The „room“ is clean and has fairly good facilities.

The location is quite far from anything. The „room“ is a remodeled garage with limited insulation - especially regarding noise from the street and dogs in the neighborhood. Also, the breakfast is average. Communication from the host is limited. Overall, the price is too high compared for what you get.

The easy energy of this boutique location (literally, Cosmo Ropa shares a driveway) will have you hash-tagging #Aaaahmbato like an early adopter. Best bath of my life.. no need to travel further in this direction. Take extra care to remember the cross-streets of Las Paltas y Auchita. 007 Las Paltas is the dirreción (dee-rek, see-on)

Straight up, the second night, the bath was a pale echo of the first. I think it was only because the location hosts were using the same hot water supply. To be fair, they are sharing their infrastructure with the guests. But I am sure, when they read this review, Alexa y su amigo will see it as a mark of respect and gratitude. I think your Cosmo Chill should be the hottest attraction in Ecuador. Prove me wrong.

We were looking for a different experience, and this suite definitely is unique. From the tropical fish surrounding the hot tub to the excellent TV with Netflix and King-size comfortable bed, with warm quilts to keep you snug at night, it was a unique stay in a very nice city (Ambato).

It doesn't have a regular concrete ceiling so it gets chilly by morning, or when it's raining. And the green carpet was getting old so had an old carpet odor.

Nicely decorated spacious room. Lovely hosts. Close to an emblematic park.

Little ventilation.

This unique room is very special, full of creativity and positive energy. The décor is calming and literally makes you smile. Modern bathroom is clean and comfortable. King-size bed was an added bonus. Soaking tub was a relaxing way to spend some time watching a series, a movie or F1; LOVED the well-taken care of fish tanks and the "tub table" for our laptop and drinks. Breakfast served to the room was DELICIOUS and very well presented. There is a great japanese-style table in the room with cushions to sit on while eating. Closet with hangers was appreciated. Parking is a tight squeeze, but available inside the gated land, right outside the room. Hosts answered all of our requests and questions immediately and It was really the perfect place to call home with a great, central location while we explored Ambato and the surrounding areas for a long weekend getaway.

A few extra towels would have made a difference in our comfort level due to the amount of time spent in water in the room. I would also suggest more ventilation in the bathroom. That said, the fan in the room was a good way to keep air moving, especially when opening the main door. A little more instruction on the cool electronic elements in the room would have helped us enjoy them more (large TV, Alexa, and home theater system). Finally, the Internet, while good enough for sending messages, could not support Netflix or streaming on our devices and meant that we used a lot of data. None of these issues prevented us from enjoying our weekend, though, and are only mentioned to help improve something already very special.

Clean and beautifully decorated room. Large candelit bath (unused) and very nice hot shower. Large and comfortable bed. Perfect WiFi. Area felt very safe. Really well located next to the two best parks (with amazing topiary) we saw in all of Ambato. The atmosphere on Sundays is particularly great. Just a 20 minute walk into central Ambato. Hosts are charming too. We would not consider staying anywhere else in Ambato.

loved the room and all the interior. it had so many details making it really fun to stay at. very spacious also. bed very comfortable. unfortunately didn’t try the jacuzzi but looked really good. breakfast was super tasty and plentiful.
