This was my first time staying in a home that is very much occupied by someone who stepped out so we could stay. Everything in the house was very personal and made us uncomfortable. Stepping into someone else's intimate space was a new experience for me and was very uncomfortable. The house was not completely clean (lots of dusty surfaces), there were outlets missing covers, and the kitchen smelled like somebody had very recently cooked crab. I think the location was great and the host seemed nice and responsive. I think if you are comfortable stepping into someone elses home, this could be good for you, but you should know that is what you are getting into.

Had a great girls weekend staying at this house in the heart of Riggins.

This was an awesome location in Riggins. Kim was an awesome host. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had 5 couples! The bedrooms allow for privacy. The kitchen is wonderful as my group enjoys cooking. The island is gigantic!! Perfect for appetizers and snacks, buffet style!! It’s located right in town so you can walk about anywhere!! We plan to stay again.

We spent 3 nights in Kim’s house and it was perfect. The property was just as advertised, very clean and our group of family and friends had a great stay. The location was perfect, we were able to easily walk to most places we visited in town. If you are planning to spend some time in Riggins, you need to check this property out, you will be very happy with your choice. When we come back next year for our Riggins rafting trip we are planning to book this house again.

Kim was incredible. Her house is perfect. Location, space…everything was ideal. There is ample outdoor area and inside is just as cozy. The bedrooms are arranged perfectly so the night owls don’t disturb the early sleepers. I cannot talk enough about how perfect Kim’s place is. We will definitely be back!

Super cute house, lots of room to hang out. We visited in winter so didn't get to use the nice patio and yard but looks like outside space would be awesome in spring or summer!

Booked this property with 7 friends for fishing on the Snake River from Pittsburg Landing. Property was nicely furnished, well equipped with appliances and creature comforts, immaculately clean. The owner, Kim communicated with me via text and email and greeted us on arrival showing us all of the details of the property. Awesome views of towering hills from the back deck. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a Riggins location that can accommodate a fairly large group.

This is a lovely house that will work amazingly well for some people but is not a good fit for others. This is Kim's actual home and she stays in an RV in the back when she rents it out. This creates an opportunity to build a good relationship with Kim. Kim is a lovely, kind, friendly host who prefers to communicate verbally--at lest she is kind until she decides that you're not a "normal" guest. There are NO check in or check out procedures on her VRBO page. There are NO house rules on her VRBO page. This can create problems as it means that the house rules can and do change as your stay progresses. It also means that Kim will come into the house or yard while you are away. This made us feel a little uncomfortable--staying here felt more like we were guests in Kim's home than we were renting a vacation home. And, much like a guest staying in someone's home, Kim became more and more irritated with us for the duration of our stay. She told us we were the first group who had stayed more than a week (we stayed two) and I would highly recommend that your stay not extend beyond a week. Additionally, it means that the house is completely full of Kim's belongings. This means there is no where to put your...anything. No pantry space for your food, no closet space for your clothes/suitcase. Not even room in the freezer for one tub of ice cream. Finally, Kim did not provide check-out instructions via text until after we had left the home. As check-out was at 11am, and we had a 6 hour drive back to our house, we had prepared to leave the day before in order to get an early start. Kim is a great host and her home is beautiful and inviting. Our group had a wonderful time. Played cornhole in the front yard and chilled with the group on the patio. We will be back again and look forward to it again next year.
