This is the second time I have stayed in Camellia Cottage. One could not ask for a more perfect accommodation. It is located in a very nice neighborhood only a few blocks from the charming Southern Pines downtown. There is a driveway which makes unloading the car as well as safe parking quite easy. Both times I have stayed at the Cottage, it has been clean and beautifully stocked …so much more comfortable than a motel. Host Angela is a delight to work with. She goes out of her way to be helpful and responds quickly to any communication. This Cottage will be my top choice whenever I am headed to Southern Pines,

House is cute and is walkable to all the downtown Southern Pines locations that we like: Betsy's Crepes and the Sly Fox. Also close by to Weymouth Nature Preserve for hiking.

Quick golf get away …cottage was perfect

We loved this cottage. It was close to all of the great restaurants, shopping and bars in Southern Pines! We had more fun here than our usual pre-NYE spots of Boone, Asheville and Wilmington. The house is one street from the main part of downtown Southern Pines, but is still so quiet. We slept great both nights! The house is perfect and provides all the comforts of home! Thank you so much!

A lot of positives about this property: location is great, excellent communication with owner, really good air conditioning, off street covered parking. Some things to be aware of: the bathroom is very tight. My husband (wasn't with me) is a big guy and would have had a hard time in the space. The mattresses are very soft if that is a problem for some (not for me). I would probably stay there again if I travel alone.

Southern Pines is a great town, perfect for our 2 week holiday. The house is a 5 minute walk from downtown and therefore close to restaurants and shops, in a nice quiet neighbourhood.
Our host quickly got us access to some tv channels, but no cable was available on arrival - the ad now says "no cable", but didn’t at the time we booked. We have never had that situation before.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to par. I am sure the hosts can remedy that with the cleaning service.

The cottage was great. Very clean. Location is excellent for walking downtown Southern Pines. Be aware that there is an active train that runs frequently through downtown, which is one block away from the cottage. Recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall we had a wonderful time, and would recommend the location for others who want to be close to downtown Southern Pines.

I stayed at Camellia Cottage for 2 weeks and could not have asked for any nicer accommodations or any more wonderful location. The Cottage is clean and comfortable—exactly as pictured on the VRBO website. And it is just a few blocks from Broad Street in Southern Pines where one can find a wonderful array of shops and restaurants. The owner was delightful to work with and quick to respond to any question I had. I can’t wait to stay at Camellia Cottage again; it will always be my first choice whenever I get back to Southern Pines.

We stayed over New Years weekend while visiting our son who is stationed at Ft. Bragg. The property is a very charming cottage in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. We enjoyed shopping downtown in Southern Pines. The checkin/checkout process was very simple and the owners were great with communication. Would definitely stay again!

What a sweet house! It’s perfectly located and very quiet for being so close to the heart of Southern Pines.
The bedrooms are very comfortable, the bathroom adequate, and the main living area very charming and cozy. My only complaint in being unable to open windows to let the fresh air in. We enjoyed beautiful fall weather and I would have loved to have the nice breeze.
The side patio was great for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour.
Parking was easy and ample. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Camelia Cottage was perfect! The house was super clean, the king bed was most comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need. The patio was relaxing and we walked to the park several times. The most perfect location to shopping and eating. Can’t wait to come back!

The first thing we noticed was the white picket fence! This is a cozy, comfortable cottage with all the amenities one could want. The owner added some thoughtful touches such as snacks and sundries. We will definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay. Excellent communication and response with the owner. Loved the craftsman touches and old southern touches that show parts of old Pinehurst and Southern Pines area charm. We were in town for a golf tournament and were within 7 mins of the Pine Needles. We walked to dinner nightly and the Southern Pines shops. This was perfect for us.
