All ok, spacious apartment with decent interior.

The best was the location, the cleanliness of the apartment and fully equipped kitchen.

Unfortunately, the apartment doesn't have a balcony nor a terrace, it's also not too big but as it is close to the sea it counteracts theses aspects.

Central location and a lift

The location is one street off the main strip, and unbelievably convenient for the shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment building has a lift, which was very convenient on arrival and departure with suitcases. We hired a car and visited a number of different beaches. The nearest beach is beautiful to look at but there is a warning the water quality may not be that good so we didn't use that one but all the other beaches, especially near the RUI hotels were superb. Definitely worth using one with lifeguards and observing the flags. The lifeguards were very vigilant. Information given to us was spot on and the owners daughter was available via messaging within minutes if anything was needed. We will certainly visit again.

For me, the best way to visit the island is by hiring a car or using the buses. Taxis to other areas can be expensive. There is no dedicated parking but even the local residents just drive around until they find an on-street spot. There is a large off-road parking area near the SPAR Supermarket, which is only a 5-minute walk if you cannot find anywhere. This only happened to us once in the week. Some people may be put off by the local noise. The apartment is so central there is always a background noise, 24 hours, of either people having a great time or local traffic, but we all managed to sleep through it and it didn't spoil our holiday.

The area is generally very loud at night being so close to the town center. Only very few dishes ( 2cups and glasses and several plates) also could have used a dish towel or a trash bag or two, especially if your staying longer than only a few nights - not even a salt shaker.
