This was a family reunion for us and was perfect. The house was located close to all attractions, and the swimming in the river was excellent. The house accommodated all of our needs and gave us plenty of space for individual time.

Well situated near the lake and convenient to downtown

We had a great stay. We were on a working trip and the house provided the space needed for our group. It is little bit of an odd layout, but we really enjoyed the house. There are a few repairs that are needed, but overall, I would stay there again. It was very clean and host were able to help with us internet service in a moments notice.

The property was great! There were a few minor things that should have been divulged to us before the stay. One, they had been doing some renovations to bring a few windows up to code. So there was a window that was not covered and one that the trim was not put back on but did have a sheet over it. Two, there was extra material left in the garage which included some glass and 2x4's. Three, the code to access entry had been changed and thankfully someone showed up to let us know it had changed. Four, we had a little trouble with the wifi, but it was resolved quickly. So for the price we paid, I expected pretty much a perfect house which was not the case. Overall it was a good trip and we would definitely stay again as long as the house was completely finished. I do recommend this property.

There are some updates that could be made to the house/decor, but the new owners are working on it! Overall a great stay - we were rained in, with several children, and the house made it so that we were not right on top of each other - everyone could breathe, relax, and enjoy our time together. Beautiful views (we were there in the Fall). Due to rain, couldn't get outside to take advantage of amenities (kayaks, ping pong, hot tub, etc.), but had a nice stay anyway.

The decking at the back of the property is excellent. Great views, great spot for the hot tub. Lots of stairs to get to the boat dock, so be prepared for that. Plenty of beds available. The property had not been cleaned before we arrived. Dirty dishes, leftovers in the oven (discovered by the foul smell), beds had all been slept in and needed the sheets changed. We arrived late at night after a long drive and spent the next few hours cleaning. The dryer didn’t work, so getting clean sheets and towels wasn’t trivial. One of the upstairs toilets leaked, so the bathroom floor was soaked. I sent a message that night to the property manager and NEVER heard back. No apology, no refund, no acknowledgement. It’s a nice house, but spending the first few hours of vacation cleaning isn’t a great start. There is no excuse for not getting a reply from the property manager. It’s too bad: nice house, but bad experience.

The house was beautiful, and great location on the lake. I gave it a two-star overall for a few reasons. One this house is supposed to accommodate up to 12 people. Are group had 10, and there was enough silverware for 4 people. The kitchen utensils and cookware are outdated and few. The lighting outside is horrible. If you are outside on the balcony at night you have to be careful because there are no lights and it is very dark. There are nails coming up through many boards. The water pressure in every shower is very little. The dryer did not work. We could not dry any towels we were using during the week. We had to call the property manager to bring us fresh towels in the middle of our stay. I think the house is beautiful and has picturesque views, but needs a lot of updating on the inside.

Very nice. Master bedroom huge though other bedrooms kinda small. Group was three adult couples, one teenager, and one seven year old. There was enough room that we could each have some privacy.

Hot tub was dirty with algae. Ping pong table net needs to be replaced. The hike down to the lake was extreme. Beds were very comfortable. House was clean and well stocked with essentials

This was an annual vacation with our children and grandchild. There were 10 people, from early 70’s down to 4 years old. Our family loves being together, and we had a wonderful time with other. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The lake was beautiful, we enjoyed having a boat dock on site and swimming. The fisherman in the group enjoyed the lake and we had nice day when renting a pontoon boat. The house and grounds were a disappointment. The deck in the back is full of popped nails and should not be walked on without shoes. It also has many steps; the widths are varied presenting a falling hazard. We would not use the upper-level desk because the railing is very wobbly. There are 110 steps from the house to boat dock. The boat dock has protruding nails that scratched a brand-new boat. The exterior lighting is inadequate making difficult to see when climbing the stairs at night. The shed on the dock was full of water toys that didn’t hold air and are covered in mold. There were three life jackets, a child 20-40 lbs., and 2 small adult jackets, all were moldy. The house has adequate sleeping space, and the bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were outdated but ok. They need to put better instructions for the master bath shower. The property manager had to come over and show us how it worked. This house as an awful main level floor plan for large groups. Small, disconnected rooms and no place to play game comfortably. The room with the TV only has seating for 5 people max. The sofa is small, not very sturdy and one of the arms was barely attached. Both chairs saggy and are difficult to get up from. The dining room bench cushion was filthy and we had use a foot stool for enough seating. The kitchen has a nice stove and ovens, however, the dishes, pots, pan and eating utensils all look like they have come from a secondhand store. They need to label the light switches. There are multiple switches in every room, and none are labeled. The air conditioning in the upstairs is challenging. If you set the temperature to make the 3 bedrooms at the end of the hall comfortable the master bedroom is freezing. Most of the furniture throughout the house is old and saggy. In general, this house needs a lot of updating and attention. This house is not a good value for the money, we would not recommend and will not return.

This house is absolutely beautiful and was immaculate upon arrival. Lots of fun playing corn hole and ping pong on the deck. The walk to the cove is long but worth it. The water was very deep in the cove and crystal clear. We had the best time and were sad to leave!!!

We had an excellent experience. All family members loved the home. Home description is very accurate. Perfect for large family vacation. Very spacious home. Excellent boat dock, swimming dock, and outside deck. Host responded quickly everytime I contacted her with questions.

We brought all of our adult kids in for a family get together. The house slept all of us comfortably and the table was large enough to squeeze all 11 of us for meals. The deck was amazing enjoying endless games of corn hole. The lake is very clean and wasn’t too busy, even on the weekend. We ended each night with a sunset cruise. It was a great vacation. The only negative is the 112 steps down to the boat dock from the back of the house.

There was some definite perks that we liked about our stay like lake access, location, kayaks, outdoor towels, and even soap and shampoo dispensers in all the showers. These were nice benefits; however, the condition of the house and the contents were a major disappointment. In general, it was very hard to get past the musty odor, sagging furniture in the living room area, and worn patio furniture. The home was surface clean, but in need of major deep cleaning with return air vents coated in dust, mold on the patio furniture, bugs in the light fixtures, etc. Upon arriving we noticed a large number of lights not working and we reached out to our property contact. She promptly responded and came to replace several bulbs; however, there were still more that needed replaced. There were other smaller issues, but for reasons discussed above, we did not feel we received the value we paid for this stay and sadly would not return or recommend this property until some of these details are addressed.

Beautiful surroundings and a cool and functional house for a big group.

The beds and furniture were comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen is well equipped. Some minor M&O could be improved , such as checking AC filters, TP stock, kitchen towels supply, but overall had everything we needed. It was nice having the kayaks to use on the creek off of the main river.

This house was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Definitely recommend for any group trip!

This house is amazing, beautiful place, it’s huge and can accommodate everybody very comfortable, the beds are awesome and the best is the deck!!! Beautiful scenery and even though it was very cold we enjoyed the deck, fire pit and hot tub!! I will definitely come back but in the summer so we can enjoy the lake better. Overall this house is a must !!

Great space with beautiful views. It’s close to town and far enough out to relax without city noise. We would stay again

We really enjoyed our time at this property. There are a few things that need to be fixed but nothing that inhibited functioning of anything.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Nice property, beautiful location with great outdoor living space. Couple suggestions would be to replace cookware and toilet seats.

Nice big house with plenty of amenities. Easy access to downtown hot springs and ouachita forest. Owners of property very accomadating and quick responding.

My husband & I celebrated our wedding anniversary and had 4 other couples join us. We enjoyed ourselves! The hot tub, multiple decks w/seating, and the peaceful neighborhood was a plus for us all. The property is on the “calm side” of the lake is what we were told at the marina. We rented a boat from the local Mariana and toured Lake Hamilton for 4hrs. We didn’t dock the boat at the property because the rain shortened our time but I like that it was an option. We experienced one issue with the freezer not freezing but the owner was very prompt in coming to check it out and resolve the issue.

Me and my family booked this house for my wife’s birthday weekend. She wanted a place with a hot tub and a nice view so that she could wake up everyday and enjoy it. That was her one request and so I felt this house was perfect. When we got there we noticed that the deck did not look like the pictures. It was dirty, and chairs were scattered everywhere. She was optimistic because all she really wanted was to be in the hot tub so she went and checked it. It was disgusting. There were bugs floating in it, the water was green, dirt was coating the areas were you sit, and more. We called and messaged to see what was going on and were told that the motor went out in it last weekend and it didn’t work. And there was nothing that they could do until Monday. We were leaving on Sunday! He gave us the option of staying and dealing with it or getting a refund and leaving. Which sucked because we had just drove three hours with cranky kids. So we didn’t want to do that. Then we were contacted and told that they would send the ladies to get massages. Then the next day we were contacted and told that they wouldn’t be getting massages and would receive a small amount of money back for not getting the one thing we booked the house for. It has been almost two weeks and we have still not received anything. We wish that we were told that the hot tub didn’t work before we went there. The house was nice and clean. There was a message to not use one of the sink appliances. The freezer took a while to freeze. But it was nice on the lake. We were able to take the kayaks out and have fun with the kids. The walk was terrible but we knew what we signed up for when we saw the pictures of the walk to the water. The main bedroom and bathroom was the highlight of the house. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. Our experience was heartbreaking the first day but got a little better the next because me and our family tried to make the best out of the situation for the sake of my wife who was upset about the hot tub.

Beautiful home that was perfect for hosting a bachelorette weekend. Plenty of outdoor space. The dock was awesome for spending time and swimming. Only heads up is for the climb up the stairs from the dock! There were a couple spots to sit and rest on the wooden stairs, and after 2 trips up/down, they were being used! Got in some good exercise! We had a wonderful weekend and wouldve stayed a whole week if we couldve! Thanks for letting us use your beautiful home!!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Our only complaints were that some lights are out in the house and the lighting for the stairway outside could be better. Overall excellent stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
