Always enjoy this house

We come to Metro club a few times a year and decided to try this house. Really comfortable, private, beautiful and cozy. Bonus to the management for being on top of everything, great communication, a great house and great service. We will be back.

Pros: - The housekeeping staff were thorough and pleasant. - Location was, for our purposes, convenient. - The house is spacious. It was not luxurious, but comfortable. Cons: - The property management had no idea how to help with anything. For example, they advised us to drive 18 km away to San Pedro to refill our water cooler jugs, when the minimart in the complex would replace the gallon jugs for less than 1 USD. - The house suffered from a lack of maintenance; door handles swinging from hinges, fans not working, rusted can openers, pots and pans with months of grease build up on them. From our viewpoint, housekeeping is for maintenance, not deep cleaning. - When we requested that the rusted, non-operational can opener be replaced, prop management agreed, and then waited 3 days to do so. - Pool turned fully green, requiring it be emptied, scrubbed and refilled. No pool available for 3 days as a result. - The washing machine is outside, which was necessary since it banged and swayed against the walls, making quite a racket. Kids would joke "guess the washing machine is running!" whenever the noise sounded. Needs to be stabilized. - There is an external security camera in the washing machine area not disclosed in the listing. Not specific to this place, but be mindful of the high cost of electricity in DR. This added $700 USD to our total cost for a booking of 4 weeks, when we occupied the house for only 3.

I liked all the staff very friendly everything very clean the pool is large a lot of space to share with family and friends the place is safe I give it 10/10

We always enjoy the beauty, privacy and secure vibes as soon as we come through the front gate. I truly don’t want to give a review about our numerous amounts of stays at the villa, but I can’t be selfish. All I’ll say is your last day will be sad because you are not going to want to leave! Dwayne

The only issue I had with staying here was the number of guests I could have stay with me. IT IS STICKLY LIMITED! HIGHLY SCRUTINIZED AMOUNT. If your a small family great. But if you have friends and family that live in DR be aware. Other then that this place is super lovely. The staff is awsome the pool was great. I have no complaints at all. Specially the cleaning ladies... make sure you leave them a "super" tip because they are very nice and do excellent work. Even things that you think they wond do the do for you...like putting groceries in the fridge for you and moving luggage....lol cool ladies.
