This was our second time to stay in this unit. The owner has been super responsive both times. This is a true ski-in/out unit. It is the perfect set up for 2 families with young children. We love the ski lockers for all of our equipment and apparel.

Location, location! Love the proximity to the hill! Appliances were nice, and the main floor layout very accommodating. Lots of bathrooms was great. The fireplace was great too and the firewood nice. A couple suggestions- the downstairs bathroom shower head wants to point to the corner, and the shower stall was a little funky, not sure if it was really cleaned well. The sheets in the downstairs bed didn't smell very clean and fresh, not sure about the upstairs sheets. The recliners in the main room are comfortable, but don't operate well, and the big reclining couch hits the wall behind it, and is messing up the wall texture just so you know, it was like that when we arrived. We did have the power outage, but that of course wasn't your fault and was actually kind of an adventure. The toilet on the main floor was running unless the handle was giggled. All of these are meant to be constructive criticisms, or stay was actually really nice and we appreciate you sharing it- Chris Dean

The location was great and very close to the lifts. The condo was comfortable for our family; however, the heat was set at 50 degrees when we got there and it took about 5-6 hours for it to warm up to even 60 inside. I understand saving money by turning the heat down, but that seemed a bit extreme since it took so long to warm up. With that said, overall we loved the property and would stay there again.

enjoyed our stay. it is nice to have the kitchen well-stocked, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was a nice amenity. we will be back.

Fantastic vacation property! My family and I stayed the week of thanksgiving and it was wonderful. Exceptionally clean property fully stocked with everything we needed for the week we were there. Rich the property manager was extremely helpful and easy to get ahold of. Will definitely book this property again on future stays. Only complaint was the thermostats were set to below 60 making it very cold in the house when we first got there. Fortunately the heater works well so within a few hours it was warm enough. But in the winter when the outside temperature is in the 20’s it might be nice if the cabin was between 65-70 upon arrival. Other than that It was an excellent stay and even that wasn’t a deal breaker. Would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place in purgatory.

Great location for a mountain bike weekend, short distance to the lift. Made dinner one night and the kitchen was well equipped

This is a great condo in the perfect location. It has everything you might need (even sharp knives in the kitchen!) and is very comfortable. Our family biked and hiked the mountain everyday, and it is an easy drive into Durango. Rich was great to work with as well. We’d definitely come back to ski in the winter!

Great location next to the trails. Our family of 5 were very comfortable in this condo. Anytime of the year this is a great spot!

over all is good for Skiing awesome

This is the third year staying at this property. The location is great but over the years the property has gotten beaten up. You can tell that they just turn and burn the rentals and are not up keeping the property. Bottom of the dish washer was broken, toilet by the kitchen wouldn’t stop running. The place just feels a little run down. We like it here but will probably stay somewhere different next year.

Great location! Was perfect for our group!! Loved the ski storage area, 2 king beds and 3.5 baths! Would definitely stay in this condo again.

It’s a short walk to the village for us non-skiers and the skiers loved being able to ski-in/ski-out! Rich is wonderful to work with and responsive to any issue than might come up. We loved our stay so much we’ve already booked for next ski season!

Love this unit, it has more space than some of the others in Edelweiss and does not feel cramped. Communication with Rich was great! Can’t wait to stay again!

Excellent location slope side for both skiing and Mountain Biking.We’ll appointed kitchen and very responsive Property Manager for small hiccups during stay. Property in excellent condition with room for all to stretch out and enjoy. Couple minute walk down hill to base area where food and beverages were available. Not wanting for anything during our visit. Looking forward to a winter visit !!

The good:The location is fantastic. It’s truly ski in ski out. However, “ski in” can be tough to reach for beginners. There are some moguls to truly reach the property via a trail. That being said it’s still an incredibly short walk to lift 1. The views from the property are pretty stellar. From the dining room you can see the mountains. The back porch offers a limited view of the mountain but there are chairs stowed away in the closet available for hangouts. The skiing accommodations are second to none. There are boot dryers, a sitting bench, a rack for coats, cubbies for gloves etc. and a storage area for skis and boards. You’re only a few minutes walk to the village center.The bad:Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired here. The owner had a known mouse problem and did not inform me prior to arrival. We found out our first night by actually catching one in the living room. We also found bird seed chewed up in one of the beds and pillow cases. After doing some research online it turns out this is usually due to rodents. Once I informed the owner of the issue the response was inadequate. No offer to resolve the issue in any capacity. The owner said they are aware and that they caught a few mice prior to our arrival and that “I guess it’s time to involve the professionals.”The bed sheets in one of the rooms was not cleaned. It had a sour smell. Several pots, pans and cooking utensils were dirty. The owner did not provide enough toilet paper for the whole house. Each bathroom got one extra roll regardless of the number of nights booked. We had to purchase extra rolls for our 4 night stay with 6 people. The owner also did not provide any tissue papers at all. There were holders for tissue boxes but they were all empty. Overall:There’s a lot of bad that could be corrected but the owner was not straight about issues with the property or resolving the issues. We still had fun but it’s not a place I’d recommend.

Excellent location to the lifts! Kitchen very well stocked, comfortable bed, and lots of games!

Property was great, true ski in ski out access to Purgatory Resort. Condo was clean and had all the amenities you need for a successful ski trip.

First time to Purgatory & throughly enjoyed skiing. The Condo was perfectly positioned right off slopes. We were able to pop in/ out for restroom breaks , snacks , & lunch- couldn’t of been easier. Rich was friendly , helpful , & very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay !!
