The bed was comfortable

The rudeness of the night manager threatening to cancel my booking because we were late, die to GPS malfunction. Then demanding $99 as a deposit. To add to this I had to kill a cockroach as soon as we walked in the room and the bathroom hasn't been updated in over 30 years with green tiles and a cheap bin that was covered in rust.

The food was yummy, beds were comfy. Coffee was yum

The shower was down the hall and same as the toilet

but room 2 needed attention floor cleaning alongside the toilet

The bathrooms could do with a little more thorough cleaning. The corners of the room and the shower recess are a little dodgy and when you slide the door closed underneath is quite dirty. Saying that I have stayed there several times and I'm happy with everything. The bed linen and towels are immaculate

Very close to local shops for groceries, food, basic necessities. 2 min walking distance from the local metro. AC had a built-in heater, which was very good. Internet speed was passable.

No breakfast option in the booking or in the kitchen. Glass wall facing the road, too much road noise, train passing noise, birds in the trees. literary you can hear anything. Thin walls, customers talking in other rooms can be heard. Dirty washroom floor, 1 out of 4 lights worked only. spring mattresses were ok.

A/c kept the room warm. Great shower pressure

Poorly maintained. No blankets available. Room smelt when we arrived. No lift. Shower curtain- should be a screen. No in room phone. Noisy on Friday morning really early (leaf blower). Switch broken on wall light. A/c battery was low I think - flaky operation.

You got what you paid for. Basic but comfortable. No noise from pub or other guests. AC was effective and worked well to overcome the window issue listed below. Food in the bistro was great and we ate there each night

We did have some cockroaches and the kettle had obviously been used for something aside from boiling water. It would have been good to have had something to wash up mugs with. The Louvre windows made for a noisy and cold night

There was a bucket of gone off KFC in the fridge, one of the beds had hair all over. Just book an Airbnb..

the staff friendliness, and the salmon I ordered, I ordered them for two lunches that I was there, Oh and I like that the patrons are all friendly and can kind of read your mind. and I can't get enough how the salmon was cooked beautifully.

the bathroom sharing, I know it was my fault for not reading while booking, and the bathroom aren't very tidy, and there should be some kind of bench in the bathroom being it was shared, the guest must bring all lot of stuff with them and there was just no where to rest them whilst having a shower, some of us hate having just the towel wrap around your body while you walk along the corridor, and the bathroom being shared, there should be a shower jell disposal in the shower. it was not easy showering, as you take your shower soap or jell with you, and forget to take it back in your room, and the next shower you do you run out of soap or jell simply because you forgot it and of course they would have been thrown away. anyhow just saying. Oh also wouldn't mind the room having its own mirror so when we are putting our face we don't have to go travelling to the bathroom a thousand times... the bathroom are just a long walk from where I was.

Great communication with very nice staff. Very affordable. Right next to shops- Amazing little bakery across the road. Super comfy beds.

So noisy. Walls are paper thin so even normal conversations could be heard from the next room. Very loud generator (?) going on and off all night. Outside and hallway lights never got turned off, so was lit up in room even with curtains closed, all night.

i liked that the location was close by to my girlfriends home. Making it very easily to spend a majority of my time with her instead of the cockroach infested hotel and rude guests who smoked, screamed and laughed at insane hours of the night.

The room had a cockroach infestation inside the bottom of the fridge, i stayed in room 13 and it was disgusting. The window sill was also dirty with an unspeakable amount of dirt and dust. The bathroom was disgustingly filled with mold. The fellow guests were loud and rude, the pub was full of cigar smoke. I had a fellow patron harass me for wearing a mask about three times and the staff did nothing when i asked for help. The rooms are dirty, the window sill was so dusty they dont pay their maids enough.

They are charging holding deposits and then stealing the funds

Stealing holding deposit, smelly rooms, 2 bathrooms for 24 guests is disgraceful
