Property owner was wonderful to work with on our reservation. The loft was used as a bridal suite for hair & makeup prior to arriving at the wedding venue. The loft was beautiful and spacious enough for the hair & makeup team to work; the bride/bridesmaids had enough room to relax & spend time together.

This was the cleanest vrbo I have stayed in. The kitchen was perfect for what I needed. Everything was as the pictures stated but prettier and bigger.

I really enjoyed this loft apartment. Everything was extremely clean and well placed. My host was great with communication though at the time, the app wasn't accessible at all. Had a little trouble with that but he was great about texting. Had I saved his name and number, I would have been able to get his messages in real time instead of them Going into my spam list but he was great.. If you are looking for something with great style, plenty of space, splendid decor, and you like being in walking distance to some great places to eat, this is the place. Very well done.

Condo is beautifully designed and captures the feel of the 2nd Ave Loft District. We enjoyed our long stay and getting to know many of the great restaurants in the neighborhood. Would definitely want to stay here again on a return trip to Birmingham.

The beds are comfortable, bathrooms and space are excellent. Location is incredible. Host had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Host had wonderful communication.

Great property in a great location- easy walk to restaurants, bars and grocery. Very open, light and bright with great views. The nearby trains add a great ambiance and are not a bother. The "Rail Yard Loft" is amazing! This is a fantastic reno with massive character and charm, and ALL the amenities and technology of a modern condominium. The old warehouse windows and extremely high ceilings light up the entire place with natural light, and offer some incredible views of Birmingham - all the way up to Vulcan. It's clean and fresh, with the most comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on, and everything works great - water pressure, air conditioning, black-out curtains, etc. And it's location on Morris Ave is perfect - walking distance to everything downtown, gelato ice cream right across the street, and limitless parking! Michael, the owner, was very nice, easy to work with, and will return your call or text within minutes. THANKS MICHAEL!!

Amazing how quickly you can get from this property all the way over to Mtn Brook and Inverness. Plus such a cool interior space.

This loft was close to restaurants and centrally located. It was clean and everything was well labeled and easy to find. The beds were comfortable. Had to get used to the sliding doors but other then that we loved it. Very spacious and modern inside. Big windows and I liked watching the trains. There weren’t any train whistles at night so it wasn’t bothersome. Will stay here again!

We enjoyed the loft! It was very nicely decorated. Close to lots of activities and dining. We appreciated the little extras-water bottles, towels, soap. Would stay here again!

What a great loft space! There are so many thoughtful touches, like coffee, creamer, and extra kitchen supplies. We loved the layout and view of the trains (which are very quiet) outside of the large windows that let in plenty of sunlight. We will definitely return on our next visit to Birmingham!

What an amazing place to stay in Bham!! Everything about this place is first class. We had an great time and didn’t want to leave. Walking distance to so much. And the trains outside were an amazing bonus- not noisy and so cool to watch.

Enjoyed our short stay in this gorgeous and immaculate loft! Incredible taste in decor and super comfortable mattress. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the Birmingham area.

The location is located two blocks from very nice restaurants and bars. Very convenient. We only stayed one night but wish we had more time. The place is well-appointed and it is obvious a lot of thought and care have gone into making this a very nice place to stay for guests. Attention has been given to the smallest detail. There are detailed instructions for everything around the apartment. Cabinets are labeled with contents. Extra things like vintage camera equipment, old magazines in Mylar protective sleeves, and a 2nd edition Webster’s dictionary make the place even more interesting as you relax and enjoy the place. We walked to an Italian restaurant and had a great dinner before leaving for an early morning flight. This place has the wow factor. Would highly recommend to others as an option to stay.

We were in town for one night only and needed a place to relax after a very long and difficult day. The loft was perfect. Very open, great industrial view of the city, and relaxing. I loved the artwork which reflected the surrounding area and selection of historical books. Very clean and functional with more than everything you need for a stay. Even though you are right by the railroad it was not disruptive and noise was minimal. We actually enjoyed the hum of the train and watching them run. Instructions were very thorough. Actually, overwhelmingly thorough. There was a lot of information. I would recommend a start to finish checklist in a single email, then the check up emails. The check in process has several steps and is a little confusing (after a long travel day) but understandable given the security of the building and parking. We really wished we had more time to enjoy the Loft and will add it to our list of great places to stay when in the area. 100% recommend.

The property was very modern and very well done. It was very clean. It was also in a great location!

My boyfriend and I came to Birmingham to attend a concert and explore the city. We wanted to try something different than a typical hotel, and this was it. This loft was everything entailed in the description and more. We truly appreciated that Michael took the time to label everything, so nothing was left to be misunderstood. When we return to Birmingham, we will definitely consider staying here again.

We were in Birmingham for the Mercedes Benz marathon. We found the property very convenient to the race activities as well as to restaurants, the zoo and other downtown sites. The unit was well furnished and very clean. The trains were a bit noisy at night but we live on very quiet acreage and aren’t used to “city noises”. It was a most enjoyable stay.

Read the fine print!!!! Be aware that you'll have to share your ID with someone you do not know! You will be notified of this policy last minute. Of course, there are penalties if you try to cancel. I was notified the night before check in that I have to text/email my driver's license with the owner. The owner called me reminding me of the " house rules" . Raising his voice to make a point seems to be the "modus operandi" . The interaction was not polished to say the least. The property was great, however. It was as described and as you see it in the pictures. Place was very clean and extremely well organized. Beautiful apartment.

The loft was amazing and looked exactly like the photos. It was very well decorated and super clean. The location was great for dining and walking downtown and its not far from the airport.

Great place. I would stay there again in the future whenever I am in the area again.
