Lovely old building in a central location. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Alfredo. We stayed in a spacious room with 2 very comfortable beds, good air con and fan and a walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was also spacious and had a great shower. Good quality bed sheets and towels. The room was serviced every day and was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed staying there.

Only thing missing was a hairdryer!

Esta en una excelente ubicación cerca de los lugares principales de Guadalajara, a 2 cuadras de la Catedral. El personal siempre amable. Y la comida riquísima. Sin duda regresaría.

Bed is nice size (King). Kind and accommodating staff. Central location, hence walkable to all nearby historic attractions.

We stayed in two rooms. First room right above the entrance had a barn door style window facing the adjacent alley. It was a bigger room with natural light. Unfortunately, street noise was so loud that it felt like you were sleeping outside so we asked for room change after one night. The second room was towards the back of the property. Though it did not suffer from street noise issues, it turned out one can hear guests and service staff very well which at times was almost equally disrupting to a good night’s sleep. To sum up: Acoustics. Noise carries and you can hear either street, other guests or staff. It’s bad enough to disturb peaceful sleep. Though centrally located, the immediate neighborhood just isn’t very attractive due to noise, grime, and night time safety concerns. Better to stay in Americana neighborhood, and take a quick cab to the historic center.

In Room coffee is only provided on first night. You have to buy it at front desk. l would suggest providing one per night stayed.

Excellent location close to the Basilica and Dos Templos. Easy to walk everywhere and close to metro and bus lines. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant downstairs was very good. Air conditioning worked, but I didn't need it. Good water pressure for a nice hot shower. It's on a busy pedestrian street, but hotel is quiet inside. I extended my stay because it is a perfect location!

One review mentioned security was not good. I found the opposite. I was greeted in person every time I arrived back to the hotel, often by more than one staff person. And two large wooden doors are closed overnight. It is a safe and well maintained hotel.

Location is very very central. One of the staffs who seemed to be a manager was very nice and friendly.

The non-MXN card I used to make the booking was debited before check in, although the booking confirmation said I would pay "at the hotel".

I loved it! It's our second time staying at this hotel, and we'll keep coming back to it. The staff goes out of their way to help us out. Alma is great and one of the receptionists from swing shift (shame on me, but I can't remember her name). Thank you for your service. The beds are super comfortable, and the cleanness of the room is outstanding 👏🏼 👏🏼 100% recommend!

It is right in the heart of Downtown Guadalajara. It is nice to walk out of the hotel and enjoy the "plaza" atmosphere

I liked the historic aspect and the architecture of this beautiful building. Also, the concierge, Victor, was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner and was so accommodating when we wanted to leave some bags after we checked out, so that we could sight see a while before leaving the city. The entire staff was wonderful.

Only the lack of a hair dryer and some Kleenex in the bathroom. Otherwise it was very good.
