I loved that you got sun beds included. The master bedroom was large.

How we were made to feel like children with final inspectionss and such strict instructions of floors to be swept and rubbish to be removed. I thought the cleaners could have swept floors and the rubbish could have been removed by them. Felt like packing up after a camping trip rather than a beach resort.

Santa Maria de Castellabate was just beautiful; the place, the buildings, the people, the food, the beaches, the sea life; can't say enough good about it. We were very fortunate to have stayed in Residenza Fontanelle-Beach Resort, which was a very lovely low key resort on the beach. Our two bed appartment was perfect for us - a simple rustic style that had everyting we needed and was spotless; with good aircon and comfortable beds etc (the bunk bed room could be slightly comfier roomier - but that's a minor thing) and a lovely terrace and view out to sea. It was such a luxury to have one's own umbrella and seating on the glorious beach outfront which encouraged me down for more visits/swims than I might have had given the heat. I have to give a special mention to Karin who ran the resort - she was the most attentive and most practical host of a property we have rented that i've ever come across - good tailored advice on every thing from transport to timings to restaurants and excursions; Genaro was also a true gentleman. Highly recommend!

The location was great and access to beach was a bonus

The mattress in main room was really uncomfortable. We thought it was really odd to ask us to tidy up and gather all the laundry when we had paid a 65 euro fee for cleaning. We paid extra to have a later check out do we could use the beach an shower before leaving. However the water want working when we wanted showers.

Excellent location and the apartment is just brilliant!Apart from a washing machine,you got everything what you need,with absolute comfort!

The WiFi was poor,but even this wasn’t a problem;at least the phones and tablets were put aside!
