Clean, comfortable and well maintained condo. Great location in Townsend.

Super clean, super convenient, and super quiet. We really enjoyed opening the doors to the balcony and listening to the sound of the river right outside.

Just as before, the condo was clean and well organized. It is in a great location....just a ten minute ride to the entrance to the Smokies while still near stores and restaurants. The best part is sitting on the patio looking out at the river and listening to the sounds of it and the birds.

Stayed on a major holiday weekend and it was uncrowded, quiet, and peaceful.

Great location, wonderful set up for our family with small kids. There are stairs so be mindful when booking. We brought our own gate for the stairs. Everything was very nice and comfortable for us. The kitchen is well stocked for all you could need to cook a meal. Would definitely book here again one day!

It was our first time visiting Townsend and we were not disappointed. It is a small quiet town that is close enough to everything but far enough away. Drove through Cades Cove twice and saw bears both times! We will definitely stay here again!

The condo is well stocked, clean, comfortable and quiet. The view and sound of the river is the best! The location is great, and it's in walking distance to a couple of eateries and the grocery store. I look forward to going back!

We had a great trip, and the condo was perfect for our family to stay at. It had everything we needed and was so nice to have as a “base camp” for our daily adventures! We will definitely be staying here again!

I really enjoyed my time at Riveredge Condo 208. It is a quiet place, located right on the bank of the river (as its name implies.) I found the rental to be clean, spacious, and comfortable. I was there alone, and I felt completely safe there, day and night. Please note, especially if you are older or have physical issues, there are a several steps to climb . . . getting into the condo there are two flights of stairs, and once inside the condo, the bedrooms and full-baths are upstairs. For me, that wasn't an issue, but it's worth noting. There is a half-bath located downstairs, which is great. The bed and pillows that I used were very comfortable. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The master bedroom also has a deck overlooking the river. If it's warm enough outside, you can leave the sliding glass door open a bit and sleep the sounds of the river. The location of the condo is great. It is just a couple of minutes from the local grocery store and Dollar General. It is very close to the National Park and Cades Cove. It's pretty much situated in the center of Townsend, which means you are close to everything the town has to offer. I love Townsend because it is quiet and peaceful. It is away from the bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, yet still just a short drive from those locations. There are a few updates that could be made in the condo, but all in all, it's a really good place to stay, and I would definitely consider staying there again.

This was a great place for us to stay while making our first trip into the Smokies. We are small town people so appreciated the much slower and quieter pace of Townsend as compared to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We came with no children so weren't too interested in all the attractions that those towns offer. We just wanted to see the National Park and do some hiking. This spot allowed us to do that. The condo was somewhat centrally located to the most popular sites in the park but it's a very big park so there is a fair amount of driving depending on what you want to see. The condo was a little tired looking from the outside but rest assured, the inside is very clean and well taken care of. We very much enjoyed out time there.

The condo served its purpose for cleanliness and location. The bed was extremely uncomfortable but again, it served its purpose.

I came to Townsend so I would be close to the entrance of the park and the selected areas where 20 nationally known invited plein air artists were scheduled to paint. Being an artist myself, this was a perfect getaway: painting some myself, watching the invited artists, volunteering for the Friends of the Smokies, and making new friends. My husband and I have stayed here many times. We love to hear the river from the back balconies and sit with a mug of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at the end of the day. The beds are extremely comfortable and I have no trouble getting a good night's sleep. We plan to return soon to do some hiking.

It was our first time to the GSMNP. A friend suggested we stay in Townsend and we were so happy we did. Our condo was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would book this place again without hesitation.

The condo was perfect! Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bed and furniture. Kitchen has everything you need. The rocking chairs on both balconies are the oerfect touch. Evenings sitting on the balcony watching the river were so relaxing! This would be perfect for two couples, or two adults wanting separatebedrooms, or a small family. The two bedrooms, each with thier own bathroom are both very nice, and then the half bath downstairs is very convenient.

We rented the unit for the Smokys half marathon. We enjoyed being close to town, but still very quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was perfect! Thanks Wendy for letting us stay at your condo on the river. The only suggestion I have is to maybe trim the bushes around the sign. It was hard to see at night.

We love to stay in Townsend away from the large crowds. The condo was very clean and stocked with basic necessities. We would definitely stay here again.
