Beautiful combination of old Victorian charm and wonderful modern appliances! First one awake? make the coffee, grab your book and settle into the front porch couch. My favorite spot to watch the storms roll in or families at the playground. Easy walk to the beach or downtown for dinner. We loved everything about this home. Thanks for sharing it with us.

We had a group of 8 and had plenty of room. The kitchen is really well stocked for cooking and baking. So close to the beach. Walked to town in less than 15 minutes. Would definitely book again!

The location was super! The house was beautiful. Our entire family loved this and thought it eas one of the best vacations yet. The beaches, the play place, the neighborhood and everything was super.

Very nice cottage and great location

Our crew of 10 had a ton of fun and lots of space. Loved the main floor master bedroom with attached bathroom and huge storage closet. Park and beach access are amazing. No fire pit but we bought a portable one and sat in park away from house to enjoy an evening fire and that was really nice. Safe, clean and fun. Highly recommend!!!

The home was perfect for our large family gathering. Very close to the beach and the playground is in your backyard. The kitchen had everything needed for fixing meals. The grill and patio were very nice. The owners were awesome to work with and responded quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent location. Easy walking distance to the beach. Upstairs air conditioning was mediocre. Upstairs shower was not useable. 7 people was about the max, even though there are 12 beds. Hosts were extremely responsive.

Wonderful fall weekend family trip to South Haven. The house had everything we needed and the location next to the park and beach was perfect for young children. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was a great location to stay with young kids. We often had the playground to ourselves. The beach was a short walk and the home came with sand toys!

Nice home and all the necessities you need. Owner was very accomodating!! The fact that it backs up to the park makes it quiet at night and the view of the lake is a plus. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!!

This property was perfect for 3 generations. There was something for everyone. We made good use of the park for the kids, did art projects, watched movies together, spent hours at the beach, walked into town, watched sunsets with the neighbors, and cooked together—especially blueberry pancakes we never have time to make. We made memories and have photos to prove it. The place was even better than advertised. We were comfortable and impressed with the cleanliness, the thoughtful design, and the amenities provided. We would recommend this to others and even heard from friends who had enjoyed the house they recognized from our photos. Kathy and Fred stayed in touch with us. Thanks!!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property on Lake Michigan! The house was spotless - I mean not even a speck of sand - how is that possible?? It was fully equipped with everything we needed for our large family of 7 to stay and room for more people next time! The owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The location was perfect - A VERY short walk to the beach! We cannot wait to be able to book this property again!

How good was it? We’ve already decided we want to stay there again next year. Spacious, clean, great areas indoors and on patio and even in front yard. A 5-minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to walk to downtown South Haven’s bars, restaurants and shops. This is our eighth year coming to South Haven — and the best experience our family has had. This property was the main reason.

This house brought our family so much joy on our multi-generational vacation! The kids loved having a playground in the backyard and the beach was so easy to access! The neighborhood was lovely and we enjoyed walks while checking out all the beautiful flowers! The town center was quite crowded when we were there for 4th of July, but it quieted down afterward, so parking was easier to do local activities. The house is delightfully quirky with an old section and a newer section. There is a gorgeous master bedroom and twin room easily accessible on the first floor with two full bathrooms. The upstairs is more vintage, with quirky windows and beds that delighted the kids. They did have some issues getting to sleep because there weren't window coverings on all of the windows and the sun didn't set til 9:30. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, but we grilled outside every night. There are two beach carts and many beach chairs to take to the beach. We left behind a beach umbrella too. So you've got everything you need here for a nice family vacation!

We had a great time at this house. Our kids loved that the park was outside the door. I think we spent more time at the park then the beach! The beach was a short walk. We LOVED walking to see the sunsets each night. Great house and location!

We had a wonderful stay at Kids Corner! Even though the weather was not the best the view was awesome! The house was lovely and perfect for our family gathering. The house came equipped with all your essentials and then some ! We can't wait to go back :)

the house was fine except where as the fifth bedroom? I slept on an air mattress on the front porch, i did not want to put out my family. wish we would have known that the house was under a bit of construction. tell the cleaning people to not turn down the fridge before guests arrive. yard was nice - we used the side yard. the fenced off area did not get any breeze so we sat outside that area. the pirate room could have had some full size twin beds - did not realize they were so small - but the room was cute the bar room upstairs was charming - bathrooms very clean - the stairs going upstairs need to be refinished and a new bannister on the one side - the location to the beach was perfect - 2 minutes and you were there and that was fantastic

We loved staying at the cottage in Kids Corner. Very clean and the owner's were so helpful and friendly. The home is very well equiped with everything you need. We spent a day horseback riding just 15 minutes from the cottage and a day charter boat fishing. The beach was very clean and so close to walk to. The park was great for the kids who came to visit also. We would definitely recommend to stay here and hope stay stay again in the future!

We had a great week in this awesome cottage. We had kids and grandkids coming and going on different days that week. We had plenty of room for everyone. Of course my husband and I claimed the downstairs master bedroom, which by the way is a beautiful room with attached bath. We loved the outdoor private grilling patio and spent a lot of time there. Great for early morning coffee in your pj's. All of the rooms are large and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and well supplied. Only thing I was missing was a couple of large skillets. It takes a lot of eggs to make scrambled eggs for a big crowd. I got by using 3 smaller skillets. The older grandkids loved the upstairs bar room and spent a lot of time there. The beach supplies on the front porch were plentiful and provided many hours of enjoyment for everyone. There were even fresh flowers waiting for us. We highly recommend this property to everyone. We hope to return next year.

We went in the fall initially to check out the property, location, & beach before committing to rent for a week. That was 4 years ago. It is the most incredible place to have a family vacation. The location is ideal. It is walking distance to downtown, next door to a park, a block from the beach and 5 blocks from the lighthouse. There is plenty of space to sleep but it also has a bistro area with a grill, a table and chairs in the front yard, and a screened in front porch. Every year we come, the owners have updated or added to the house. The kitchen has any small appliance you can think of, plenty of counter space and counter chairs for added dining space. The dining room table is huge with a high chair for a little one. The beach is incredibly clean and sandy...no small rocks or pebbles and only about 25 steps to get down to the water. The owner is always available if a question arises and always helpful. We were here August 2015 and had the best time ever.

We stayed at the Cottage in Kids Corner with our children and their families last June. The location was ideal for our 8 adults and 4 toddlers. With the park literally in the back yard, and the beach across the street, it was easy for our grown children to take the little ones out for short periods of time between naps and meals. Downtown shops and restaurants were also just a short walk or quick bike ride away. The house was well suited for our four families to spread out, and the owners a pleasure to work with.

Our family chose this cottage mainly because of the location, and it was a great choice. Kid's Corner was right outside our door, and the lake was just a short walk from there. The owners have thought of everything. A beautiful master bedroom with master bath on the first floor, and upstairs a pirate room for the kids loaded with toys. There was plenty of room for all twelve of us, and the bedding and towels were all high quality. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bonus was the wagon to take to the beach with plenty of chairs for all of us, as well as a large bag full of beach toys. There was even a stroller and high chair for the baby. This cottage is a great choice for families! It was well furnished for our group of grandparents, children, and grandchildren. The owners were very easy to work with, too. All in all it was a great vacation.
