We all had a great time at Ocean Lakes. Our property met all of our expectations and allowed us to focus on our time together. We are already planning the return trip for next year.

The place was everything it said it was! A nice plus was having streaming services for the kids to watch movies at night and a high chair and baby gate was in the closet downstairs!! We had a wonderful time!!

We loved the house which was located on Magnolia Lake in Oceanlakes campground. It was very spacious with lots of porches and great views. The only downfall was the fountains on Magnolia Lake were not working which caused stagnate water. We still enjoyed watching the geese and turtles. Everything we needed was close by. Great location, quiet area, nice view of the lake and convenient site for fishing at the back area of the house. Layout of house is open and welcoming, large kitchen/ dining area. Kitchen well equipped with plenty of cook ware, needs full set of utensils for eight guests. Appreciated two coffee pots, a Keurig and a brew pot. Disappointed with lack of cleanliness of carpeting on stairway and hallway upstairs and ice maker and tv in downstairs bedroom didn't work. Notified owner and was informed these non-working items had only recently been repaired and scheduled again for repair a week after our departure date. All things considered, we enjoyed our family time there.

We had a very nice time with family and friends but the house definitely needs a good overall cleaning. Carpet on stairs and bedrooms needs either replacement or a deep cleaning, lots of stains, also hand rails needs to be washed. Gas grill needs to be looked at, lines were rusted and not working properly. We were very afraid to use it. Mattresses could be replaced in two rooms upstairs, master and end queen room. Middle bedroom had a leak in the ceiling during a heavy rain storm one night which came thru one of the light fixtures near the TV.

The house was great and had everything we needed. Loved the large decks! My son and grandson loved fishing right out of the yard. At end of street so not a lot of traffic. We enjoyed our week, it just passed too quickly!

The house was very nice. If you bring a dog watch out for the goose poop. The only complaint I had was the TV. We could never get the cable in the lower bedroom to work. The ice maker broke while we were there but the owners scheduled a maintenance person to fix it by the end of the week. The two large porches are a wonderful place to hangout at night. All in all it was a great week at the beach.

Location was great - right on the lake. Beautiful. But be prepared for protective, nesting geese in the yard. And they wake up early!

We had a great time at this rental, the property was clean, check in was easy and Stan - our host - was easy to communicate with. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking our own meals. We had a pet dog with us too - a 2 year old Shih Tzu, who enjoyed the location as well. It was nice being right on the lake, and a short drive to the private beach. The linen package worked out well. All in all just what we needed, a quiet get away for the family - quality downtime together - a much needed pause from the hectic year that 2020 has been.

The new property owner, Stan, hung up on us while we were talking to him about a golf cart that we were promised. We asked that he either provide us with a golfcart as promised by the previous owner or refund us the cost. He told us we could rent one for a certain per day. He should do his homework on the campground where his home is located. The rate is twice as much as he quoted. We also saw several roaches inside the house. We have never seen these when we stayed previously.

This home was perfectly located for everyone in our family to enjoy the view of the lake and the ocean breezes! We enjoyed the space and the amenities! We can’t wait to come back!

Great house overlooking lake; fed the ducks and turtles everyday! Beautiful house, cool layout, great decks off every bedroom! Huge kitchen; had wonderful time!

Never stayed in a home at this price point that failed to provide bed linens, towels, blankets, starter toiletries and a nicely furnished kitchen (the basics -- trash bags, dishwashing soaps, dish towels and decent frying pan). Parking is listed as an amenity, but the only way to get the entry hang-tag is to pre-pay a daily $10 activity fee, per car, whether or not you use them. In January, the only activities available open to renters is the beach and an indoor pool. The location within the campground is quite nice and the house layout is interesting. It is attractively furnished but showing wear, especially in the kitchen. Wished I'd brought a swiffer along with extra blankets. Practically all rental hosts provide a welcome notebook with helpful reminders about the terms of the rental agreement, local information, emergency contacts and restaurant recommendations. None at this location. Overall, this is a good vacation site, but lacking in many of the common courtesies extended to rental guests.

We absolutely loved staying in this quiet home nestled away on the lake. Anything we asked we always received a prompt response!

Large house, great porches, nice view of the pond. Great to have a golf cart. Cart is battery operated. Cart will stop running in about 20 to 30 minutes. The controller over heats. So give it 5 to 10 mins to cool down and it will start again. There is a switch under the front seat that will disengage the gear so you can push it out of the road. Family enjoyed their stay. We loved the location on the dead end street and water on 3 sides of the home. Beautifully decorated throughout. Will be back to stay at this property! Property Manager was very nice.
