Beautiful house for the 9 of us (5 adults, 4 children). Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The kids especially enjoyed the pool (swam every day) and we enjoyed the outdoor fireplace as well. Doug and Kim were most gracious during our stay. Will definitely come back.

Doug and Kim are amazing hosts. They have put so much work into the property and they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as relaxing as possible. We loved the location because it was a short drive to the touristy parts of Gulf Shores or Orange Beach but if you want to chill at the house you have a yard for games, swimming in the pool or grilling out. We will definitely return in the future!

Our group of 17, ranging in age from 3 - 45 years old had a great time here. There was plenty at the house to do to keep everyone entertained. The house was close to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and the beach. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The owners were very nice and responsive.

We had a group of 14 ranging from adults to infants. The house was AMAZING! The space inside is well laid out. We never felt crowded. The beds were all comfortable and the accommodations were beautiful! Outside is where the house is set apart from any others. Lots of space, seating, swimming and activities. The owners, Kim and Doug, met us on arrival and were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed visiting with them and they maintain the outdoor space daily throughout the stay. We would definitely return again and hope to also rent their other property next door!

This property is absolutely amazing for a multi-generational family ! My dad has a hard time getting around so this property was perfect since most everything is on the main floor ! Also I have two teenage boys who loved the bunk room. My sister and I also loved our beautiful rooms. The kitchen was terrific because everything you could ever need is right there !! And did I mention the back yard yet?? The pool, hot tub and outdoor grill was fantastic. We cooked out a few nights during our weekly stay. Also there is a fire pit and even though it was very hot outside, we roasted marshmellows and made smores !! Our hosts, Doug and Kim are the BEST HOSTS I have ever had in all my past rentals ! They came by each morning and checked the pool and hottub to make sure everything was clean and working appropriately. Also, Kim is an artist and a lot of her beautiful art is on display within the house. And Doug can fix or build just about anything :). I just can't say enough about our stay. The hosts, the house, the location and everything else was phenomenal and we highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a beautiful home that is a close drive to Gulf Shores with amazing hosts, this is your place !! The home was beyond our expectations. It had everything we needed for our stay. It provided enough to do for the whole family from grilling, to the pool and hot tub plus more than enough space to accommodate all 14 of us. The hosts are who make this a highly recommended house for a family vacation. Doug and Kim go above and beyond to make your stay feel like home. They are truly hands on owners of their property but we really loved how welcoming and friendly they were to our family. They really treat you like one of their own during your vacation. Loved everything! This home has everything you can imagine you’ll ever need. Pool and outdoor living space fantastic! Every room has such comfortable beds, the bunk room for kids is amazing and the overall decor is beautiful! We will definitely be back and will encourage others to visit too! Doug and Kim were great hosts. Very friendly and quick to respond about any questions. They attended to the hot tub, pool and fire place daily. The home was clean, spacious, and great amenities. We were a group of 8 adults and 9 kids. Close to many attractions. Highly recommend this home.

This is an amazing house. Perfect for 6adults and 10 kids. The backyard was perfect for all of us especially the fireplace and hot tub! The inside was so roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. Doug and Kim are great hosts.

My husband and I rented Kim and Doug's property for a week over Thanksgiving! Our 4 adult children and their spouses, plus 6 grandchildren ages 4 and under, all enjoyed their stay. With the home being all at one level, it was perfect for the toddlers! No worrying about falling down stairs! The cupboards were loaded with everything we needed. We made good use of the hot tub! It was nice that we could adjust the temperature when the little ones were in. The heated pool and fireplace also got a lot of use! The tanning ledge was perfect for the toddlers to sit and play. The mid- day temps were typically in the 60's to low 70's most of the week. Places we visited were a circus at a nearby fairgrounds, Alligator Alley, Gulf Shores Beach, Lambert's Roll Throwing Cafe, hiked the area near the Fishing Dock, a distillery, etc. Kim and Doug stopped each morning to adjust the water chemicals and clean the fireplace. Very easy to chat with and get nearby information from. They even took our Christmas card photo! We toured their new place next door that they are getting ready to rent next year! Very nice setup! Thanks for the great week!

This house is great for a group of people. Lots of space, amenities, well equipped and the location is great. The outdoor area is AMAZING!!

My family of 10 adults and 3 children- 9 months, 8 months, and 13 years old stayed here 9-3-22 to 9-10-22. We had an awesome vacation and plenty of family time. The house was spacious and the backyard was beautiful. There was plenty of room for all of us. We spent a lot of time sitting around the back yard talking, swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying the fireplace at night. The drive to the beach was short and there are many restaurants and activities in the area. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

The home was nice and clean. Many outside things to do, private pool and hot tub, grill and griddle. Hosts was nice and friendly, and serviced the pool and tub daily. Can wait to see what the new property had to offer. I highly recommend this home.

Great home with amazing backyard. Enjoyed good meals cooked on the Blackstone, had many laughs and great memories were made! We all loved it!!

This house is just perfect. It’s got everything you need for cooking and hanging out by the pool. Plenty of room for several families. We were 5 families with 8 adults and 10 kids. Everyone had a place to sleep and to hang out. If you need to get away from everyone there are plenty of little nooks to hang out by yourself. So much fun playing bags, swimming, and grilling. Beach was an easy 15 minute drive. Close to plenty of shopping, restaurants., etc. We had the best time here.

Doug and Kim were awesome. This house is extremely nice! The back yard and patio is the real deal. Very large, pool, bar, hot tub, covered patios, it was great. There were 14 of us and there was plenty of room. The dining/living area is very open. Not all of the bedrooms have their own bathroom, but it still worked out.

We stayed at this property with a total of 15 people and never felt like we were on top of each other. The house was clean, well-equipped, organized, and very comfortable. We were in close proximity to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The pool, hot tub, and patio were enjoyed by all. We had a fantastic time!

We vacationed here with our extended family of 10 people. The home is incredibly clean and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice. The backyard is where we spent the majority of our time and is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with every dish, pot/pan, utensils and staple items you need. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are super comfy. The owners are super personable. incredibly welcoming and have built a beautiful property. The home is 10 minutes from beautiful beaches, dining and the OWA water/amusement park. We loved that we could easily be in the crowd of people when we wanted but the home felt tucked away in the quiet. We would highly recommend this property to any large group looking to spend quality time together. It was a slice of heaven for our family!

We enjoyed our time there and all of the accommodations. Very clean and the owners were quick to respond to any of our concerns. My only complaint was the freezer in the main refrigerator which was not working properly. We still had a good time there

We were very happy with our stay. We had 4 families, with kids ranging from 8-19 years and had plenty of space. The second living room area was a perfect place for the kids to hang out, plus there are plenty of gathering areas outside. The kitchen is very spacious with a long island, a large dining table and a second dining table. Kim and Doug communicated promptly and were very thorough. They stopped by to tell us several things and were available if we needed anything. We went to the beach each day. It's about a 20 minute drive to Gulf Shores beach if the traffic is good. There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented the house with two other couples and adult children about 17 people in total. Never once did we feel we were cramped. The house is impeccably maintained and clean. The owners take great pride in the home. The outside is its own resort with the pool, fireplace and bar. Can’t say enough great things about the house. We will be returning for sure!!

This property was amazing! We can not wait to go back again! The hosts of the property we wonderful, the home and outdoor area were both spotless and we enjoyed much of our time in the pool, playing bags and sitting by the outdoor fireplace at night! Short drive to several public beaches, restaurants, shopping and entertainment! This home did not disappoint!

We have stayed at several properties over our years of travel but this is the first one that the owners greeted us upon entry and gave us a verbal rundown of key things to be aware of. Kim and Doug were also very helpful in directing us for which beaches were good to go to (and avoid the crowded concert scene that isn't appropriate for young children). Also, they were very meticulous in keeping the property, pool and outdoor fireplace clean. We saw them out several times over the week we were there cleaning leaves out of the pool. It is clear the house underwent a complete renovation and is designed with VRBO's in mind. The rooms are well set up and our kids loved the double loft room. The house was spacious and well maintained. The only minor concern was (I believe?) the air conditioning system was more noisy than anticipated due to its location between the great room and bedrooms.

We had the most amazing time!! Perfect yard/pool/spa/fire pit! House was clean and decorated so nicely! Great driving distance to anything we wanted to do! Loved being able to have our own space if we didn’t want to go anywhere!! Owners were helpful with suggestions! 10/10 would rent again!
