The location was perfect for us-leaving for the airport the next morning. Very nice Italian restaurant walking distance from the house. The area felt very safe. Our kids came earlier than check in time and were allowed to leave their luggage in the room. We also arrived earlier and left our luggage in our room. The host was very responsive and called a taxi early in the morning for us.

Maria is a very welcoming host, speaks good English and helped me to get an Uber to the airport. This is a very comfortable, quiet and hospitable place. A great place to stay near the airport.

it’s wonderful character

The location was good. The neighborhood was quiet and felt secure.

The room could use an upgrade as it didn’t seem as nice as portrayed online. A fresh paint job and some new linens and towels would be appreciated. We felt the host could have given us a bit more attention when we arrived so that we understood the protocols for the property.

The loft room we were given wasn’t shown in the photos. The bathroom was a makeshift bathroom with no privacy door. I tripped over a roof support whilst walking to the bathroom in the night. The air conditioning was broken.

We prefer natural products for breakfast in Costa Rica such as natural fruit juice or smoothie, but other values compensated that. We rate the place and the host high. Thanks for the welcoming

Size of the bed.

The bed was really comfortable! Also the decoration in the house was cute.

The accommodation is really simple and for that a little pricey. The Sofa hat big gross stains on it. We were really disappointed by the breakfast. It was not good at all, just a plain white bread and some scrambled eggs and some fruit. The Coffee wasn’t good at all, we couldn’t even drink it. We were wondering why people were writing such good reviews for it. We just stayed one night but wouldn’t come back again.

- Checkin was cumbersome (had to wait 20min before host was there). We did not receive any message until one hour before arrival (when we didn’t have WiFi) - The room was completely different from the pictures, it was an attic with a low ceiling and a shower that wasn’t functioning well (hardly any warm water)
