Very picturesque area. Close to highways and fun stuff in Austin. Pretty backyard perfect for dogs. Bed was old, lumpy and sagging in the middle. I left with a bad back ache. Parts of the back deck are rotting and pose potential safety risks. There was a power outage on the block and we were unable to watch regular TV news.

Our stay at the cottage exceeded our expectations. All the amenities necessary, comfortable furniture and bed, great kitchen, screened in porch and patio. Quiet, tree filled location in a great neighborhood. Walkable for morning coffee and restaurants.

Everything you need in this adorable cottage in the city. The back patios felt like you were in a treehouse. The screed patio was perfect to enjoy several dinners and the open deck was great to enjoy the sun. The house had everything you needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and organized. Comfortable couch, nice king sized bed and the room stayed dark for sleeping in late. Wish it had basic cable for local channels. Loved the location which was close to downtown, Zilker and the lake. Look forward to visiting again.

It was a quaint bungalow in an older quiet neighborhood. There were a couple of good restaurants about a 10-15 walk. Comfortable screened in back porch.

My Mom and I took a 4 day trip to Austin and booked the cottage for our getaway. The homes location is ideal. The back patio/porch area is what makes this home worth staying in. The bathroom is clean but the rest of the house was not up to par. The kitchen was not clean. Food was found on floor and around stove area and pet hair on the floor, rug and couch in the living room. Seeing as though you pay a hefty cleaning fee, it was not what was expected and was disappointing to say the least. There was a pool of water under the veggies and fruits drawers in the refrigerator that was discovered almost immediately. Spent time cleaning that up so we could load the drawers with food. The toiletries you have in the home is all you’ll receive so bring your own paper towels and toilet paper. The handle on toilet in the bathroom broke on second use. We tightened the bolt and all was well but aggravating since it was found after the water issue in the fridge. So within 45 minutes of walking through the front we cleaned the food in kitchen area, soaked up this pool of water in the fridge and fixed their toilet handle. Luckily it wasn’t anything major. The second bedroom/office has no privacy. No curtains on the glass doors leading from the dining area or from the porch area. The main bedroom doesn’t have a way to turn the light in without pulling the string from the fan which does NOT have an extender on it so you must climb on top of the bed to pull the tiny string to turn the light on. There was a foul smell by the front door which seemed to be coming from the garden area. Although the location was great and the back patio was amazing, overall I’d say the devil is in the details and they missed the mark for us.

The Clarksville Cottage was lovely. Perfect location, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed.

Another great stay at Clarksivlle Cottage. We love that we can walk to the West Lynn restaurants or stay at the house and enjoy the screened-in back porch.

The place was wonderful. We’ll equipped, appointed, and clean. Easy in and out and nicely furnished. Nice, quiet street. Everything in one charming cottage.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was even better than expected. This area is our favorite place to stay in Austin because it’s so central to anything you want to do. On top of that, the neighborhood itself is very walkable (a little up & down, but nothing major!) the home was well stocked and it’s decor embraced the musical history of Austin. We definitely look forward to staying here again whenever it’s available!

The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was perfect for two people. We liked the outdoor areas in the back. The location is also excellent being downtown, but in neighborhood close to some great restaurants.

This was our second time staying here, and we really enjoyed our stay. This cottage is very clean and comfortable. The screened back porch, open sun deck with lounge chairs, and fire pit in the back are added bonuses. The kitchen also has all the basics that you need. It’s located in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants and a grocery store.

The house was not clean and had visible dust on all surfaces, even though Vacasa said we couldn't check-in early since it was being cleaned. The property is not advertised correctly since it's next door to a health clinic. The kitchen door does not have an adequate lock and someone left the floor level bedroom window unlocked, which signals a break-in. Vacasa and VRBO was un-responsive or helpful and we had to move to a Marriot the following day since we didn't feel safe in the property. Do NOT book this property. This place ruined our entire anniversary trip...

This house was centrally located but in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. There were great amenities, like the back screened in porch, enough coffee and basic supplies for our stay. Very comfortable and homey!

We loved our time staying in Clarksville - the house was perfectly outfitted and great location. So close to everything. The back patio was a HUGE draw and a private backyard was perfect. When we come back to visit, we will definitely see if this house is available!

We love the Clarksville location--walking distance to so many great restaurants, parks, and hang-outs. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. TV was easy to use. My favorite spaces were outside: a large, screened sunroom with a ceiling fan, two outdoor chaises covered by an umbrella, and a few more chairs around a little fire pit. We had a great stay!

Stayed here with my boyfriend and our dog. The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room of us all. Central to all the nice places and safe

Close to state capital, the bats, and many great restaurants. Comfortable bed, safe neighborhood, great backyard for dogs. Easy check in and out. Nice walking neighborhood. Floors were clean along with counter tops and all touch surfaces. Would have liked to see more of the beautiful hardwood flooring, less throw rugs would have been preferable.

Nice little house; good location; can walk to Galaxy Cafe and other close restaurants. Great screened in porch.

A very nice property, good for 2 people. Excellent location. Very clean. The property manager is stellar. House nicely appointed; kitchen is average. Bedroom is a bit cramped with king bed, which is very comfortable. Very nice deck off of sunroom. Fire pit in back yard. We will come back.

I’ve stayed in quite a few rentals over the years and this has been my favorite. Accurate description, very cute and quiet neighborhood, with comfortable and high quality furniture, bedding and towels (so rare!). Parking was easy with a spot in the driveway and street parking in front of the house. Keyless entry was so convenient and simple to use. Bed was super comfortable, shower was excellent (plenty of room for very tall people). A/C worked very well on a hot weekend. Would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Austin!

Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The screened in porch was our favorite part of the home and where we spent most of our stay. The location is very close to everything we wanted & needed to do while in Austin. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Austin.

Such a wonderful little weekend retreat. The screened in porch is fantastic and where we spent most of our time. The kitchen is well equipped and the house have everything you need. Great location with easy access to downtown and the freeway. Our dog loved it, especially because we could walk to the dog park on the other side of west Lynn every morning.

We love this adorable cottage and wish it was ours! The location is ideal and it was a perfect place to stay for our daughter’s wedding at Chateau Bellevue. We will definitely be back.
