We had 16 ladies for a spiritual retreat. House is very comfortable. Linens were abundant, kitchen was well stocked.

The location was great for our visit to Clemson. Unfortunately, we were a little taken back by the outside state of the house and equipment. Everything was very dirty. The house wasn’t as dirty but definitely not that well maintained lots of dead bugs all over bathrooms not that clean. Host was great at communicating. Lots of space

Nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Beautiful home that is warm and inviting with spectacular water views. Very clean, spacious, with lots of activities both inside and out. Great location, easy to navigate to and close to grocery stores and shopping. Owner's communication was great and although we had no issues or questions during our stay I have no doubt he would have addressed them immediately. Check-in/ check-out procedures very simple and he even allowed us to check in early if needed. We can't wait to come back and I highly recommend this home.

We had 13 adult family members together for Thanksgiving at this home. We had a wonderful time together - the house was perfect for large gatherings for meals, games, and conversation. Tom was super responsive and generous with our check in time.

The stay was fine. The downstairs bath was inoperable. The toilet leaked from the bottom and left the downstairs with a sweage smell. The shower bare put any water out.

Our group of 6 adults and 8 children had an absolute blast at this amazing property! This house is in a great quiet location, super spacious with a nice layout, and kid friendly. Overall a great place to stay! The dock and water toys were a huge benefit - we used everything all weekend! Easily one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. We’ve already decided this is going to be a yearly tradition! Thank you for letting us make such special memories at your property!

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Hartwell. We had 3 families stay and had lots of room for everyone. The downstairs is great for the kids and they loved the air hockey and pin pong table. Great are for them to chill and have own are to themselves while adults upstairs. The house is big enough to have families in different areas without crowding each others. The host was very quick and response to answering questions. Great area and close to a lot of stores. Enjoyed bringing our boat because boat ramp next to the driveway and very convenient. Will definitely book again.

I highly recommend this lake house

My family was so excited to visit Lake Hartwell together, and the location of this home/dock and its ample living space met our family's needs. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the home for check-in, the gas stove top had been running gas. While inadvertent, it was scary. We turned off the gas, opened the windows, and waited outside. When the host was contacted, he did not stop by, and focused on the inconvenience of the smell, not the serious safety issue. Then, when no trash bags were available, we contacted the host to find out where to locate them. We were told they should be under the sink, but if not, to throw trash in the outdoor bins. This was a ridiculous suggestion, and so of course, we purchased trash bags. Missing trash bags is not a big deal. However, again, the owner's response to the issue was disappointing. The final issue we experienced was a lack of cleanliness. Upon arrival, we noticed lint from the dryer vent covering a large portion of the porch floor, return air vents thick with dust, dead bugs all over the basement floor, dirt caking the windowsills, dirty windows, sticky kitchen cabinet doors, dirt on baseboards and cabinets in bathrooms, trash under the beds, and hair/lint over much of the laundry room floor. Because of the nature of other communications with the host, we chose not to communicate about the lack of cleanliness of the home. Had communication been better, and had the home been cleaner, this would have been a great rental for us.

great week on Lake Hartwell. Property owner communicative and helpful/pleasant. Nice house on nice part of lake. Enjoyed the doc and kayaks. Rented paddleboards. Close to groceries and not too far from Anderson. Of note, very steep back yard/walkway to lake and dock…. good exercise for trips up and down…. except for one member who had to watch from the screened in porch as physically limited to staying at the house/couldnt do the steep way to the dock.

This is a beautiful modern home that was perfect for our whole family. We had twelve people and plenty of space. It was really great having all the different places for everyone to congregate.

My husband loved the neighborhood boat ramp right next door to the property. My family loved the space throughout the house. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the main floor is ideal for our family. We didn’t even use the spacious lower level except the 2nd refrigerator! I loved the quiet neighborhood, convenience to the grocery store and the screened in porch where we ate dinner every night!

The house and location were even better than expected. Home furnished beautifully and location on the lake was perfect. Huge house with lots of places to hang out. The paddle boat, canoe and kayaks made for a very enjoyable experience on the lake. Host answered every question very quickly. Will definitely rent again in the future.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this property!! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and find a little peace and quiet when needed. Check-in was a breeze, as this property has a lot of “smart house” features including keyless entry. We had some epic ping pong matches, quiet time on the screened in porch and decks overlooking the lake, and lots of fun in the kayaks on the lake. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen items (pots, pans, baking dishes, air fryer, coffee pot), and there were a plethora of pillows and throw blankets around for snuggling up to watch a movie. Our group ranged in age from 20-85, and the house worked well for everyone. We had one mobility limited member in our group, and the house worked very well for her. There is only one, small step to enter the house, and the main floor has the kitchen, huge living room, 3 bedrooms, walk-in showers, and the fabulous screened in porch and deck with wonderful views of the lake. Although the walkway to the lake is steep and not everyone could make it to the dock, the porch and deck allowed everyone to enjoy the tranquility of the water. Everyone in our group loved their stay!!

There were a few concerns with the cleaning, but overall we had a good time.

This house is amazing! Plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood is quiet. Being on the lake is wonderful. We even caught a few fish! House was clean, check in and check out was easy. We will definitely stay here again!

Great property for multiple families, includes everything you need with lots of space to spread out. The kItchen is well equipped, there are great water toys and plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. Just bring yourself and enjoy the beautiful view! Close proximity to restaurants, stores, etc. Owner very friendly and responsive, easy check in.

We all really enjoyed our stay at Tom’s place and enjoyed the leisure activities made available to us. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and yet also spaces for us to gather together when we chose. Th kitchen is big enough if you like to hang in there and the eat in kitchen and separate (but open) dining space ensured we all had a place to sit and eat without feeling too far from each other. Highly recommend this if your immediate family is larger or extended family is smaller like mine. It’s so difficult to coordinate everyone getting together but if I can get all of my family in one space again, I’d totally choose this one repeatedly!

Owner was responsive and property was adequate for a family gathering. House was well stocked with kitchen spices, pots and pans. Had 1 trash bag and 1/4 roll of paper towels when we arrived, so we ran out of trash bags & paper towels and no laundry detergent even though the check out instructions were to start laundry. Otherwise, everything was nice to have a family weekend

We had a great experience! Tom was great at communicating. The house and setting were amazing. We came in to see our son and go to a Clemson game and it was the perfect house to be very comfortable with all our family with us. We used the paddle boat, canoe and kayak which was a very nice thing to include. Would definitely stay here again.

The house and lakefront are absolutely lovely. This is definitely the house you want to stay in with friends and family-- there are so many large and small places to gather inside and out! Living rooms upstairs and down are very comfortably furnished, lots of pillows and throws. Many extra bed pillows and blankets in the bedroom closets, and plentiful towels and washcloths were appreciated. The house is very conveniently located and easy to get to when you explore the area.

I have nothing bad to say about the property. It was spacious, clean, modern....overall 10 out of a 10. The location was perfect. I kept my boat in the water the entire week which allowed us to take boating trips easy-peasy. Amenities such as grocery stores and tackle shops were just minutes away from the house. Tom was a great host. He was flexible and responsive. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. He was very easy to work with. Faced with the arrival of Hurricane Ian in Florida and mandatory evacuation orders, Tom allowed us to evacuate all of our pets (including our cat (no charge)) and some of our other personal belongings to his house. This gave me an additional piece of mind because, as a first responder (Police), I could have had my leave cancelled at anytime and had to respond to the recovery efforts. This would've left my family without a place to go. Additionally, prior to arriving, I asked him about power going to the dock so I could charge my trolling motor batteries on my boat. He said there was power onshore a short distance from the dock. Well when we arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find Tom had the dock wired so I could plug in my boat. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience Lake Hartwell at its finest. Tom thanks again for the great time and memories.

Property is clean. Quiet neighborhood. Yard is large and well maintained. Updated applicances, kitchen, etc. Has all of the necessary amenities. Great dock with plenty of room to tie off a pontoon. Owner provides kayaks, canoe, oars. Very convenient to a grocery store and a bait/fishing store. The owner was very responsive and provided all of the needed info. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented this property for our family that came into town for our mother’s memorial service. We had family ranging in age from 4-50 years of age. This was a great family property. It was extremely comfortable and large enough for everyone to spread out. It is exactly as described and everyone that was adventuresome had fun on the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat. Tom was a great host. The communication was superb. This place is close to Anderson, grocery stores, Domino’s, etc. The lake was beautiful. I highly recommend this property.

This was one of the best homes we have stayed in. This home has everything you need for your stay. The owner Tom was great at communicating. There was a small power outage in the neighborhood and he immediately contacted us to ensure we were doing ok. Everyone in our family enjoyed themselves. We spent a-lot of time in the water. Great location to downtown Anderson and Greenville, but we spent a-lot time in the home as it was too hard to leave, it was just perfect and so relaxing. We will definitely come stay here again.

This was a great spot! The house itself was perfect for our family and we loved the game room downstairs and cozy living room. The best part was the nice cove (even though the water was way down) right off the main lake across from the marina and nearby an aqua park! Fun time had by all and Tom was quick to reply with any questions! Hoping to make it an annual trip! Great spot!
