We came for an Anniversary get away and it was such a cute little cottage for us! We enjoyed it!

This is a darling casita. Wonderful amenities and gorgeous yard. Tara was the perfect host. This was our first trip with our dog to Fburg and she made us feel so at home and welcome.
We will most definitely use this location in the future.

All of the 5 star reviews are accurate with the exception of the unit being entered while we were not there by the male property owner.
We setup a camera with audio to monitor our dog to make sure he behaved when we were out. We were startled when our phones went off with a person alert while we were at breakfast, only to see the male owner in the unit.
The dog was not barking and there was no eminent danger so there was no reason for him to enter.
All of our personal belongins were visible, as we had no reason to believe they should not be as we had all of the blinds closed.
While I understand it is his property, according to Texas law and VRBO the entering of a rented unit is against the renters rights and is a violation of privacy.
We reached out to VRBO and they said it was within our rights to leave this review and they are sending a warning to the owner. If the owner receives a second warning, they will no longer be able to rent through VRBO.

We started there with our dog for two days. The cottage was just as described and located only a few blocks from Main Street. Tara and Jeff were truly hospitable and accommodating. We had a lovely time! John and Jennifer

The casita was perfect in every way for our get away to FBerg.. the accommodations were comfortable and every little detail of the design and furnishings were really well thought out and delivered!
We also really appreciated your great communications and the time you (and Blackjack) shared with us!

Our stay was awesome, one of the nicest places we have stayed! Perfect location, quiet but super close to the main street! Tara and her husband, were warm and welcoming made us feel right at home! We brought our dog with us, he loved the backyard to run around in. Over all 11/10 recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in Fredricksburg!

We had an awesome stay at Tara’s guest house! The place was spotless, well decorated, and had everything we needed and more for a wonderful long weekend in Fredericksburg. We especially liked the fenced in yard for our dog who traveled with us! We will be back!

Lovely little cottage close to Main Street in Fredericksburg. Situated in a quiet neighborhood one couldn't ask for better accommodations nor a more friendly and knowledgeable host. I highly recommend this property and host.

Tara’s casita was everything we wanted and more! It was super clean, with a comfortable bed and spacious shower. The perfect place for my husband, myself, and our pup! Not to mention, Tara was very personable and accommodating. We will be staying here again on our next trip to wine country!

This was our 3rd time at the casita. We absolutely love it every time. Everything is so easy and accommodating. Tara is always there to greet you and help with any questions you need. Definitely recommend. We even walked into town once! It’s a great place, great location, cute town and super safe !!!

Don’t hesitate to book-it’s a lovely place! The hosts made everything so easy and they are so sweet. The place is beautiful and so adorable. The bed and linens were so comfortable. They have everything you would need in the kitchenette. The bathroom towels so soft and lush. Would definitely recommend!

The casita is charming, comfortable and well equipped. The size makes it perfect for 1 or 2 guests. The location is far enough from the hustle of Main Street to be quiet yet close enough to easily get to shopping and cafes. Ultimately though, it is the Host that will make or break a stay and in this instance, the Hosts were all about making sure the stay was perfect. You couldn't ask for a more generous Host. This is a great place to stay if visiting the Fredericksburg area. Highly recommend.

This little cottage is the cutest. Everything you need is there. When you think there’s something you forgot, be assure, it’s probably in a little drawer around there. So quint and cozy. I’ll be back!!!

Stayed for a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and our two dogs. The place was clean and comfortable, and the owners were very welcoming of us and our fur babies. Great setup for dog owners. There is a private yard that is even equipped with a dog waste bag station and a small hose. The casita itself is comfortable, modern, and comes stocked with all the essentials. The location makes visiting downtown Fredericksburg a breeze, being about a 3 minute drive to Main Street. Would definitely recommend.🙂🙂🐶🐶

My daughter and I stayed in this lovely Casita for two nights and found it to be very comfortable. We enjoyed the location, the property and the hosts were gracious. They were readily available but not intrusive during our stay. Cannot think of one thing I would change about this sweet Casita!

This is our second time to stay at this property. It is the sweetest little cottage/casita! So clean, decorated so nicely, so comfortable, private porch, even a private fenced in area for our little dog. Lovely trees all around, flowers about the yard. The owner did not leave out anything that we may have needed. Sweetest owners!
We will always return to this property whenever we go to Fredericksburg!

We planned a last minute getaway to Fredericksburg to celebrate our anniversary and this casita was a delight. It had everything we could have possibly needed and the decor was fresh and cute. Tara and her husband were great hosts and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and wineries. We had a lovely stay!

We were so impressed with everything about of stay!! The Casita is excellent for 2 adults and a pet, the location so convenient!! The welcome bottle of sparkling wine and mini cupcakes a terrific surprise!! Highly recommend!

Surprised by the cleanliness. I always travel with things to cleanup a bit upon arrival.. when I walked it, I immediately realized it would not be needed. Owners were very friendly and hospitable to not only us but our furrbaby. Perfect for our weekend getaway!

A wonderful casita on the owners property. An incredible renovated space that looks spectacular. it looks like it just was in a photo shoot for HGTV. The casita was amazing. Very comfortable and more amenities than I'll ever use. Traveling with 2 dogs can be tricky. The yards were set up perfectly for them.

My wife and I make annual trips to Fredericksburg mid to late December to enjoy the holiday activities in the city. We typically stay in a different Vrbo property each time. For this trip we selected Tara's casita and were not disappointed. The casita was even better than advertised, well decorated, clean, comfortable, and in execellent condition. Tara was a terrific host and met us on arrival and departure, asking about our stay and what else she could do to make us comfortable. There the casita was stocked with chocolates, coffee, and even a pleasant surprise beverage in the refrigerator. We will definitely stay here again...proximity to Main street is good but far enough away for peace and quiet in the evening. Overall, great stay and I encourage others to try the casita and meet Tara. Larry.
