Love this island and love this house!!

Loved the covered hammock on the deck overviewing the valley - even saw the snow-capped mountains one morning! Plenty of room to stretch out, read, savor a glass of wine, and BBQ!

For the price after fees and taxes I expected the place to be top notch. It's was just ok. Shower wasn't great most everything worked and the beds were comfortable but price was way above what we thought it should be for the property. All the dishes needed to be washed prior to using them. They actually got put away with food stuck to them.

Enjoyed my 4 days here - I was allowed to check in early,(thankfully) I would and will recommend to family and friends! LOVED the Hot Tub!

My adult children loved the house , quiet, decent kitchen, not perfect but would consider renting again . There were some issues but not a deal breaker. Nice deck with a hammock, little coffee table and chairs.

Inside was good. Dishwasher didn't work so that was disappointing. Outside landscape was a little rough, but all in all was what we were looking for on our weekend getaway

The open floor layout, the mud room, the patio, the views, and the hot tub made this place feel big, bright, and happy.

This house had everything you need for a quick island getaway with a hot tub as an added bonus. Private, quiet, and access to the public path to walk down to Deer Harbor.

Plenty of space for our family of 5 and the bedrooms both had comfortable beds. The setting is quiet and pretty. The kitchen supplies need an upgrade - there are 6 dinner forks total, there is no coffeemaker (there is a Keurig but we had no pods and only one was provided), the one non-stick pan was losing its coating etc... The heat from the wood stove kept us cozy all weekend, and the hot tub is a fun feature.

The house overall is a good rental in a very child friendly location with a great BBQ restaurant just outside. We would recommend the house.

The one glaring issue is the water. I have a high tolerance for sub-par tap water, but this water taste really bad.

This property is very overpriced for what you get. It is very run down and filthy. We were unable to get into the building, and with no cell service, it was very difficult to get ahold of someone to remedy the situation. An hour later, once we entered the building, it was filthy. The floors were dirty, the carpets not vacuumed, there was dog food on the floor in the kitchen. Nothing was dusted, there were cobwebs noted all along the ceiling. Light fixtures didn't work, you had to squeeze through the door to the master bedroom because the right side of the French doors was sealed shut. The bathroom was dirty as well. There were stains on several towels that were provided, there were holes in the shower liner. There was other people's forgotten clothes under the bed. Yuck! With no cell service and spotty internet, it was very difficult to get ahold of anyone. Overall, this place is very run down, not clean and we were unable to have a nice and relaxing vacation. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This property shares grounds with several other properties yet still provided us with a sense of privacy with a cozy fireplace and relaxing hot tub. It was the offseason and Covid so most surrounding businesses were closed, but there were still hikes near by and a short drive away from Eastsound. If what you are looking for is a relaxing getaway I would highly recommend this cabin.

It is attached to a private residence, but there is a lot of open space, the kitchen is updated and beautiful, and had the hot water worked when we got there, I imagine the bathtub would have been really enjoyable. We had some issues with the tank and so that was not possible. But the owners and the managers at Vacasa were there as soon as they could be to try and help and left some champagne for us as a little gift for the trouble! The hot tub is super nice and it's in a great location for some people watching. The views are phenomenal, and WOW. It is super quiet up there at night. I cannot wait to go back to Orcas again.

We paid for COVID cleaning and it was just dirty and no hot water. Also does specify that you’re renting a duplex not a house like you anticipate

If you're looking to get away to a nice quiet place, Orcas Island sure is a fantastic place to go. This property is a great start if you're flexible with some small oddities here are there. I think if Vacasa had someone on their staff stay at this location for a few days, they'd quickly see some of the areas that need improvements. Again, they're small, but when you're spending (for us) a lot of money to stay somewhere, they do add up. Examples include:- missing lightbulb in the bedroom lamp- several issues with a few of the doors (not closing properly or getting stuck when opening)- ice maker in the freezer seemed to have malfunctioned prior to our arrival. We didn't need it beyond freezing our ice packsThere are more little things, but despite these we still had a lovely time away. Some of the great things about this property:- even though the jets in the hot tub didn't work, it was still awesome having a nice relaxing soak at the end of the day. Loved this feature!- the beds were very comfortable!- all of us in our family enjoyed time spent relaxing in the hammock- the little gas fireplace kicks out a lot of heat which made for a nice cozy evening.Overall, it was great and we had a fantastic time. With a little investment from the owners to smooth out the rough edges, this property is a real winner.

Deer Harbor is a quiet beautiful setting. It’s pitch black outside and no cellphone service so when the lock box didn’t have a key to open the door my husband wasn’t very happy. Luckily the nearby inn had a land line so I could make a phone call. The backup key is a very good idea. We enjoyed our stay in Deer Harbor!

Ryan was very responsive. Hot tub was solid. Some things could be ironed out in the house, but all in all a good experience.

We stayed at this home for a week to spend our summer vacation. Location of the house is amazing, very easy access to Dear Harbor. The views from the patio are great - we spend most of our mornings/evenings having breakfast/dinner with a beautiful view - the hammock is also a bonus!
While you are chilling out in the hottub, you'll get to see deers walking around, which is a beautiful sight :)

There were some minor inconveniences and we promptly got help from the support team who exceeded our expectations.
