Seamless from start to finish. Very convenient to Convention Center. Well equipped, clean and super family friendly!

This was our second time staying at the Blue Lagoon and it didn't disappoint! There were some new finishes to the place (patio set in front of home with fire pit) and new arcade games that made the place even better! We had a minor issue that required a repair during out stay, but the owner was excellent about the whole situation, worked with our schedule, and got someone over right away to fix the issue. Yet another excellent stay at the Blue Lagoon! Would definitely stay again!

We booked this location as a family - great common spaces and spacious bedrooms. Walking distance to Little Italy - through residential/business area near airport. Really enjoyed the pool and outdoor space! Game room was a hit, and very clean upon our arrival. Great and seamless communication with our host before/during our stay!

The overall property was amazing from the size of the rooms to the pool and hot tub in the back yard. To get to the Gaslamp was only a 6-8 minute Uber drive which was very convenient since we were headed to the convention center each morning. This was the perfect experience where the property exceeded expectations and our host was responsive making the process seamless. 12 stars

The accommodation was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. The pool and the spa were a delight at the end of a busy day. The family had great fun playing the video games, pac man and space invaders brought back memories. It was only a 20 minutes walk to town or a quick Uber ride, of which there were plenty. The aeroplanes and trains could be heard, but after a while these blended into the back ground. We were not disturbed at all during the night. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who is considering a trip to San Diego, we certainly had fun and enjoyed out stay.

Perfect spot to stay for a San Diego trip, especially if you're going to the zoo. Great house, owners are extremely helpful and responsive and the pool is great. Would stay again.

We came to a conference and our board stayed here. It was perfect. It became a mini retreat. Close to the airport and convention center. Easy to get around. Would highly recommend!

We spent two weeks at A Blue Lagoon. Very spacious, family friendly and close to everything without the hassle of traffic. Owners and staff do a great job with communication. Our second stay with this company and will def be back for future vacations! Highly recommend rental with a view and this property.

Wonderful home for a large group , well stocked with beach towels . The heated pool and spa were used multiple times a day . The pool and air hockey table were well used by the kids too. The location is close to a lot of great places to visit as well as the beach . I would highly recommend it ! The team at Rental with a view were fabulous to work with ! Always helpful and reached out via email and text fusing the stay to make sure things were okay .

Outstanding property. Perfect for my family. Great location. Within walking distance of trolley line. Close to airport and Petco Park. The pool and hot tub were an excellent way to relax. We also enjoyed the game room and the front deck. Great location and property. Very happy with our choice.

The place is amazing, it’s everything you could ask for and then some. But… there is an apartment attached to the house that they rent out separately and we were under the impression it was the whole house because it’s not listed on this listing, and no one mentioned it in reviews. We wouldn’t have rented if that was disclosed ahead of time. You don’t share anything with the apartment except the structure (it’s part of the house but with separate entrance) and you have to walk past it to get in and out. But we had an amazing time anyway and besides that it would have been 5/5. I think for VRBO at least, they should list the entire rental plus apartment and then it wouldn’t have been an issue. We would have paid for it just to have the full space (but wasn’t aware it existed until someone checked into it). Communication was fast and helpful and there are so many things they did to go above and beyond. Just a little blemish that I needed to mention since it’s left out of all other reviews. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Convenient location. Beautiful pool area. Everything within 15 minutes, including Beach and museums. Great layout for family gathering. Our family of 7 (kids, spouses, grandchild) were able to reset and recharge in a true vacation. While the cooking areas inside and outside are amazing, the kitchen is not stocked for the level of cooking that it begs. Light switches are a bit tricky to figure out.

This home is absolutely stunning. We used the outdoor space the most during our time at the house. It was like the we had our own private oasis while hanging out in the backyard and hot tubing. The home was very clean and had all the supplies we needed for our weekend trip to San Diego. The available parking was also very convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Location is close by downtown San Diego and the airport, 4 good sized bedrooms, and a nice kitchen too! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The home is very nice with clean and modern touches throughout. Easy to check in and they labeled everything so that it was easy for us to find or use. The furniture inside and out is clean and comfortable. The beds are all so comfortable and they offered very nice linens throughout, even pool towels by the door. All appliances are top of the line and the kitchen was fully stocked with the cookware and dishes to make multiple meals for all 6 of us. There were many stores in the area but we chose to instacart in the groceries for our 3-day stay. The balcony area in front is awesome at night. You can see the city lights and we really enjoyed watching the planes fly in and take off from the San Diego airport. We had no problem with noise inside the home as it is set up acoustically to effectively block out the noise outside. The only irritating noise was the buzzing sound of the spa heater in the master bathroom- but usually we were outside when we turned it on. The master bathroom shower and tub are pretty neat. The multiple lighting options throughout the house is nice as well. We played pool and darts with the kids and listened to music well into the night. You understandably have to be quiet by 10 outside and in no later than 11pm because the neighboring apartments and large home next door have residents and we were there during the week. The backyard takes the cake though. It’s beautiful. They have multiple palm trees, decor, seating, a fireplace feature with heat, BBQ, fridge, sink, and provided 2 nice pool floats to enjoy. We paid to have the pool and spa heated. We really enjoyed both. They even had some classic games and we played Jenga outside one afternoon as well. Lastly, the place is like 10-20 minutes away from everything in San Diego, which is so convenient. We went to Mitch’s the first night, which was about 12 minutes away. We hit Belmont Park, did an escape room, and walked down Mission Beach. The last night we ate at Benihana’s and finished the night at Dave and Buster’s. Each less than 20 minutes away. Overall the place is well worth the stay. I think they’ve done a really nice job making it top of the line but keeping it simple.

Great place. Beautiful backyard with pool and hot tub - opt in for the heating option. Place was very well equipped including pool and dart room. It would be great for kids. Very nice place to relax after day of site seeing. Ate most meals at the house - had all the essentials! Had fun!

GREAT property, with sizeable rooms, plenty of communal space, pool, and hot tub. A/C, location, parking, etc. FANTASTIC owners, great+prompt communication, simple instructions throughout the property for different things (eg: where to find extra towels, how to run the hot tub jets, etc.). Handy local guidebook. Would rent from them anytime, and would return to this property next time we go to SD.

Beautiful house & yard with great views. Looks as good as pictured. And, everyone enjoyed watching the planes land & take off. Neighborhood is on the boarder of a more industrial area so you’ll want a car. But it’s a short drive to many sites.

We had a great stay at the property! The pool was incredible, along with the communication of the management company. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Also the kitchen was so well stocked with everything we needed- even kids plates and loved having plastic baggies for making kids lunches when we did excursions! The sound machines in most of the rooms, and having a pack and play, was a great touch. Really great property and stay!

It was very fun! Pool was cold even with paying extra to get it heated. I would recommend staying there.
