The beach

We had a very disappointing experience recently. Despite having passes in our car, we were charged $276 by security. This is particularly unacceptable because we had already paid for both the apartment and the parking. When we tried to explain the situation to the same security personnel who issued the fine, he was unhelpful.

Location on the beach. Unit was nice size. Each bedroom had its own bathroom.

Was not very clean upon arrival. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I ended up rewashing all the dishes. Something was on the bathroom floor of the toilet closet. I slipped. Had to clean the bathroom floor. Hair on sheets and vanity.

Location was great, loved the views and the condo was very nice.

The only problem we had was the door lock didn't work as expected.

We have been coming to Navarre for years now and Summerwind is definitely our favorite resort to stay at! The 3 pools/hot tubs give you options and all of the condos have great layouts. The maintenance and cleaning staff work diligently to keep the facility immaculate as well! 503 is a lovely unit with a fantastic layout! It was great to have 2 en suites! We also loved the views from the super comfortable furniture that was on the balcony. The TV with streaming options were a nice touch as well! Vacasa was very responsive with our stay as well as any needs while we were there. Most days start with a walk on the beach and end with a walk on the pier where you can watch the surfers or catch a glimpse of a sea turtle 🐢 , dolphin 🐬 , or a shark 🦈. Navarre itself has grown a ton in the past few years, but we still love the occasional trip to Destin or Pensacola (highly recommended the scenic drive) The Twist is a great spot for ice cream in Navarre and we love Merlin’s Pizza, McQuires, Lulu’s, The Back Porch, and the Donut Hole in Destin. Book this vacation, you won’t regret it!!!

There was no breakfast unless we cooked it ourselves, it was very nice.

The price of the Condo, was high.

The condo was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities of home. The view was spectacular!

There was not one thing that we didn't like.

The views of the ocean and the king bed slept good. I liked the ice maker and the filtered water in the refrigerator

The condo was kind of dusty and the decor needed updating. The toilets didn’t flush well and the closet doors didn’t fit securely
