My friend and I attended a virtual conference for 3 days so we decided to rent a cottage so we could fully focus without the distractions of our homes and families. Lemon's Lake Haus was the perfect spot. Check in process was seamless. and we were allowed an early check-in to get fully settled before the course started. I accidentally cracked the coffee carafe and when I told Jennifer, she showed up the next morning with another coffee pot for us. This was so appreciated as coffee was needed! It was a very clean cottage in a quiet location and within a short walk to downtown shops and the beach (although it was pretty cold this weekend. I would definitely recommend Lemon's Lake Haus!

Lemon's Lake Haus was the perfect spot for our writers' retreat / girls' weekend. Spotless, spacious, and close to the village amenities. Highly recommend!

As ideally located as the Town of Bayfield itself. An easy walk to the bluffs, Pioneer Park, the beach and the best of Bayfield’s Main St. Restaurants & Pubs. The house presents “as new”, it’s super well equipped with a gourmet kitchen not often found in cottage- style properties. Run, don’t walk to this house and it’s fantastic manager, Jennifer.

Great location - easy walk to Main Street Property had everything we needed

This is the third year in a row our family (4 people) have booked a home with Cottage Stays. Each time was a different cottage; this one was called Lemon's Lake Haus. Jennifer is easy to deal with, gives good suggestions and the homes have all had everything we need. Lemon's Lake Haus in particular has a beautiful backyard. comfortable beds, a big open main floor, modern appliances, and a great location. Bayfield itself is a friendly and quiet place, has everything you need on the main street or very close and is near many activities (boats, beach, cycling, hiking, berry picking, horse racing,,,etc). Any quibbles I may have are extremely minor (like bigger towels would be nice) but overall, our family has started to love this area of Ontario and we cannot wait to return. Perhaps 10 a.m. checkout (which Jennifer kindly moved in our case) should be changed to noon at the earliest. 10 a.m is quite early to be ready and I think more flexibility should be built into the arrival/departure. If you are looking for cozy, comfortable and clean…. this is definitely the place. Our experience was awesome! Truly relaxing stay! Close to downtown and Lake Huron. We would definitely go back!

I stayed for 3 days and it was nothing short of perfection. Very well kept and clean, beautiful decor, kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Relaxing on the back deck was so peaceful, and the wood fireplace was a huge bonus! The owner always replied promptly and was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyable family getaway in a welcoming setting that has been nicely updated and includes many conveniences. The open floor plan and cozy backyard seating areas are great for providing space to do your own thing while keeping the group together. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere - beach access, downtown, pier, groceries! Hosts provided lots of tips on what to expect and things to do in the area. We loved our time here and would return.

Lemon’s Lake Haus is a beautiful cottage/house in Bayfield. It is walking distance to both the town and the beach. A bike is wonderful as everything is so close. The cottage is very well decorated with modern features including 3 sitting areas outside for resting, reading books or eating dinner. The primary room has a king bed and a closet with a barn door. There are 2 additional rooms upstairs so the cottage sleeps 6. Extras include a dishwasher, air conditioning and a bbq. We chose lemons lake house because it looked inviting and we where looking for a q uiet place to relax and unwind. Bayfield has many little unique places to visit and do just that. Thank you to Jennifer and Lynn for answering any questions and making us feel welcome.

Lemon's Lake Haus was exactly as pictured and described. Right in the middle of Bayfield, very conveniently located to the historic mainstreet (five minute stroll) and just at the bottom of the street is Lake Huron and opportunities to access a sandy beach. The house is very well appointed and comfortable with the best equipped kitchen of any rental property we've stayed at. All the equipment and materials were well maintained and in good working order. The deck and fire pit are a very nice touch. We played frisbee and soccer in the back yard with our young kids. The beds are very comfortable and we chose to pay for the linens to be provided which made it easier to just settle into our holiday upon arrival. Staying in Bayfield made access to GrandBend/Pinery and Groderich easy along with all the other activities within driveable distance (beer tasting, wine tasting, berry picking, etc.). Thanks for a great stay!

Jennifer was an absolute delight and answered all our questions promptly and completely. She made us feel welcomed from our initial request throughout the entire stay. We loved the detailed touches to included the welcome gifts of chocolate, local coffee and even special homemade treats for our pups!We had the most relaxing time to unwind and recoup because this place has everything you need plus all the things you didn't think you needed but was glad it was there!Five stars are not enough.... this is a true gem and we highly recommend.

The property was great for our needs and because we had a pet, the backyard was great. The weather worked in our favour so we spent most of our time outside. Downtown shops are very close and the lake is well within walking distance. Perfect for us.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for; super cozy, spacious and clean.

The presentation on arrival was stunning, we loved how clean and lively everything felt. All the necessary amenities were provided and everything detailed in the posting was there. The place itself was gorgeous and the area was nice and quiet making for a very relaxing weekend. The renter was readily available and responsive for any questions and as promised the place was sanitized before our arrival, we even got to arrive an hour earlier than expected. There have already been talks of coming back!

5 of us enjoyed the house for a lovely two day weekend! Spacious, tastefully decorated - everything we needed! Location was amazing - close to main street for shopping, dinners AND more so, the lovely morning walks around the area! Thank you!

Upon arrival we found the cottage to be exactly as advertised. We were appreciative with the complimentary coffee and the convenience of using the supplied soaps for dishwasher and laundry. Jennifer met us there and was happy to answer any of our questions. It's location is ideal for walking or riding around the village and and accessing restaurants, pubs and stores. We will be coming back.
