Property management was great. Attended to our needs promptly; they followed up, overall was great. For the price, you couldn’t ask for more. Clean, met our needs, beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, water was hot; pool was nice to have with kids, you do share the pool with duplex underneath. Area of house was great. Easy walk to beach. Was able to cook with everything needed they had stocked. Fridgerator nice, clean, and big.

We stayed here several years ago and have always checked it's availability when planning subsequent beach trips, and we got lucky this time! Neighborhood could not be more quiet, you're on the beach in 3.4 minutes, and truly nothing beats having your own pool in that lovely grassy back yard with a great view of some nice live oaks - the pups enjoyed being as lazy as we did.

The location of this property is excellent! Unfortunately there were a few things that could have made our stay more welcoming. There was black MOLD growing in the bathrooms. Most of the air vents were rusted and there were no exhaust fans in the unit to draw out shower steam or in the kitchen area when cooking. I probably won’t be staying here again due to the mold and rust. This property has great potential if it were managed a little more closely.

We loved this cottage! It was very close to the beach! It is pet friendly! And the pool was wonderful! We used the grill to cook! I really was an exceptional vacation and we look forward to coming back next year!!❤️

We decided to extend our stay at the last minute this past trip, so we were moved to Seaside Cottage 2. Absolutely LOVED it! Did not want to leave! It's a beautiful property, huge and plenty of room for all of your guests. It's a couple streets back from the ocean, but still oceanview, and the area is very quiet/residential. The pool is a great size and is in the backyard. It was closed for the season when we were there in December, but I imagine it's beautiful when open during the regular season. We also love working with RMB, Jeanne is amazing! We will 1000% be back and can't wait!

Water pressure is bad if 2 people take a shower at the same time it is real bad. Wi-fi is bad, does not reach the back bedrooms. It would not be a problem except you need wi-fi to watch TV. TV, you should have cable. The free Roku stinks and even if you bring your own you can't watch local or live TV. I bought a FUBO subscription to get through the week. Need a rug at each entrance to wipe feet. You wash your feet outside but have to walk through sand to get to the steps. Sand in the house, you need a better vacuum then the $12.99 Walmart special to pickup sand. On the plus side the beds were good the AC unit was strong and did not hear much noise from the renters below.

We have been renting the same place for a few years but this one was a nice step up in convenience. There is a beautiful fenced in back yard, easy to take the dogs out. The inside has lots of bedrooms and very comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms which is nice when you have three or more guests. The walk to the beach was easy and there was a convenience store in walking distance for any last minute needs. The surrounding area was quiet and people in the neighborhood were friendly.

It is a well maintained property, could be updated in some areas but for the cost per week was very worth it. From the initial contact with Retreat Myrtle Beach, through check in & check out, the process was flawless. Great room sizes, plenty of room within the living room and kitchen areas, property was neat & clean, had a problem and maintenance was "johnny on the spot", which was amazing, as most require a 24hr notice...Location to the beach area was perfect, within walking distance to ice cream shop, restaurants, bars & retail shops. This was our 1st time to stay here and we've already booked the entire house for next year. Our new HAPPY PLACE.

We had friends who stayed here before so we knew what to expect. The location is great in a nice little neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach and a few bars/shops/ice cream. The beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms centrally located. I would not call the kitchen well equipped - knives were dull and the 2 can openers didn’t work among other little details. Otherwise it served its purpose. We had a challenge at times with the TV and learned how to use from the downstairs neighbors. Instructions would be helpful. It was near the end of the season so things might have disappeared over time. The front deck is a nice place to hangout in the evening. The private pool is a great plus. There are trees overhead so leaves are a daily occurrence, but there is a skimmer and it’s fun to do when you’re in the pool. The rental company was very efficient and helpful. The linen service worked well. I would stay here again. Miss the beach!

The bedroom accommodations were nice. We had 9 that slept comfortably. The main living space was small for 9 guests. We had a short walk to the beach which was great. The house lacks closet space and needs some upgrades in the living/kitchen spaces to make it more appealing. Upon arrival, we noticed sand and unswept floors under the furniture, but very visible. Guests are asked to sweep up before leaving or be charged. However, you pay a cleaning fee for a reason. I expect quests to "tidy" up and get rid of trash before leaving, but the cleaning crew that we pay for needs to do a better job. Overall our stay was pleasant and the swimming pool is secluded by trees and a very nice place to relax.

Everything was nice, however the first few days the pool was green and being treated, would have been nice to be communicated that upon check in and had some other type of accommodation since we were not able to use the pool for 25% of the stay , would also be nice to have better communication post check out. I understand the rules about sand and how there will be added cleaning fees but no communication on the outside shower not working a couple days , we take pride in leaving it cleaner than we had it turned over to us so that confirmation would be nice plus there is money involved

The communication was really really great the manager and other staff very helpful and accommodating making sure we could find everything and I really appreciate it that the only downfall was the pest control guy came the spray while we were packing out.

The cottage was fairly clean .upon my check in there was a big Cock roach dead in the hallway ..On my second Day my daughter saw and kill another cockroach on the table..My last day on check out there was a few in some soiled food containers that waste waiting to be thrown out.. Long story short the Cottage has roaches and also pool wasn't open and it was very warm

Everything was good we really enjoy our stay clean place ,beach 1 block away excellent ,pet friendly kids love the pool (I would suggest a outside light for the pool area) place have everything we need we will come back for sure very soon!!!
