The hotel location and size of the room were great! The breakfast was good.

The room was not cleaned properly. I shared pictures with the Asst GM. At check-in, I was told by the agent, I couldn't pay for my room/tax with cash only the snacks from the Market Place.

The quality of the room was unimpressive— the coffee pot was missing and the space felt cramped. Also, the person who checked me in was not very pleasant .

The property location was fine.

Challenges with the cleanliness of the room. I travel to MI for business and my stay is typically a week at a time. I stayed here last week and the experience was not a good one. I returned the following week and had to cut my stay short and rebook at a nearby hotel. When we checked into my room (420) the floor was sticky. I was not terribly disappointed by that but immediately upon inspecting the room I noticed there were no pots in the kitchen, only lids. Only 1 remote control but 2 televisions. Again, not a major setback but the final straw for me was this morning. I went to iron my dress shirt for work and the iron leaked of rusty water leaving rust stains all over my shirt. Housekeeping does a poor job with room cleaning services. They seem to “spot clean” and attempt to touch only areas where they think the previous guest used prior. That’s my assumption. I don’t care about the missing pots or 1 remote, but My shirt is ruined. When I add these all up and reflect on my previous visit I can no longer continue to visit this location. The cleaning staff is to blame. I expressed my issue with my previous visit which was mainly surrounding the room’s sanitary readiness and functionality but this seems to be a pattern I cannot continue. I don’t make it a habit of complaining but this is unexceptional. When I travel on business and have to stay in hotels I choose places that are safe, comfortable, and clean and I’m willing to pay for that but if I’m going to pay your rates there are some things I shouldn’t have to compromise on. When I voiced my concerns from my last visit just a week ago the manager emailed me and said she could not do anything to make my next visit better because I booked through a 3rd party. Yet I am staying at your facility. Makes no sense.
