Splendida struttura immersa nel verde provenzale. Ampio giardino con piscina. Camera da poco ristrutturata e ben arredata. Colazione abbondante a base di ottimi prodotti tipici. Vicinanza a magnifici luoghi d'interesse.

Consiglio di aggiungere un paio di asciugami (anche per uso piscina)

Lovely house and pool, charming hostess who is knowledgeable about the local area. Great breakfast

This is an exceptional place! We were given a warm welcome by Betty & Fabien and of course Perry (the gentle dog). We had 2 rooms and shared common space with the 3rd room. There is an extensive kitchen/diner with terrace as well as a large living room with additional dining space downstairs. This, coupled with the huge, beautiful gardens (with petanque, ping-pong, pool) means that there are secluded areas for all guests. The design throughout is thoughtful and stylish, with each of the rooms given their unique personality. Bedlinen and towels are of the highest standards and toiletries are provided. The garden has shaded areas as well as sunny areas - hammocks and sun loungers for quieter days. The plentiful breakfast is taken in dappled shade. Each morning we were offered a different treat of Fabien's baking along with all sorts of local produce. We travelled as a family and so opted to eat in often. The kitchen had everything we needed and we made the most of the BBQ. We chose to pay for a meal in one evening and the meal/wine were excellent. We were welcomed as part of the family and all ate together. Betty has a range of local pottery and gifts available to buy. The property is about a mile out of Valensole which is a lovely little town surrounded by lavender fields. We were lucky enough to see these in full bloom and enjoy the lavender festival in the town. Quite simply, this property is an absolute gem which is beautifully placed to enjoy Provence.

Absolutely nothing. It's worth noting though, that the accommodation is along a small road from the centre of town. Be careful of how your sat nav directs you as it may take you along stone farm tracks ...there's no need, it's easier than that!

If you are in the area to see the lavender fields this is the most centralized spot for the best viewing experience with ease for getting out quickly for sunrise and sunset photos. The breakfast was wonderful throughout our trips, and the centralized kitchen for guests to use was a welcomed change of pace from eating out for every meal. The family was extremely accommodating to help plan a birthday dinner for my husband, and their dog Perry is super friendly and made us feel more 'at home.' The house is located such that the nighttime and morning breeze kept the room cool and comfortable.

I missed the no AC when booking but the reality was it wasn't missed at all based on the airflow the room got in the evening and the fact that we were out or at the pool during the heat of the day. I loved the firmness of the bed but could see that as something that might not be to everyone's enjoyment.

finding the property was not easy. google map and car gps could not exactly locate the place. hosts were nice but too busy.

Everything was just exceptional. It´s not everyday that someone running a business knows exactly what and how to do it. Betty and Fabien are the perfect hosts. On top of it, the company of Monsieur Perry was outstanding.

Simply everything! The hosts have been amazing, super kind and willing to give useful tips about the area. The entire maison is just beautiful and the breakfast incredible. I will be back for sure!
