This is a very well kept and clean property. The description and pictures are accurate, unlike many places you see online.

Only had one night to spend here, but the space was very comfortable & quiet, and located in easy proximity to downtown. Communication & responsiveness were proactive & fast. Would have loved to stay longer!

While in Bozeman to see a football game and visit my daughter we picked this gem of a location. Clean, quiet, well located to downtown and MSU.

Note: To submit this review, I have to star rank. Giving the benefit of the doubt on specifics, but what I describe below is what leads me to my overall rating. I'd like to say I enjoyed Travis' place in Bozeman, and I'm sure I would have, but we never made it. We were supposed to drop our son off for school, but due to some health issues, he had to defer until January. When we booked, I knew the policy, but didn't have a lot of options for the weekend. I'd requested 4 weeks before our stay to rebook for later, or get a partial refund on the place, but was pointed to their strict no refund policy. While I understand why a homeowner would have a strict policy, there are life circumstances that happen unexpectedly and suggest a more humane approach. Given it was move in weekend at MSU, I'd think the likelihood of rebooking would be high. I would have appreciated even a partial refund, but instead I paid full fees for no services rendered. Future renters should know that if emergencies happen, there will be no leniency with Travis.

Great little spot close to all the goodness that Bozeman has to offer

This was our second stay at Bridger's Shadow (moving our son into student housing for year 2 at MSU). It was very hot during our stay (highs 97-98 degrees), and we were a bit worried about the lack of AC, but the apartment stayed nice and cool throughout. Location is terrific - quiet neighborhood, walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. Apartment is clean and comfortable. It is super handy to have washer/dryer available, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We hadn't remembered the noise from above, but it is pretty noticeable whenever the upstairs people are home/awake. Wasn't a problem for us during nighttime hours, but if we had wanted to sleep during the day it might have been an issue.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay here was excellent. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all the necessities for cooking at home & the property owners were responsive to questions. We’d stay here again for sure.

Very comfortable and clean updated basement apartment. Was perfect as a couple and super close to everything downtown and or shopping. Would for sure stay again!

Place was immaculate! 2 bedrooms and large livingroom kitchen area. Has a washer, dryer, TV. Beds were so comfortable I havent slept that well in a long time. Communication with Travis was excellent. Very close to the University, restaurants and Main St. Came with coffee, coffee pot and lots of tea, which we had every night. I would stay here again if I'm in Bozeman. Thank you Travis!

This rental manages to be cozy and spacious at the same time. The furnishing are very nice. The amenities are high quality and well stocked. The owner is super chill and helpful. I could not be more please with this property - I just wish I could stay longer!

We came to Bozeman to visit our daughter who attends MSU. While the property has a good location, it is a basement dwelling beneath noisy neighbors. We could hear them snoring through the ceiling, and any little movement was amplified from below. We also experienced the first night with a cell phone buzzing with reminders from 3am on. The smell of the place reminded us of college bachelor pads, and it was difficult to get over that smell. The pans were dirty, so we had to wash them by hand. Compared to other places we have stayed, the kitchen was stocked at a bare minimum, so it was disappointing to not have what we are accustomed to (cooking oil, seasoning, etc).

We were in Bozeman visiting our son who is attending college there. This basement apartment was a terrific spot for us - clean, quiet, nice location. Check-in and check-out was easy. Would highly recommend!

We were happy with the property. We would have liked to have a toaster, but used the broiler. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Basement apartment, it was very hot no air conditioning. No place to sit outside, you were just stuck inside no deck, patio not even a lawn. Need window treatments on bedroom windows very bright in the early morning. The bathroom shower rod kept falling down and I texted the manager on the number given at check-in but got no response . We have stayed in VRBOs in and out of the country. This was okay not great.

Other than a little noise from the upstairs unit the apartment was as advertised. It's clean, modern, and sterile. It was efficient but not welcoming. No warm touches and lots of rules. It's well located, not far from Main Street, in a nice quiet neighborhood.

There was a lack of cooking supplies to cook or bake meals. There was a lock capped to 72 degrees on the Nest thermostat and we all felt cold during our visit despite Bozeman temps remaining fairly warm and even at max setting of 72 it never felt warm.

We had a great time at this Vrbo property. It was very clean.

My wife and I really enjoyed the home. The location is easy walking distance to downtown Bozeman.

We have a daughter in Bozeman so have made many trips to visit her over the years and know the town pretty well. The location was absolutely awesome - we could walk to downtown in about ten minutes and to the Co-op, Red Tractor and Starbucks in about five. Parking was on-site and our host was easy to reach, responsive and amenable. The basement apartment looked recently refinished and had plenty of room for the two of us and our daughter when she came by. The regular-sized stove, refrigerator and microwave worked fine. Checking in and out was super easy too. We had a nice stay!
