Had a great week...House has everything needed and more! Loved the location. Relaxing on the deck with the view was my favorite. Close to beach, saw amazing sunrises and close to the bay for sunsets. Howard was quick with communication..:)

This was our first time to LBI and had an amazing stay here. Howard was incredibly responsive and super helpful!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. It was in a great location, had wonderful views of the ocean, and offered many amenities. Howie was extremely communicative and was super pleasant to rent from. One of the best places on LBI. Would highly recommend.

Recently stayed at this property that was advertised as a 4 bedroom. Upon check-in, we immediately contacted Howard the host because we could not find the 4th bedroom. He told us where to find the garage door opener, and told us that is where the 4th bedroom is. Inside of the uninsulated garage with concrete floors, we did in fact find the 4th bedroom, 2 of the queen beds advertised on the listing (among many issues with this falsely advertised property was the fact that the other bedrooms in the home had full beds not queen beds, those larger beds are in the garage) and one of the bathrooms. Because our children were supposed to sleep in this 4th bedroom but it had no access to the main home, they were forced to sleep on the living room floor instead for the entire week. In addition, Howard and Caroline tried to collect a $750 cash security deposit at the last second (before check-in) that VRBO clearly warned me was against their policy and completely not allowed. While VRBO owners can charge security deposits, it must be done through the app NOT via cash/check personal exchanges. Only because I did my due diligence of contacting VBRO did they waive my family’s deposit altogether, even though I was happy to pay it but did not want to do any transactions outside of the app. After moving out, they tried to charge my card through VBRO for an ordinance ticket they received dealing with overfilling a trash can (the trash was in the can, but the bags for the trash could be seen above the rim of the can…the can had no lid). There was no instructions provided regarding trash and nowhere was it noted that this was any type of violation , not in their listing or in the welcome packet. Be sure that if you book this property, they will be charging you for any miscellaneous incidentals they want. They agreed to refund me for this charge in exchange for me not leaving this honest review, but as of this review, it has been a week since they promised to refund me and the charge remains on my account. My family chose to make the best of our time on the beautiful island instead of being the squeaky wheel, but something needs to be done.

Relaxing house across the street from beach in a quiet area of LBI.

I have been vacationing on LBI since the 1960’s. I have never stayed in the most southern end in Holgate. I loved it!! It was quite, the house was very clean, well stocked and did not disappoint. Would definitely rent this home again. The owners are very attentive and very helpful in answering questions.

LBI has always been our favorite place for family summer vacations. Went every year for years with our kids and returning with them and the grandkids is a dream come true. This was our 2nd year staying at this house. We stayed 1 week in 2021 and loved it so much we did 2 weeks in 2022 and have already booked 2 weeks for 2023. The house has everything you need for a great vacation. Anything you need for the beach is available, from toys for the kids to umbrellas and chairs and beach passes. The house is completely equipped for cooking, games and sitting outside on the decks or the fenced in patio. 2 minutes walk to the beach that was never over-crowded and a short drive to Beach Haven stores and restaurants. Nice quiet area out of the busy rush of Beach Haven yet a 3 minute drive to anything you might need or want to do. Hated leaving but already counting down to when we will return. Again, thanks to terrific hosts who were available at anytime and sincerely concerned with their guests happiness in their home.

Another year at LBI in the books and we were very happy with our stay. The house supplied more amenities than previous homes we’ve rented. Beach chairs, badges, large beach towels, floor mats and hand towels. The mattress I was on was very comfortable (another nice change from previous homes). Communication with the owners was always quick and easy!

Especially easy walk to pool and able to see beautiful sunsets at the bay. We loved the house and didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful home, great location and a lot of amenities. We had a fabulous week. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This house was as advertised and right on the beach where it was supposed to be. The hosts were accessible, all the amenities were great and we had a great time.

We really enjoyed the house. Has everything needed for the beach (chairs, umbrella, towels, badges, toys) and the older kids enjoyed having their own “apartment” on the first level. The living room area was slightly smaller than we hoped as our whole group (10 of us) couldn’t lounge in there together, but we made it work and enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The decks were perfect for relaxing and just hanging out. Our 7th month old granddaughter waved to all the passerby's, too cute! The house has everything you could possibly need, just bring your suitcase. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and beach badges are all included. Our family had the best time!

Great location, great hosts, cozy home with many amenities to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.

We spent ten days in June 2021. We had a steady parade of friends and family, and everyone loved the house. The location is great, with constant breezes, the ocean right across the street, and gorgeous bay sunsets about a 3 minute walk. Free tennis court, basketball court and playground at the bay. The house includes everything you need. There were thirteen beach chairs, two umbrellas, eleven beach badges, beach toys and boogie boards all loaded up in a beach wagon. Sheets and towels provided, plenty of outdoor seating, umbrella table, grill and fantastic outdoor shower. Everything you need for a great beach stay!
