If you're looking for the best location for a stay in/near Ocean Grove/Asbury Park, this is it! Everything you could want is within easy walking distance. This home was a great home base away from home. Karen and Liz were very easy to contact and responsive. We loved the covered patio, and the wagon provided for our use was a life saver for trips to the beach. While we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay, I would not recommend this property for families with toddlers unless you are prepared to have eyes on them at all times. Also, the twin bed room does not have a door.

This is a beautifully renovated and fantastically located house. The house had everything we needed for a stay with our family. We could walk to everything in a few minutes and the historic victorian surrounding are really wonderful.

Overall a nice place to stay. The only down sides was there was no parking near the house, having to carry luggage a block or 2 away was challenging. It got a bit chilly and there was no heat, but lots of blankets made it manageable.

The space was nice and close to the beach and town. It was a charming spot. We had a great time despite the bad weather.

We had a great experience! We were in town for a wedding and had to navigate all kinds of weather experiences, and Karan was super responsive and engaging to make sure we had a great stay. Would absolutely return!

The property was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. The house is in a great location in Ocean Grove which was quiet and nice, but it was only a very short walk to Asbury Park. The house is well stocked with what you need for your stay in terms of linens, appliances, utensils, etc.

We have been coming to Ocean Grove to vacation with friends for many years. We had a last minute change of plans and had to find a new rental. Well, this rental did not disappoint. Check in was a breeze. Although just be aware that parking can be very difficult on the weekends. We found a nearby spot on the Friday we arrived and didn’t move until Tuesday. The location is amazing. We had tent homes right across from us which was delightful. We lacked for nothing as far as the house went. A very nice porch and a small seating area out by the grill. To go to the beach (just a few blocks) there were chairs, beach umbrellas and a sturdy beach wagon. Plenty of towels, two nice showers. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pans etc. Beds were comfortable and the house was very clean and updated. I would highly recommend this rental! Having a bedroom on the first floor is definitely a plus for anyone with mobility issues. This circa 1871 house does have steep stairs to the second floor (like almost every other house we’ve rented in Ocean Grove) so I would bring a baby gate or two if you have little ones.

Everything that was claimed was true. Great coffee, big fridge, washer and dryer, great location, walking distance to major activities, and instant communication with owner. Unique neighborhood. Street Parking was always available. We drove to several activities and still found plenty of parking when we got back. Great porch for sitting and enjoying the neighborhood. Lots of TV,s. Bathroom supplies. Super clean.

This was the perfect place to stay for a week with my family and start off our summer. We were close to Asbury shops and Ocean Grove. Home was clean and perfect size. Owner was very responsive and even helped us as we needed help finding the house when we first arrived. I sent him a message and he called within minutes. Front porch was perfect for morning coffee, ready and late afternoon family talks. Thank you!

Beautiful home in a cozy, quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the Ocean Grove beach (5 min) and Asbury Park (10 min). Hosts were very communicative and left great amenities.

We had a great stay in Ocean Grove! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It's close enough to Asbury Park when you are looking for the crowds, and nice and quiet for the times you'd prefer a calmer experience. Would definitely stay again!

We rented this property as a home base to stay for our wedding weekend. Communication was excellent. They even left a bottle of congratulations Prosecco for us at arrival (cute little touch). The house was clean, full stocked, and adorably decorated. Great location (walking distance) to the little town where all the shop owners are more than friendly. Parking is TOUGH and the one major draw back (I’m sure this is seasonal, we were there on a holiday weekend). Also just an FYI Ocean Grove is a dry town but is right next door to a lot of great food and bars in surrounding towns. Overall it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!

We have been coming to Ocean Grove for years due to the serene environment and this house for perfect for that. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated and communication was easy. Highly recommend!

Although I had to work the first 3 days of our vacation, at least I got to do it at a desk in a quiet room with a comfy chair and monitors. We loved our stay in Ocean Grove and were immediately comfortable in the house. The kitchen was very easy to move around in and we wanted for nothing. Extra points for ambient music from the Auditorium while I read on the porch for hours.

This 150 year old house, situated amid the adorable tents and community church complex in Ocean Grove, has been thoroughly refreshed inside and was fantastic. The modern kitchen was adorned with coordinated accents throughout and the house was generally appointed with owner quality appointments rather than worn rental grade wares. Everything worked, the furnishings were lovely and comfortable, the location/ beach proximity was perfect and the little extras made life so easy. When the owners say towels and sheets and daily supplies ( napkins, coffee, etc) are provided, they mean it, and it was so nice to leave our beach chairs in Maryland and skip the trip to buy TP and dish liquid and salt 😉. The location was super walkable to shops and really just lovely. Parking can be tight in the area but we were always able to find a nearby spot. Kay (owner) was communicative and responsive and we would rent again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!!

There were a few negative points Was disappointed after I booked the owner then told me that we could not use soap or shampoo in the outdoor shower this was one of the reasons we chose the property. .we love taking showers at n the outdoor shower! It was not disclosed in the description of the property. Also when we arrived the the wagon that we were supposed to use to take the chairs and umbrellas to the beach was broken. This should have been replaced before we got there. Also there is no parking at the property you have to find a parking place on the street. This should be disclosed before you book

This house is amazing! Beautifully decorated, extremely clean, beds are super comfy, house fully stocked, and the location couldn't be better! We were literally in the middle of Tent City, a 5 min walk from the beach, and 15 min walk from Asbury Boardwalk. So worth every penny!!

A beautiful airy porch, steps to Asbury Park, lovely quiet ocean grove town. The best part about it was my two teens, ages 15 and 14 could walk around on their own without me worrying at all. Would love to stay again!

Highlights is that we will be looking to rent this house next summer! It was perfect for our family of 5, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and Asbury. The house was GORGEOUS-brand new kitchen, wonderful decor, super clean and the owners were crystal clear with instructions and expectations. And with the beach gear we could borrow-we didn’t have to overpack!

Lovely cottage and well stocked. Had everything we needed to be comfortable including a well stocked kitchen, laundry, and technology. Very quaint community with interesting history and the beach just a short walk away. Host was immediately responsive too our questions (even the dumb ones!). We had a quick early spring getaway here and could not have been happier with our stay. Great location, friendly neighbors, comfortable home. We would love to come back!
