We did enjoy our stay at this property, but be prepared for lots of quirks. The house is very creaky in general. The bunk bed is not really usable as a top bunk- so do not plan on putting anyone up there. We did bring our dogs which was great, but there were 4-5 piles of throw up in backyard. Which was disgusting and challenging to keep pups away from. The fireplace did not work with remotes- the house maintainer Steve was really kind and stopped by and showed us how to light it from inside the fireplace - so usable but not conducive for most. The dishwasher pod holder wouldn’t work, so to use the dishwasher you had to throw pods into the dishwasher itself. The upstairs bathroom had no temperature control so the water was scathing hot and unusable. The door in the basement shower was not on the hinge and that was super challenging as well. The sauna worked a couple of times but then we couldn’t get on again. It was a great location to the ski resort- but the house is tight and very quirky. It seemed more like a place a bunch of guys who went skiing would come back and crash for the night than for a family who was using house consistently during their stay. House was clean, but overall needs some updates.

Overall we enjoyed our time in Wilmington. The outside fire pit hot tub and sauna close to Whiteface and Lake Placid. It was a wonderful family vacation! were added benefits. This is a great location. The owner Michael was fantastic to work with, however the property manager ?

We had black ants on all 3 levels ( I believe most were entering through gaps of a poorly installed air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom)) The upstairs toilet was leaking enough that we had to turn the water off. The owner isn’t getting his moneys worth when it comes to his cleaning crew. Living room air condition unit in the living room needs to be cleaned or replaced, there was mold in it.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Olympic dreams. Nice restaurants close by and not far from downtown Lake Placid.

The house was beautiful—only one mile from Whiteface, twenty minutes to Lake Placid. Very spacious but still very very cozy. Plenty of room for seven adults to spread out but be together. Love the sauna and hot tub and the fireplace was wonderful! Definitely recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely and well appointed. Bedding and mattresses were great. The proximity to White face Mountain is just amazing. Thank you !

We were looking for just a simple getaway and change of scenery for Thanksgiving and already love the region. The house and property were just as expected, plus some! The house was all set for our arrival. There were more pots and pans, as well as cooking essentials than we anticipated. We did have a few of our own; corning ware for cooking and reheating. Previous renters seem to love cooking on high heat or needed small sppon but other than this, excellent choice! The hot tub was turned on, cleaned snd ready for our arrival. We didnt use the fire pit due to weather but the chairs looked perfectly fine. We did bring our own just in case. We will be back!
