts were great as well-thanks John! Wonderful host. We will be back!
