From the moment we drove up to the house til the day we left it was a wonderful experience. Such an adorable apartment with everything you need. Lisa is the hostess extraordinaire. The outdoor patio, the pool, the view, the comfortable living space, everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Everything was great, owner was great. Only thing that sucked was location & no cell service. There was wifi tho but wouldn’t reach all the way to the pool. Shower water sucked too. Went from scolding hot to freezing cold back to hot in minutes. But the hot water doesn’t last 5 minutes until it gets cold. But other than that, everything was great & it was a enjoyable stay experience.

She’s an amazing hostess, she made sure that every detail was put into making her guest feel at home and comfortable. The location was great, the views are amazing. I would definitely stay there again.

We spent our honeymoon at the “Croix Nest” and it is amazing! Easy to find and get to from the airport. , Apt. is clean and beautifully decorated. All necessities are there. The view from the private patio and pool are nothing short of beautiful! Short beautiful drives to Christiansted and Frederiksted. DO: explore every beach you can, DO have Sunday brunch at Ziggys, DO go snorkeling at Buck Island and do not forget your hook bracelet or Chaney wear! We cannot say enough great things about the amazing hostess! Lisa is friendly, helpful and just a doll in general. We did take advantage of her picking up a few grocery items and she even asked about a couple of things to make sure they were correct. She will answer any questions, give you any information she can to help make your stay great! If you are looking for a quiet, stunning place, just GO AHEAD AND BOOK AT THE CROIX’S NEST! You will not be sorry!!! This was our first time to the USVI, but will not be our last, nor our last to this beautiful place on the hill! Thank you Lisa!

My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lisa is an amazing host. Not only did she offer great suggestions for food and activities, but she went above and beyond by picking up our groceries and meeting us at the airport so we could easily find our way in the dark. The property is perfectly located. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax and this was just what we needed. The views are surreal! The amenities were just what we needed: comfortable queen size bed, gas grill, hot plate & convection oven, beach chairs, and towels. We loved floating in the pool with views of the Caribbean. Short drive/walk to the beach we had to ourselves. Easy drive to any part of the island for restaurants, hikes, or adventures. 100% recommend this place and we really hope to come back.

Lisa, our host, was wonderful! She had a map ready for us and a card wishing us a happy 25th anniversary! She was full of information and would answer questions promptly. She even did our grocery shopping for us. We were not disappointed at all. I called it a hidden gem because it is a bit off the path from Christiansted, but it sits up on a hill and has the most amazing view of the ocean. I had my morning coffee on the lanai every morning watching and listening to the waves. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything you need! The pool was beautiful and clean and had floats and chairs ready for us! Lisa and Buster (her dog) made us feel right at home. My husband and I enjoyed Point Udall, the fort in Christiansted, Sand Castle on the beach, The Landing, Cane bay, Castaways, Ziggy's, No Bones, Cruzian Bayou Bistro (best drinks we had next to Big Beard's) and Big Beard's Buck Island tour with snorkeling and a BBQ. Lots of great restaurants- we didn't have a bad meal. We wanted to do the tide pools but didn't- we found a secluded little beach instead. We did some shopping- best by the boardwalk- cruzian hook bracelets can be found but one get one half off at Tropical Bracelet Factory. I will definitely be back! Next time, I will schedule according to the moon so I can do a bioluminescent tour of Salt River Bay and we will brave the hike to the tide pools. We might even go see the beer drinking pigs!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s slice of paradise. It’s a very comfortable apartment with everything you might need for a perfect stay. The bed was so comfortable which was such a nice surprise for those of us that regularly use this site. Really couldn’t have been better.

We really enjoyed the apartment and private pool. Lisa couldn’t have been more accommodating and even asking if we needed anything from the store and going shopping for us before we arrived. She also emailed us a list for restaurants, beaches and excursions before we arrived that we could use during our stay. You will not be disappointed.

The Croix's Nest was the perfect spot for our 1st visit to St. Croix. Lisa was an excellent hostess and provided great communication before our trip as well as being always accessible if we needed anything during our stay. The cottage was pristine, had everything we needed and even a few things we didn't know we needed! Amazing views from every angle of the property make it the perfect spot to just chill out. The location is easy to get in/out of on the East End and is just a short drive from everywhere you want to go while exploring STX. We'll definitely return here again!

Renting from Lisa for our honeymoon was the best choice we made. Her property is immaculate with a breath taking view. She also offers a large list of the best beaches, activities, restaurants, and even grocery stores so our week was seamless and foolproof. We had the best time and are counting down the days until we can get back!

Our experience staying at Lisa’s Croix’s Nest is by far one of the best experiences we've ever had. Communication was consistently excellent, from directions to the cottage & recommendations for restaurants & things to do emailed to us in the weeks leading up to our trip, to a final checkin before departure making sure we had her contact info & an offer to address any last minute questions. Lisa even texted us upon arrival to make sure we landed safely & to let us know she was available should we need further driving instructions. The cottage itself is beautiful and perfect for a couples getaway. Though situated below the main home the cottage was very private & we definitely felt like we had the place & the pool all to ourselves. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay - towels, shampoo, cooler, beach chairs, you name it! It was so nice not having to pack all those additional things or worry about where to find them on island. Bonus: Lisa stocked the cottage & did our initial grocery shopping what a BIG convenience. We love the East end & thought the location was perfect for getting anywhere. We explored the island quite a bit & some of our favorite spots were near Christiansted only a 17-20 minute drive & a very easy drive. We visited Sandy Point Beach on the west end where the movie Shawshank Redemption’s final scene was actually filmed which is about a 40 minute drive from Croix’s Nest. Rainbow Bch, lunch at Rhythms. Cane Bay, lunch at Landings a favorite of ours. Grapetree Bch very close to the cottage, we drove however you can walk. Our very favorite Protestant Cay Bch in Christiansted that has a 3 minute ferry from King Christian Hotel every 5-10 minutes all day. Restaurant on the island a plus, hamburgers are really good. We went to Protestant Cay Beach 3 times during our stay. Very easy driving from Lisa’s to downtown Christiansted. We ate at Blue Water Terrace, Duggan’s Reef (lobster was delicious), Ziggy’s a really neat cool place that has special events. GOAT Restaurant “a must”. All of these restaurants are just a short drive from the cottage. We could not have found a better place, it was really nice, peaceful, breathtaking views & gorgeous sunrises. We sincerely cannot recommend this place enough! It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the views & venture out to explore the island. Property is just like the pictures & Lisa was the “best” host!!!

Stay here! Lisa is an attentive and thoughtful host. This truly is a home away from home. Her place is beautifully decorated with modern American amenities. Towels, beach chairs, pool, patio… dishes, everything you’d need being away from home! The bed was super comfortable. The entire place was spotless. The view is beautiful. Beaches are gloriously aqua! Ask her for dinner ideas. Everything we had for our dinners out were delicious. Lisa suggested Ziggy’s Sunday brunch, and it was outstanding! If you’re planning a trip to Saint Croix, this is lovely place to spend your week! Thank you, Lisa, for making our 20th anniversary so special!

Lisa was AWESOME! Very accommodating and respectful of our privacy. The apartment was a good 30+ minutes away from almost everything, so make sure you rent a car. Not fancy, but very reflective of St. Croix (laid back, relaxed and beautiful). We had a great time and will look up The Croix's Nest for a repeat visit.

We had an incredible experience! The property is exceptionally located. The views are absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend sitting on the patio as much as possible and just taking it all in, day and night! The constant sound of the ocean is incredibly soothing. The apartment itself is spacious, tastefully decorated, the bed is very comfortable, and there are lots of special touches. Lisa is very personable, knowledgeable, welcoming, and very kind. She definitely goes above and beyond. I traveled with my mom and adult daughter, we felt very safe on the property.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for the week. It was just 3 of us so it was perfect! Lisa is wonderful and very hospitable. The outdoor seating area and pool area were wonderful! In the morning it was nice to have the doors open to feel the ocean breeze. We highly recommend staying here. Definitely rent a car in this side of the island.

Seriously don’t look any further. Lisa was the perfect host and her place was absolutely beautiful. It overlooks the ocean and has all the “trade wind” breeze you need to take it all in. It’s only a quick drive to Christiansted and is nearest to the best beaches. Very clean and cozy at night. She provided everything we needed for a relaxing private pool day, to chill drinks at the beach, to a grill with propane for grilling out. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there and will definitely be back!

Staying at Croix’s Nest was literally the BEST experience we’ve ever had!! The pictures on VRBO are so beautiful and accurate. Lisa’s house was paradise! She is the best hostess! She offered to grocery shop for us before we got there. We declined because we didn’t want to be a bother, but then she still made sure we had bananas a little snack to get us through. We were celebrating our honeymoon and she surprised us with traditional rum cake as a gift ❤️ She also provided us with a list of popular restaurants, tourist attractions and things to do. She was beyond helpful and made our trip so much easier to plan! Her house was equipped with everything we could possibly need (she literally thought of everything!). Lisa is so kind and friendly, and an all around very sweet person. If we come back to St. Croix, we won’t stay anywhere except Croix’s Nest! Thank you Lisa for being such an awesome host!
