Spent a wedding weekend with kids and grandchild. Location was perfect, setting was beautiful. Would recommend to anyone.

This may be the best vacation property that I’ve ever rented. It was so beautiful, so clean, so comfortable, and incredibly well stocked with all we needed. The owner even brought us some fresh corn on the cob. Thanks for hosting us!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The house was filled with charm and personality, and stocked with everything we needed (and more!) The floor plan had the perfect mix of privacy and communal space for my group of 5 friends. Window air conditioners kept the temperature very comfortable despite the hot, muggy weather we had. The location is beautiful--remote enough to feel private, but close to town if you need something. There's a lovely lake a short walk away, and we especially appreciated the fire pit in the backyard. We are so glad we stumbled across this place, and hope to come back next year!

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Margaret thinks of everything! The house was immaculate upon arrival, so comfortable and tastefully done. The downstairs bedroom and bath made it so easy for me, with my mobility issues. The master bath is accessible, complete with grab bars and wide entry. A very well stocked kitchen, lovely yard and gracious host made our trip a pleasure. I am looking forward to returning with our entire family.

Absolutely beautiful, clean, cozy home. Well kept property. We were there for only a few days, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hostess made extra efforts to make us feel right at home.

The house was perfect for our group of 8. I wish we had discovered it earlier. The pics didn’t do enough justice to represent how cute this property was. Margaret did a great job with the farmhouse look and feel but with updated furnishings to give the home a cozy vibe. In addition, Margaret was the best. She communicated promptly and to our surprise, left a small gift for our graduate. We’ve already recommended this property to others.

This is a great spot. Every time my friends and I stay, we always have a great time. Everything is clean and working, making it easy to get into the vacation groove.

The place was absolutely charming, comfortable, and extremely well appointed for 6 adults. We attended a wedding in Lakeville and wanted to be together instead of a hotel. We cooked dinner and had breakfast together. The home has so many different places to gather and loved the artwork. Will certainly be back with girlfriends and explore antiquing in the area.

This property was everything that the previous reviews wrote and more. We enjoyed this property for a 3 day stay with our children and wives for a local wedding. Our stay at this property was amazing!! Even though we only got to sleep there as we were in town putting a wedding together. I would most definitely recommend her house to any of my friends!!! Loved the sweet note she left and the wonderful treats!!!

This farmhouse was all we could have hoped for. We traveled to gather for a celebration of life for my Dad at nearby Camp Sloane. The location was super convenient and just the right size for our group of 2 adult families. And in hindsight the downstairs handicap accessible bedroom/living area/ bathroom was perfect for my 86 year young mom. The host Margaret Jo was wonderful. The treats left in the home of breads and cookies were amazing. We originally were going to go out to dinner one night but opted to stay in - the homes kitchen is equipped for anything. And Margaret Jo enhanced our meal with the best corn and tomatoes!! So fresh and sweet! What a farmhouse treat!!

Everything other reviewers have said is true. The home is very charming, meticulously clean, well stocked with anything one could possibly need, and set in a very private setting. Our host was such a wonderful woman; readily available and always aiming to please. We are looking forward to a return next year!!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The house was pristine and beautifully decorated. Beds and linens were so comfy.! There was plenty of space for the whole family to gather, yet also lots of unique places to have a little quiet time. Surprise bonuses included a well stocked pantry, backyard swing and a wonderfully diverse reading library. Margaret Jo was responsive to our needs and really goes out of her way to make the renter feel at home. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed ourselves. The property itself is beautiful and beautifully decorated. It's clear someone loves this place. We had two kids to run around and wear out, and there's ample room for soccer or frisbee. The kitchen is unusually well appointed. I cook, so I sometimes bring my own stuff, and I didn't need any of what i brought. Margaret was very friendly and communicative. We would rent again in a heartbeat.

This is our second stay at his property. It is still hands down the most thoughtfully appointed rental property I have stayed at - there were even rapid covid tests in the bathroom cupboard! The owner is a delight and again we were greeted with fresh flowers, local biscuits and wine. We were in the area for a family funeral and knowing that everything would be perfect at the house was a great comfort. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the warm weather activities.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this absolutely charming home near lovely Millerton NY. Margaret Jo was a wonderful, thoughtful host. She left treats to eat and toys for the kids. The house was spotless and full of light. And the area was so beautiful - a valley with farmland, near the sweet town of Millerton, and close to lots of skiing. It was a perfect weekend for two families with (collectively) four young kids.

Previous reviews are all accurate! This is a wonderful property, well located and equipped with all amenities one could wish for. Interesting art on the walls; an extensive and interesting library for adults and kids; a fully equipped kitchen; comfortable beds; multiple TVs. We arrived after Christmas and found not only gifts for the two kids, plus wine and sticky buns but also two bottles of champagne! We celebrated the New Year in style! We look forward to returning maybe in Spring for another family visit with our Sharon based son and family.

My family and I were visiting over Christmas and found sweet gifts waiting for the kids under the tree ❤️ The house was charming, clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with anything you might need to cook or clean. The owner was very communicative and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at the Bluebird Valley farmhouse. The host is incredibly communicative and anticipates every need of her guests. The property is clean, extremely well organized, tastefully decorated, and truly exceeded all of our expectations. An added plus for us on this trip was the accessible ramp which had been treated with ice melt - just in case. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (and I mean everything - we like to cook and travel with our own knives but they were not needed here!). The thoughtful host left us a bottle of wine and locally made biscuits. I brought a flower arrangement with us for Thanksgiving dinner but there was no need, as a fresh flower arrangement awaited us on the dining room table, as well as other florals in other areas of the house. My only regret is that the visit was so short but we are hoping to return again to enjoy a different season at this lovely property.

We loved everything about this charming property! The location was perfect, walking distance to the darling town of Millerton and in a gorgeous setting by the lake. The house is immaculate, so clean, and beautifully decorated. I especially loved all the interesting artwork throughout the house. Margaret is great, super responsive and hospitable. The locally made biscuits left for our arrival was such a lovely gesture.

If you want to stay in a beautiful updated CLEAN home with amenities that resemble what you would receive at a 5 star resort...this is the place! The home has everything and more that you and your companions would need or desire for any length stay. And on top of cleanliness, quality bedding and towels, many large TVs and sitting rooms...the host has stocked the house with everything you could possibly need. And goes to the next level with gifts for adults (wine! breakfast treats!) and kids (cute little bags of gifts on their beds). The host also immediately responds to all questions via messaging! Can't wait to come back!!!!

Easy communication and booking.

This house is beautiful, and the views from the yard are very serene. Every room has its own heating and cooling. There are so many rooms to sit in, and the beds (the ones we used) were very comfortable. It could not have been a better experience. Thanks for having us :)

We had a lovely stay at Blueberry Valley Farmhouse! It was the perfect size for our 2 families. Everyone enjoyed our meals around the large dining table, while there were so many sitting rooms and porches that we could all find a quiet spot to read and relax. All the rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated. The fire-pit was wonderful, you are far enough away from the city lights to see a spectacular night sky - first time we’d seen the Milky Way in a couple of years!Margret was so helpful and gracious. She thought of every need and everything was easy to find! Probably the best supplied kitchen we’ve ever rented. The walk to the lake was peaceful - full of wildflowers and woodlands. The Lake is pristine! Just a wonderful weekend overall - thank you so much Margret, we would love to come back next summer!
