This cottage was so cozy and made our trip so enjoyable. We felt right at home, and it had everything we needed and then some. It was close to many things in town and the beach and a short drive from so many fun things to do in the UP.

Exactly what we were looking for! Walking distance to restaurants, shops and lake. Plenty of hiking and fall colors. Lovely home!

A cozy home with all the comforts of home. The house is in a great location. It's an easy walk to the town and the beach. The property manager was very pleasant and informed us of all the amenities. We had a great time and we'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mermaid Cottage in Grand Marais! The cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed! Very clean and everything was just like it is listed. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The location is absolutely perfect for walking to the beach, to get coffee at the Dream Machine, and pizza at the GM Tavern. We loved it so much we have already booked next year!

This house was just perfect for a stay in Grand Marais. It was very well kept and updated but still preserved some of its vintage authenticity. It was walking distance to town and beach. We used the large yard with a fire pit and table. We didn't get a chance to use the bikes and kayaks.

My husband’s family has been coming to Grand Marais every summer for 50+ years. We really enjoyed staying at the cottage in town this summer as it was perfect for our family of four! It is very cute and functioned well for us. We loved the fenced in back yard for our two young boys. The fire pit was great for campfires in the evening. Would highly recommend staying there!

This was a nice house to stay at. Very close to the beach, which is what we were there for. We did not use them, but they had kayaks and bikes available. The yard was a decent size and good for the kids to play in.

We had a great visit there. No complaints.

This place is super cute with an excellent location to downtown and the park. It was comfortable and clean and had anything you could need. Will definitely stay again!

Nice property

I loved this little house. It is just as pictured, clean and cozy. I would stay again particularly if staying for a longer time where I was in the cottage more. It is well stocked with dishes, towels, dvds and even a little sewing kit in the drawer. Lots of thoughtful touches. The beach is not that far away, and the town is small but nice, it has a grocery, gas, a few restaurants. It was very quiet at night and peaceful. In one room there is a twin bed, and a bunk bed with a bigger lower bed, and in the other room there is a queen (or maybe a double). It was a bit soft on one side but the other side was just fine. The house has a big tv with a roku, wifi that works well, and alexa. There are some games and books in the mud room. There is regular full house heat with a modern thermostat. The kitchen has a really nice gas stove that I'd have love to use (but was just too busy doing things). It is all very clean and bright with some cheerful art on the walls.

The place was so cozy and comfortable! Everything you would ever need was supplied. Great location to downtown Grand Marais and to Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. The Becker Kids were great to work with! We will absolutely stay here again! Love love love Grand Marais!!!

Perfect spot for us. Historic home 3blocks from downtown. Idyllic town that feels frozen in time. We enjoyed the beach, harbor and proximity to Pictured Rocks. House was well-stocked and comfy.

The Mermaid Cottage was perfect! Right down the street from a beautiful beach. We went to see the Pictured Rocks and we’re t disappointed. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a great vacation.

This house was as cute as the pictures show. It had everything I needed for my stay and the washer/dryer was a real bonus. The best part of the house was the location. A few minutes’ walk got me to the little town and the park with lovely views of the lake. Sable Falls was super close and was an easy walk and breathtaking to this waterfall enthusiast. I would definitely return here for a homebase while in the Upper Peninsula

We enjoyed our stay here and expectations were definitely met. Great location with quick access to restaurants, coffee shop, beach and pictured rocks. It is nice they have bikes and kayaks available as well. Due to rain, we spent one day inside playing the board games they have available. Also, they have good WIFI which was great as I had a little work to get done.

The property was very clean, updated and better than advertised which was a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed the stocked fire pit!

We loved this house for our recent stay! The house was immaculately clean, had lots of fun amenities, and everything you could need. We loved the board games for a rainy Fourth of July day, and we kayaked all over the bay!

This house was conducive to meal preparation - nice appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. We found all of the amenities we needed for the weekend stay. Walking distance to almost anywhere in Grand Marais. Access to the snowmobile trails was quite good.

We loved the house, it was perfect for our needs. We were able to hit the snowmobile trails easy and the town had some great restaurants. The house was clean and had all we needed for the stay. The owners were very responsive to communicate. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Great place to stay, only thing I'd ask is have new door handle be put on front door. Very hard to turn. Rest house was great 👍
