This cabin was exactly as described and just what we expected. The property, while a bit muddy, was beautiful and quiet and peaceful. The inside had everything we needed and it really felt like home as opposed to just a rental. Communication was awesome and we couldn’t have asked for more.

We had so much fun and such a relaxing time at John & Gina’s cabin. Cannot think of a thing we needed, plenty of land to explore and a beautiful, picturesque cabin. It was a bit chilly when we were there and the hosts were thoughtful enough to have a fire going already when we arrived. Can’t wait to come back.

Spent time with my family for 3 nights. Host was quick to respond to any issues or questions that arose. Cabin was clean and cozy. Property is spacious and secluded. We will be back!!

There was tons to do. The wood burning stove was my favorite. Our kids loves the loft and game room. We all enjoyed hiking the property. We skied at Bristol. That was about 20 minutes away. One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever seen. Made us all very happy to stay there. Nostalgic feels. They were kind, had us fully stocked on wood. Tons of space inside and every window had incredible views. I would bring extra blankets next time. Loved the kitchen and cozy leather chair. Will most likely stay in summer to kayak. I’m so happy it was affordable. Thank you!

This cabin is really in the woods! Not a bad thing if you really want to get away but it is quite far from shopping and dining options. The cabin was pristine and the sleeping accommodations more than enough for our small family. It is small, quaint and very well proportioned. It has only one bathroom, which may be an issue for bigger parties. Communication with the owner was really good. He even came to show us how to open the main door and how to use the wood stove. We definitely would recommend this property if you're considering the area.

When arriving on the property, the owner was there, with another canine, and proceeded to stay on the property to apparently cut wood!!! After driving for more then 2 hours, we did not need a hour long chat session, but apparently that was "part of the deal". We wanted to unpack and get comfortable, not spend time talking about the property. That was the first problem. After he finally left we were able to unpack. Unfortunetely we were there for 4 1/2 days, which by no one's fault rained all day and night Saturday. The yard was a total mudpit. The whole property was a mudpit. Walking to the vehicles was like being at the Rooney Fest, nothing but mud. The worst part of the stay, and I should have realized it before I booked this property, was there is a washer and dryer there, but the guests are not allowed to use it!!!! Unreal. This was the 5th house we stayed at this year, only one with no access to a washing machine. Then the owner had the odasity to write and see he had to spend time cleaning some mud off a pillow!!!! He didn't clean anything, the washer did the work, the washer we were not entitled to use! Thank god we brought enough clothes for the weekend. The cabin is very isolated, the road leading to it, kinda scary. Very unkempt properties line the road, to the point you want to keep the windows locked at night. Enjoy!!

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin. Kids absolutely loved the game room outside. Beautiful views of the stars at night. Owners were very helpful getting us settled in.

Great cabin in the woods. Great escape from the world. House fully stocked with the essentials. John, the home owner was available as needed. Lots of hiking trails and woods in the area.

The lodge itself was good. Nice open main floor, beautiful kitchen and anything you would possibly need to prepare any meal (save the food, of course). What earns this place 5 stars is the property. Had a huge, open yard with a few trees that take you down to the pond. There are horseshoes, corn hole, a playground and fire pit all close to the house. Then further down the property there are beautiful, well maintained trails that wrap around the property with cool views, wild flowers and birds and butterflies. The game room is cool too. The pool table is older and not level, but we weren't there to hustle at the billiards. Have already recommended this place to some friends and hope to come back again to enjoy the peaceful, serene and well kept grounds that make this rental unique and amazing.

A nice escape, tucked away. My family and friends stayed, kids 10 and 12. If you like the outdoors, it’s a good place. Trails, a pond, fire pit, game room all spaced out, which we liked cause it gave everyone some space and lots of room to roam. A nice deck we enjoyed relaxing on and having coffee on in the morning. Plenty of accommodations for sleeping. Place is well kept. Kitchen was stocked. Just remember to bring zip lock bags and/or Tupperware. We ventured out to Bottom Sand Park for some swimming. Short drive with life guard on duty. Also did some fishing near by.

This house and property are gorgeous. It was perfect for our family of four for a mini-vacation. The kids loved the pond and game room - would love to go back!
