Nothing, all was perfect!

Very pleasant, clean, and independent room (has its own entrance and bathroom). The host - Jenny - was very friendly, and the breakfast she served us was lovely. Good value for money and nothing to complain about whatsoever!

Beautiful location, very peaceful. The property and bedroom were stunning. Jenny was lovely. We would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely go again.

It was a beautiful example of the local architecture in sandstone so typical of the Cotswolds.

Jenny and John were very friendly & welcoming, also gave us plenty of info about the local area, places to visit/eat/directions. Stunning surroundings, peaceful garden that we were able to access and view from our room. 10/10! Very relaxing break! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

the bathroom and toilet facilities were on the ground floor which could prove an inconvenience if the toilet is required at night, but providing you are mobile it is not really a problem

The location of this let is outstanding. We were only there for two nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The owners greeted us with open arms even though we were delayed on the M25 and got there a lot later than planned (many apologies). A cold flask of fresh milk and a show round the room and its facilities even though Jenny had to be up early the following day to make breakfast for the other guests. The room was beautifully decorated and the soft furnishings were perfect. It's the little personal touches that made this property such a gem and we will definitely be returning for another stay in the Cotswolds. We ordered breakfast for the second morning of our stay and it was truly outstanding. I am not going to ruin the surprise by telling you all about the numerous items that were included in our brekafast but the hostesses were so attentive to detail it was a delight. Its location in the very small village of Idbury was perfect. Away from the crowds in the local Bouton, Chipping Norton and Stow but close enough to drive in and soak up the hustle and bustle or take in some of the walks in the beautiful rolling landscape of the Cotswolds. Thank you for your hospitality, we will see you again in another season x

We couldn't fault anything apart from only being there for two nights as we would have loved to stay longer but unable to do so due to other Eastet commitments.

Breakfast was lovely and presented nicely in our room. Our room was spotless and very comfortable.

The location was very picturesque and quiet. We were warm and comfortable in the bedroom.

The bathroom was a bit cold during an unusually cold spell of weather in mid-March. The breakfast was filling but starchy - too much bread and pastries. Perhaps a hard boiled egg/muesli instead of some of the pastries would be healthier.

We were unlucky with extremely cold weather which reflected in the temperature in the apartment.

The idyllic location. The kings Head Pub in the neighbouring village was superb . the food was amazing.

There was nothing not to like.

The place was lovely, clean and a 10min drive to Stow on the Wold and Burford. Our host, Jenny, helped us during our stay and suggested nearby pubs that served great food which was much appreciated.

The property is located in a small rural village. It was quiet and afforded beautiful views of the local Cotswolds farming area.

I would recommend The Old School, to anyone who is looking to stay, there wasn't a fault the place was perfect. Jenny was so welcoming upon arrival, showing us around and just going over anything we asked, would definitely be staying here again if we decide to come again !!

Superb place to stay.

the accommodation was very clean, quiet and we liked that there was a huge hall and bathroom downstairs from the bedroom. It felt like we had a huge amount of space. We also liked having breakfast in our room.
