The cabin is so spacious, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need. There were games for the kids and the entire family. A beautiful fire pit, pool table and lots of room to explore. The communication with the host was spot on! She made everything easy and stress-free. We will definitely be back! Quiet and peaceful place.

This cabin is accurately described in the listing. The spacious 2 story open living room allows a lot of light in. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 adults. We visited Mammoth Cave and Crystal Onyx Cave and hiked in the area. We would have liked to use the outdoor fire pit and screened in porch, but time did not allow.

We had a family getaway weekend and ended up here while we ventured out and explored a little bit of what Kentucky has to offer. A beautiful place in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our evenings here relaxing, enjoying the sunset and brushing up on our pool skills. It was the perfect place for us.
Beyond this, any needed communication was very prompt and I greatly appreciated this! Thank you agian for letting enjoy your beautiful space!

This is a great rental located within a short driving distance of Mammoth Cave National Park. We would definitely stay here again. Our only issue was we couldn't find pot holders to use to take stuff out of the oven but we made due.

The cabin is amazing and worked great for our weekend trip!! Plenty of space, very clean, stocked with indoor and outdoor games. The screened in porch is fantastic for hanging out in the evenings. Melissa the host was great and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area as a place to stay.

A group of friends stayed here because we had a fishing tournament on Barren River over the weekend. We enjoy this location because there is plenty of space for our boats and there is a lot of peace and quiet. The place is very nice and offers a great place to relax. Plenty of sleeping options and plenty of options to hang out.

My family ages 21 to 70+ had a nice long weekend at the cabin. Everything was spotless and the property was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the fire pit and screened porch. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. I especially liked that one of the bedrooms was on the main floor as my parents are elderly. The host was very responsive. Cabin location was also great and within less than a 40 minute drive of activities for all interests and ages.

This cabin and property is beautiful and spacious. It is well stocked with everything you could ever need. Melissa is an incredible communicator and check in/out is a breeze. My family loved the walk out basement and pool table- not to mention the yard and fireplace. Would definitely recommend! Grocery stores and restaurants within 20 minutes, Mammoth Cave about 40 minutes. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely stay here!

Our immediate family met up at the cabin for Thanksgiving. The host was incredible and the cabin was wonderful. We had a great time as a family and will definitely return.

We decided to stay here as it was in between Louisville and Nashville on our Bourbon and Whiskey tours with the relaxing atmosphere with a fire pit, pool table and space to relax. The property was very nice and clean, only issue was were not able to use the outdoor deck as the flies were overwhelming. Overall a nice property.

The cabin is VERY clean and the layout is excellent for a family gathering. We loved drinking coffee on the screened in back porch. I highly recommend this cabin!

This place was amazing! Such a short drive to several slips. Pool table in great condition and so many amenities! Firewood was provided. We were lucky that the cabin beside us was vacant during our stay! Will absolutely come back.

The property was very clean and comfortable for our family of seven. The kids enjoyed the game room and pool table. The porch was great for relaxing and the beds were very comfortable. Overall just a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this cabin for your stay. (Didn't want to leave because of the terrific 'man cave' downstairs.) Melissa is a terrific and hospitable host, and her help during a booking mishap was invaluable.

Cabin was very nice with games, pool table, etc. Location was rural and quiet and just a short drive to the nearest town.

The cabin is comfortable and clean. Location is remote but within an hour of Bowling Green and 20 minutes to major grocery stores. Wireless was fast and had no problems. Family had a great time.

This is our second time staying....it's great for a long weekend, hikes at Barren River State park properties, playing pool, just being out of the city. Clean and well appointed.

This is a fantastic place! Clean, spacious and excellently laid out! A half-hour from Mammoth Cave and ten minutes from Barren River Lake!
Melissa was available for the few questions we did have, and always friendly and helpful. This property will stay on our favorites list for our next visit to South-Central Kentucky!

All in all a very nice stay. Just a couple of things... please get a new can opener!!! The fan in the great room has a mind of its own, the sliding doors in the bathroom and large bedroom could use a larger hook and eye. Also hooks for clothes in bath. Lighted switches are very helpful when moving about after dark. One of the beds collapsed, luckily not during the night. When we called a nice young man came immediately, left to get what he needed, returned and got it fixed. We really appreciated you answering our call so quickly. The marshmello smoors were great.

Quite Get Away
The location of this property allowed us to visit/explore a variety of caves in neighboring towns. Also it is not too far to make a day trip to Nashville. Would recommend Annie’s for breakfast in Glasgow. Last, Melissa was very responsive to our questions/comments. She is a great host. Cabin was clean as advertised and provides ample room for a variety of family activities.

Great experience
We could not have been happier than our stay here. We rented both sides and gave us the room we needed for all our family to be together and Melissa could not have been more accommodating and pleasant to work with. The home is awesome, both sides, and basically you get a mirror image of each other with the only difference being the decor, and my kids loved the Smoky the Bear room. I could not recommend a place any higher than I do this duplex. It's everything you could want and then some. We look forward to going back. Thank you Melissa for everything.

Rent this property! You will absolutely love it! I've stayed at cabins all over the country and this one was BY FAR the most convenient, cleanest, relaxing and quietest place I've ever stayed. I spent a week here and got more peace than I have in years. I'll DEFINITELY be back!

Quick weekend getaway
Found on VRBO. Could not have been easier to rent, just as advertised, or maybe even better. Clean as possible, outfitted with everything needed and then some, plenty of games, great pool table set up downstairs, great fire pit and screened in back porch. We will be back when we can stay longer. Very convenient to state park and water

Great Place
Needed a place for 7 people to stay and have somewhere to sleep, and this was it! Was attending an event in Bowling Green, and even though it was a 40min drive each day, it was totally worth it! Will definitely be back!
