Very nice cabin with great woodworking and stonework. Everything you will need to enjoy your stay has been included in the cabin. The back porch view is absolutely amazing! Very close to many wonderful locations and attractions. Tony and Nancy were great hosts and will be able to help you with any activities or sites you might want to see. Just a few that we really enjoyed: Walking around Cherokee, Elk Herd @ Oconaluftee, Barber Orchid, Waynesville, Maggie Valley and of course the Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery! Great cabin, great time in the area. Highly recommend to others

Captain Tony was very attentive. The property was super clean and cozy. My wife and I along with our pup stayed for three nights while visiting friends in Waynesville. The views from the property are spectacular and the location is secluded. I loved the location, but I would caution those without four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles. We have a pickup and had no issues, but it could be tricky for a rear wheel drive only vehicle. All in all a great trip!

Captain Tony, property manager, is amazing! Went out of his way to make sure my handicapped husband had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Beautiful views! Beautiful accommodations! Our host actually repaired our flat tire. He took control and put our worries to rest. We couldn’t ask for a better host. On a scale of 1 to ten we give it an 11.

Property is immaculate and the views from the porch are amazing. The owners are very nice with great recommendations on adventures available in the area. We visit the Maggie Valley area several times a year and they told us about nearby areas that we never knew about. Will definitely be staying there again. Location is great for heading to Cherokee, NC or the opposite way to Maggie Valley/ Waynesville. Also, cabin is right by Blue Ridge Parkway entrance.

Qualla Cabin is a short distance from a highway, yet a world apart from every day. The property has miles of views, yet no homes or roads spoil the view. All one can see is trees, sky, and birds. The sunsets are amazing; the privacy is perfection. The cabin is new, with modern appliances and amenities, yet homey and warm. Captain Tony and Nancy will feel like friends you've known for years. Come get away from the hustle and bustle and recharge your soul.

Cabin was beautiful and so clean. Views are excellent, dogs lived the back yard. Lots of wildlife, saw Elk, bears, turkey and tons of birds. Very centrally located and the hosts Tony & Nancy were so great! Thanks fir the memories

Qualla Cabin may just rank as one of the most beautiful and serene vacation cabins available. The view from the large porch surrounded by birdsong and hummingbirds enhances the tranquil setting. The rockers added to the ambiance. The rustic decor of the cabin’s interior is a reminder of the location up in the mountains. It is perfectly appointed for 2 guests, and even a dog! The hosts are very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to go and things to do. Tony and Nancy are present if needed but do not interfere with your own time. My little dog enjoyed exploring and felt she owned the place after our 2 week stay. The location is away from the busy-ness of Maggie Valley, while convenient to its businesses and restaurants. The location is just a daytrip away from most of western North Carolina’s varied attractions.

STOP LOOKING AT OTHER VRBOs this place is perfect. The photos do not do it justice!!! Fantastic hosts (Captain Tony & Nancy) communication was fast and in-depth and both were extremely friendly. Sophie and Merlyn (furry babies) were delightful. The cabin is spotlessly clean, well equipped everything you will need. The views are out of this world, mountains, trees and sunsets!!!! Peaceful with nothing but the sounds of nature to listen to. The home is soundproofed so you don’t hear a thing when you are indoors. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!

We loved our stay at Qualla Cabin, with it's great view of the Plott Balsam mountain range. The sunsets were spectacular (and we hear the sunrises are, too, but the bed was so comfy, we slept too late to see them😉)! We appreciated how close the cabin is to the parkway and the GSMNP, which we drove through nearly every day, and that it also is an easy drive to Waynesville and Bryson City, and very close to Cherokee, though we didn't spend any time there. We have been in the Maggie Valley area several times but visited the Deep Creek area near Bryson City and did the waterfall hikes this visit, which we enjoyed a lot. While we went all over the park, the Deep Creek area was far less populated on the trails near the Road to Nowhere. The location is also an easy drive to Asheville...we made an enjoyable day trip to visit friends. Owner Tony's restaurant recs were great. We especially enjoyed the Sweet Onion and Pappas and Beer in Waynesville Tony and Nancy are good humans who genuinely care about the quality of your stay. Their passion for hospitality is evidenced by the warm, cosy, attentively decorated studio space you'll be staying in...small but well laid out, great for two people and carefully designed to maximize comfort. Wild turkey and other birds were abundant and the weather was perfect for us. Felt like the ideal time of year to be there. Thanks, Tony and Nancy!

This is one our best VRBO stays and our first visit to the area. Qualla cabin was immaculate and centrally located to all areas of interest. Easy drive to Great Smokey Mtn. National Park, Waynesville, Gatlinburg and Blue Ridge Parkway. We greatly enjoyed watching evening sunsets while sitting on the porch. Views of the mountains from the porch are magnificent. Capt. Tony and wife, Nancy, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They provided superb recommendations on places to visit. Thank you, Capt. Tony and Nancy for making our stay so enjoyable. Every aspect of this property & it’s hosts was exceptional! The mountain views from the porch were breathtaking & each day they were uniquely different. We had a great stay. The place was very nicely furnished and impeccably clean. The host was very friendly and clearly cared about the quality of his place and our experience. The view from the rocking chairs on the deck was amazing.

Great space to capture the area. Pay attention to driving instructions. Coffee on the back porch has never been so magnificent with the view and setting of the home. Easy access to Smokys, Gatlinburg, Tail and Cataloochi. Location allows a short drive to any of your favorites.

This is the most well maintained and the coziest “home” we’ve ever stayed in. Tony and Nancy are absolutely a joy as property managers to talk to and rent from. The cabin is spectacular in every way. We have been going to the Smokies for over 50 years. We have camped, stayed in motels, and rented cabins. This was by far the most well-thought out, comfortable, convenient place we have ever stayed. And we could take our pet! The views from the porch were stunning, and Capt Tony a perfect host!

Friends, I can not begin to tell you how perfect the stay at Qualla Cabin was for me and my girlfriend this past weekend! Capt. Tony and Nancy are incredible hosts and even better people! The cabin itself was immaculate! Quite possibly the cleanest and most comfortable place either of us have ever stayed at! As others have reviewed, the pictures do no justice for the incredible views you’ll have from your porch, nor all the friendly little critters that will share the yard with you! Location wise, they are pretty much central to anything and everything you would want to do while vacationing in the mountains. This truly is a “little piece of Heaven” for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a beautiful and peaceful environment. Who knows there may even be an impromptu guitar singalong on the porch!
