The house was perfect for our group of friends. There are many nearby places to eat. The pool is amazing.

Can’t say enough good things about this rental. First of all, the communication was excellent. The owner responded often in under 10 minutes to questions I had leading up to the stay. And while there the manager Kimberly was amazing. Very helpful tips about excursions or food etc and when had minor issues she responded immediately. We essentially lived on the back patio and for good reason. Awesome pool that was cleaned regularly. Great beach and so pleasantly surprised the sandy ocean floor. Nice privacy with surrounding fence. Kitchen well stocked and especially appreciate plenty of containers for leftovers. Would highly recommend meals either at Maya Beach Bistro or, my favorite, Mickeys. Able to walk to both. For excursions Glover’s Reef is a must do if you love to snorkel but really any boat trip well worth it. Lunch at King Lewys island was super fun. Just the best two weeks and would highly recommend.

The property is as listed, but so much more. It is situated beautifully on the Maya Beach, and nicely set back from the beach for complete privacy. The amenities are great, the location is within walking distance to great restaurants and we felt immediately at home. Wendy and Pat have provided great information on local attractions and have a super efficient Property Manager who was available when needed. This Property ticks all the boxes for a warm, relaxing holiday away in a beautiful country that has many natural beauties to offer.

This is an amazing house in an ideal location. It's right on the beach and right next to the best restaurant in Placencia - The Maya Beach Bistro - which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen in the house has everything you could need if you want to cook and there is a washer and dryer which also came in handy. Another plus is that the water out of the tap is filtered so there is no need to buy bottled water. Our weather was not ideal otherwise we would have been in the pool every day. The owner was great to communicate with as was the house manager upon our arrival. One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning downstairs. You can open up both sets of sliding doors going out to the pool area during the day but in the evening it can be quite warm because the doors need to be closed to keep out the bugs. Other than that it could not have been better!

My kids are in their early 20's and the oldest is married, buying Christmas gifts isn't as easy as a trip to Walmart anymore. We needed something special, something that they'd always remember. This was the trip! This was the house! Belize has the kind of adventures you could only find in an Indiana Jones movie. We swam under waterfalls, saw jungle plane crashes, even toured a Mayan underworld of rituals and found the remains of skeletons that were 1,000 years old. At the end of every adventure we we glad to be "home" in the lap of luxury. The house, pool, beach, water was all perfect. We brought in a chef a couple nights and ate BBQ Lobster at our own dining room table. Several other evening we visited beautiful resort restuarants as they welcomed the general public even if we weren't staying at their resort! Our home was quiet, had a great location, and was comfortable when it was hot outside as well as in the cooler rainy days. We highly recommend Affairs to Remember as your next getaway. We loved it!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Proximity to the beach and private pool. We were greeted by our host Jack with a welcome drink, who arranged for a private day tour of the Cayes, private chef for dinner and house keeping. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing! A consideration for anyone traveling in the month of September, at the tail end of our stay many of the resorts were closing for end of season, which limited our options for restaurants.

This property is absolutely beautiful! Wendy was amazing and answered any questions promptly. We will definitely be back! There's an amazing restaurant next door and grocery stores within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa! We enjoyed all aspects of it - from sitting outside on the adirondack chairs having coffee and watching the sunrise to swimming in the pool and paddle boarding right off the beach in front of the property. Also - the property manager was a wonderful resource for info, events, etc. Highly recommended!
